The truth is painful. Just because I still love Dira and hope that we can get back together doesn't mean that she and I have a relationship. I am a single man. Any girl has the right to get closer to me. Just like Dira who has the right to be close to other men.
No. gabe. I'm not gonna let that happen. Although I'm not sure I can take better care of him than before, I can't see him with the others. Knowing that Jordan was going to sleep with him alone had me having nightmares for days.
As long as we're in this place, I'll keep a close eye on him. A couple of young men looked at him as we walked from the check-in counter to the cabin of the plane. Masks and hats cannot cover that she is an attractive girl. Especially while we are on holiday here. There would definitely be a lot of young men trying to get close to him.
“You better not come near me or Adi. Your caucasoid appearance attracted the attention of many women.” Hadi put a plate of food and a cup of coffee on the table. “Choosing a table in the middle of the room is also not a wise choice.”
“Who comes sitting near us? Ye. Not us close to you,” errat Wyatt. He looked towards the entrance. “Ah, my beautiful girl has arrived.”
We simultaneously looked in a direction that caught Wyatt's attention. Charlotte, Dira, Clarissa, and Wendy entered along with laughter adorning their faces. Dira looked around the room, then we met a look. His happy face turned sullen before he threw his face away.
They chose one of the tables that was close to the window which was quite far from our table. I felt a kick on my leg, then turned towards Wyatt and Hadi. Wyatt who was looking at Dira's desk also suddenly turned his head. And I know who did it.
“Hadi, you don't need to kick my leg so,” my protest to my best friend.
“Oh. So you kicked my leg?” wyatt.
“You two are embarrassing. Stop looking at my sister and her friend. Hurry up, finish your food. Do not let the girls finish first,” Hadi said firmly.
After enjoying a snack and a cup of coffee, Wyatt and I got out of the dining room first to prepare the bike we would need. The receptionist asked one of his colleagues to drive us to the bike rental.
They have twenty units of bicycles that unfortunately are mostly used by visitors and they have not returned. There are only four bikes that can be used both because there is a seat on the rear wheel. Wyatt and I exchanged meaningful looks.
“I'm sure Dira won't want me bonceng.” I took both bikes to the front door of the hotel.
Wyatt walked by my side on two other bikes. “Charlotte also won't want to ride this bike with me.” Wyatt shook his head.
Our six travel companions were already standing near the main entrance. Hearing our footsteps, they turned their heads. Dira and Charlotte frowned they saw the bike we were carrying, then a second later, they smiled.
“I want a red bike!” cheers of Dira who was soon approaching Wyatt. Charlotte did the same thing by taking over the white bike I was holding.
“We only got four bikes, so we have to share,”. “Other bikes are still used by hotel visitors.”
Dira and Charlotte simultaneously sighed loudly. “Come, Wendy. I'll screw you.” Dira looked towards his best friend.
“No. Let me screw you. You will not be strong to piggyback on your friends along the way later.” Hadi immediately gave a signal for his sister to sit in the back. Dira groaned slowly, but he obeyed his brother's orders.
“Come, Adi. You're with me,” take Charlotte cheerfully. Adi glanced at Wyatt before approaching the girl.
Clarissa and Wendy looked at each other. Wendy approached Wyatt, and Clarissa chose me. Sure oes. Wendy and Wyatt are classmates, on the other hand, me and Clarissa are college friends. So, this is the right choice.
“Are you aware that we are one bike with the first letter of the same name as us?” joked Wyatt when we were outside the hotel grounds. “Wyatt-Wendy, Colin-Clarissa.”
“Mitosnya, if our names start with the same letters, then we are a mate,” said Wendy. “But I'm not fooling you, Wyatt.”
Me and Clarissa laughed at that. “Charlotte isn't interested in Wyatt anymore, so you have plenty of opportunities to get close to him, Wendy. Wyatt is a good young man. You won't regret being her boyfriend.” Clarissa blinked one eye.
“But for Wyatt, only Charlotte deserves her. Don't you know how many of our classmates are fighting over being her boyfriend? He treated everything well, just friends. Not more. There was one girl who desperately expressed love and Wyatt rejected her,” Wendy said.
“The girl begged Wyatt not to say that to anyone. And he kept his promise. You have to see this girl in person, because you won't believe that Wyatt can resist her. She is beautiful, comes from a wealthy family, and is smart.” He deliberately put emphasis on the word beautiful and rich.
“If the incident is a secret, how can you know?” many confused.
“Because Charlotte invited me to see the incident.” Wendy laughed. He and Wyatt looked at us meaningfully. “Charlotte couldn't contain her anger and she had a fight with Wyatt after the girl left.”
“Ah, I remember that day. Charlotte didn't tell me what happened, but she's really mad at you. So, that's what happened at school?” Clarissa laughed amusedly.
“Now you guys understand why I haven't given up on approaching him again.” Wyatt spoke in a proud tone. “Charlotte still loves me. He just needs time to admit it.”
“Hope you luck,” tease Wendy. “Charlotte and Dira have very similar properties. They find it hard to forgive the person who betrayed them.”
“Already, already. We're on vacation. Stop discussing serious matters,” Clarissa's divorce. “I've never been to Bali, so I don't want you guys to ruin the atmosphere of this holiday.”
“The six of you have gone mad. I've never heard of three pairs of ex-girlfriends vacationing together like this.” Wendy looked at us in disbelief.
“Sorry, I don't want to come. Hadi forced me,” said I defended myself.
“Logger. You can continue to refuse or not come to the airport. Honestly, you want to come because you want to vacation with Dira, ‘kan?” Wyatt.
Clarissa's request we ignored. We just keep discussing serious things that are occasionally interspersed with relaxing topics. Wendy took advantage of the situation to mock the three of us, but Wyatt responded with a joke that made us all laugh.
We stopped talking when we arrived at the location. After parking the bike and locking it, we walked together towards the very famous terraced rice fields in Ubud. Dira and Charlotte walked first in front of us, followed by Hadi and Adi. They seemed to have been used to coming to this place.
While the girls were busy taking pictures, me and my friends enjoyed the scenery around us. The color of the rice has yellowed, and the rice in some locations has been harvested. But that doesn't diminish the uniqueness of the place.
Hadi chose the right time to come to this place because it has not entered a school holiday. So, we meet more tourists who are our age or more mature. They rarely bring children.
I averted my eyes when again I stared at Dira for too long. Wendy's right. We've gone crazy on vacation together like this. Although Hadi is smarter at pretending, but he is also often I find watching Clarissa from afar. The three of us are losers.
“Hey, we meet again!” There was a sound coming from behind us.

Meanwhile somewhere~
“Why did they return the package?” tanya Reese looked at the box Cilla gave the courier a few hours ago, back on the sideboard in the front room.
“Hadi is not at home, that's the only reason they told the courier.” Cilla shrugged both of her shoulders.
“She has a lot of waiters, can't they accept the package then save in her room until she comes back later?” reese asked not to understand.
“Don't ask me. It wasn't me who asked for the package to be returned.” Cilla was again busy with her phone, hinting that she would not discuss it again.
“Then, let me deliver this package myself.” Reese picked up the box, then called the driver to get the car out.
“Reese, don't embarrass yourself. They've already turned down the package, why did you come to take him? Do you think they'll change their mind if you come to their house?” Cilla blocked Reese by standing at the door.
“Soge, Cilla. They won't refuse if I come alone. Maybe they misunderstood the package. I need to straighten out the problem. This gift is very expensive, so I will not waste my money in vain.” Reese tries to move Cilla's body.
“Reese? Where are you going? Soon your tutor will be coming.” Bianca came to the front room carrying drinks and food on top of a tray.
“I'll be right back, Ma. There is an important affair with the future daughter-in-law Mama.” Reese manages to get Cilla to shift from the front door. He drove to his waiting car.
