“What's up? Usually you don't mind being hugged like this. Is it because I'm not that girl?” valeria whispered in my ear. I immediately grabbed her arms and pushed her away from me.

“Are you crazy? I never let anyone hug me, except my girlfriend.” I immediately retreated from it, putting some distance between us.

Valeria looked to her left. I looked in the same direction. There Wyatt stood there with his head shaking slowly. Whatdoes thatmean? “Yes, he was the reason I did that earlier.” I looked at the girl again hearing that strange sentence. “If I could hurt Hadi by hurting his sister, then whatever I would do.”

This time I understood what he meant. “If anything happens to Dira, I won't let you off. If you have a problem with me or Hadi, just solve that problem between us. Don't involve others.”

“What's fun to have a problem if it's just solved well?” He smiled mockingly. “You and Hadi live too comfortably with family and possessions. You don't know what a problem is. So, I'll show it to you.”

Crazy women. Does he think he's the only one with problems in this world, and I and Hadi don't? I'll deal with him later. The first thing I have to do is meet Dira and talk to her. She had misunderstood seeing Valeria hug me earlier.

Wyatt walked by my side as I half ran towards our lecture hall. They were intending to go to the library of the department when Valeria suddenly just hugged me. Without trying to understand what really happened, Dira immediately left and Charlotte chased after him.

He wasn't in their next lecture room or anywhere else around the building. Where the hell's he going? Wyatt patted me on the shoulder and asked me to follow him. Maybe Charlotte texted him and told him where they were.

Justright. Wyatt walked towards the parking lot and that's where they were. Charlotte and Wendy were standing by the open back door. Dira must be in the car. They both glared at me when I was innocent. Valeria who suddenly came and hugged me, without me having a chance to prevent.

I took a deep breath as Charlotte and Wendy stepped aside so I could talk to Dira who was sitting in the backseat. “Honey,” I say slowly. He just kept quiet. “I didn't have time to prevent that from happening. I heard him call me and suddenly he hugged—.”

“I know,” said Dira quickly cut my explanation. “I'm just jealous and can't bear to see her body stuck to yours. I know it's not your fault.” He exhaled, then turned to look at me. “I just remembered. She's a woman who has demeaned you on the day Kak Hadi undergoes a proposal seminar, ‘kan?”

“Iya, right. I have to divorce you guys, because you're so mad at him.”

“Stupid me. How could I not recognize him? He spoke so sweetly to me last week. It's only natural that he doesn't recognize me. After we had lunch together, I walked with them to the campus. I approached my motorcycle, while the four of them returned to the lecture hall. I had just put my jacket back on when I felt someone hugging me from behind. The distinctive scent of her hair shut off my intention of letting go of her embrace.

“Thank you for pushing that woman away from you. I believe in you, Colin. I believe you won't hurt me intentionally anymore,” Dira said on my back.

I touched her hand in front of my chest. “I will take good care of myself. Okay well? I promise there will be no more women among us.” I felt him nod his head. “Go, you can be late to college.”

She let go of her embrace so I could turn around. After a few steps, he turned around and waved his hand at me. I returned the wave. Who the real Valeria is I'll know soon enough. Could it be that he had something to do with the person from Uncle and Aunt's past? Vivaldo and Nora are. Is it possible that the same case also prompted Valeria to do this recklessly?

I tried to forget the incident and picked Lily up from school. He was lucky to be in class with Adi, so he immediately had a close friend. Not like my previous experience in old school. He had to wait a long time to have just one friend.

Half an hour through heavy traffic during the day, we arrived at our apartment building. I immediately headed to the room and cleaned myself up. After days of busy with thesis revision, then I have the right to relax for a moment and play games.

Lily joined me sitting on the living room couch a few minutes later. He greeted me and Adi who were in the game. Since his character has not completed weekly missions, then I helped him out. We also drifted into the online game.

In less than an hour, I've helped them complete all the weekly missions that can be done on any day. The rest of the missions can only be carried out on Saturday nights with group mates. But the two of them were already quite satisfied with their achievements today.

“Lily, can I ask you something?” I said after giving him a bag of potato chips. He nodded quickly while remaining busy playing with his game character. “This is a very serious question.”

“Just ask. Since when have you been disinclined by me?” said relaxed.

“Oke.” I hold my sitting position. “Do you like Adi?”

“Of course. We are best friends since childhood like you and Hadi.” He put a piece of chips in his mouth. Maybe he doesn't understand what I mean.

“That's not what I mean,” I said again.

He raised his head and this time really directed his attention to me. “You mean, like as more than friends?” tanyakanya. I'm nodding. “I'm honest, yes. But I know we can't be together. My feelings for him grew because we were together often. I have no choice but to feel this.” He's still relaxed.

“Lily, if you really fall in love—” I said trying to find a way out.

“Colin, I've said that this feeling grows because we often do things together. Don't misunderstand my confession. I'm not a kid anymore who's gonna be selfish with his brother. Anyway you know that I am not interested in getting married at such a young age.” Lily smiled, but I felt guilty.

“Hey, don't put that face on. I don't like. Do I have to pick one friend at school and ask her to be my girlfriend to make you feel calm?” tanyanya joking.

“I understand what it's like to fall in love for the first time. That's why I—”

“No, Colin. You don't understand what it feels like.” Lily immediately cut my sentence. “ For you, there is only one woman in your lifetime. If you want to talk about experiences with first love, Dad and Mama are the more appropriate people.” He stuck out his tongue. I don't argue, because he's right. “Only you know that. Please, keep it a secret from anyone. I didn't want Adi to feel bad and our friendship broke down. I beg.”

“You sure you won't be anything?” I'm still worried.

“Is it just me who thinks that there are many men in this world besides him?” Lily raised both her eyebrows mocking me. Seeing that, I immediately stood closer to teach him a lesson. But he had already jumped down from the sofa and fled to his room.
