He's The Unaffordable
Chapter 62 - Brought Off

*Colin*

I can't believe what I saw in my mirror. A car just hit Hadi's car. The sound of the brakes squeaking shut my ears. The green light has been on for a few seconds for our lane, why does the car from the direction it should have stopped and still go fast?

The blood seemed to stop as I pulled over and left my motorcycle just like that to see my best friend. I know that they always buy cars with high safety and quality. But the sound of the two cars fighting is not good news.

I had trouble crossing because there was a car and a bunch of people blocking me from passing by. I don't know what these men want, but the one in the car that had the accident was my best friend. As much as I could push them so I could pass.

When I was near them, I asked for help so that I would be given a way. Passenger side doors opened, so I could check them without having to force open the door. But what I found made me even more worried. Clarissa does not exist.

“Ha-hadi?” I called my friend who closed both eyes. I saw his chest go up and down. From the body part I saw, there was no blood or anything suspicious. What I'm worried about is his right side. I walked to the driver's side. “Pak, Mom, please step aside. Make room so my friend does not lack air.”

I couldn't open the driver's door, so I could only check it through the broken window. His head was fine, thanks to the air bag on the side of the window. I dare not touch his hand or any other part of his body. “To-please call an ambulance,” my door to someone near me.

“Already, Son. Do you know him?” asked the woman who was staring at Hadi worriedly.

“Iya. He's my best friend, he's my best friend ..” I looked around the car. There are some broken glass that managed to get into the floor of the car. The airbag in front of the driver and passengers, also on the side of the window works well, but not with the side of the passenger window. Clarissa must have been hurt. But where is he?

“Did anyone see the girl in this car? She is blonde, wears a red and brown checkered shirt and black trousers,” I ask people around me.

“I saw it.” A woman raised her hand. He's standing pretty far away from me. “There are two men wearing headgear who take him into a car and go that way.” He pointed towards the left side of the road. It's critical.

“Is there nothing we can do for this child? Pity to see him pass out so,” said the woman near me.

“No. Don't do anything to her. He was breathing and there was no blood. As long as the car doesn't smoke, he'll be fine in the car. We do not know if there is a broken bone .. Better the medical personnel who checked his condition.”

I immediately called Uncle Hendra, not knowing what to do while waiting for help to arrive. “Uncle, something bad has happened.”

“I know. Ambulance is coming soon. Is Hadi okay? She's unconscious or unconscious?” uncle Hendra said calmly. His eldest son had just been in a severe accident and he could still speak in a calm tone?

“He was unconscious, Uncle. He was breathing and there was no blood. And one more thing, it looks like someone kidnapped Clarissa.” I looked towards the path that the people were referring to. Where did they take the girl?

“Don't worry about Clarissa. Let me take care of it. Please, take care of Hadi for me. There are some things I have to take care of, I will meet you at the hospital.” Uncle Hendra ended our phone call with a siren approaching.

Ambulances came along with police who immediately dispersed the crowd. I kept my distance to give the media officer space to help my best friend. They checked his condition, then got him out of the car. After inquiring about their destination hospital, I rushed towards where I left my motorcycle.

I'm about to lose my vehicle. But I found him still in the same place in the same position I left him. I immediately started the engine and followed where the ambulance was going.

No matter what other vehicles were around me, I kept a safe distance behind the ambulance. We moved on without hindrance until we finally arrived at the hospital. They took him to the emergency department, I immediately parked my motorcycle.

I looked for him among the rooms whose curtains were closed. When I found her, I saw that they had undressed. The position of his right hand looks strange, was his arm broken due to the collision earlier? His waist, hips, and the outside of his right thighs were bruised. That part will soon turn a bluish black.

The doctor ordered a CT scan immediately to find out if there are any injuries on the inside, including his organs. A nun asked me to fill in as well as an autograph on some documents they provided.

Uncle Hendra who looks calm now I can understand. He tried hard so that his wife did not panic. I could see the worry from both eyes when the doctor told the state of his son as far as the results of the physical examination they did. To find out in detail, they need to wait for the results of the CT Scan.

“I don't care about the cost. Do whatever is best for my son,” Uncle Hendra told Dr. Andreas.

“Definitely, Hendra.” The man patted Uncle Hendra on the shoulder, then left with a nurse out of the emergency room.

“What if something bad happens to her?” tanya Aunt Zahara sobbed. Uncle Hendra hugged her which made Aunt Zahara cry even more.

“We wish the best for our son, dear.” Uncle Hendra stroked his wife's hair. I could only stand by them quietly.

Today we were supposed to find a book together, and Hadi picked up her sisters and drove Clarissa home. While I picked up my sister, then went home to the apartment. Just like the days before. Everything changed because of this accident.

No. gabe. This wasn't an accident. The car accidentally hit Hadi. He had calculated the time of the accident. Therefore he crashed right on the part where Hadi was sitting. Bruising all over his right side of the body was the impact of the collision.

“Who wants to hurt Hadi, Uncle?” I thought about that strange accident. “What happened this was not an accident. It's an assassination attempt. The car that hit Hadi did that on purpose. Then they also kidnapped Clarissa.”

“What? Did someone kidnap Clarissa? You mean, Clarissa was also in the car with Hadi?” asked Aunt Zahara who looked at me and her husband with a questioning look.

“Iya, Aunt. We went to the bookstore together. After the accident happened, I immediately checked their situation. But only Hadi was in the car,” I said worriedly.

“Honey, the people who are escorting them will save Clarissa, ‘kan?” tanya Aunt Zahara was half demanding. “They know where he is and will help him soon, ‘kan?”

For the first time, Uncle Hendra looked frustrated. He no longer behaves as calmly as he did. He let out a long sigh, I immediately knew that something was amiss. “They're going to change cars to outwit the man escorting Clarissa and Hadi. The accident was well planned, so the road they were taking was deliberately blocked so that no one could follow them.

“When they caught up with Clarissa by following the signal from her necklace and bracelet, the two objects were in an empty house. All the clothes up to the shoes he was wearing as well as the bag containing his phone, wallet, and college book were in that house.” Now I understand the meaning of that expression. Oh, dearGod. Hopefully they give him a change of clothes and don't make him out there without clothes.

“What do you mean, baby? If the necklace and bracelet that contained the tracking device were removed, then we would not be able to find Clarissa. B-how did they know?” ask Aunt Zahara.

“He is a bad guy. He must have suspected that we would protect Clarissa as hard as we can so we never lose her again.” Uncle Hendra looked at the two of us in turn.

“Then, no one knows where Clarissa is now?” I asked heavily, worried about listening to the answer. And Uncle Hendra gave the response I feared. With a face of despair, he nodded his head.
