For the first time, I did not immediately rest after taking a shower and changing clothes. Colin's been seriously working on the script, I don't want to miss. Reducing my sleep time won't make me sick, so I can do my research at night and focus on working from morning to evening.
I keep all my script files in an online folder. While accompanying the interns, I was able to continue the initial chapter of my research while they were self-study. This was a good idea, although the fatigue I felt doubled.
The manager liked the suggestion Clarissa had told me the night before. He promised to discuss it with his superiors, then tell me the results. I mentioned Clarissa's name as the one who brought the idea to me. He nodded with a smile.
“Hadi, can we talk for a minute?” ask Harder when I'm filling the glass in the kitchen. I looked at him and waited for him to continue. He looked to the left right, then closed the kitchen door. “It's about Clarissa,” she said a little nervously.
Hm. Looks like the girl didn't exaggerate her story yesterday. “What's with Clarissa?” I asked him to see he wasn't making his point.
“You don't mind if I approach him, ‘kan?” tanyanya carefully.
“Everyone can be nearby,” I said pretending not to understand the sentence.
“I don't mean it. I-I like him. You and him have no special relationship, so I can approach him, ‘kan?” tanyanya.
“Do you know who he is?” my question is full of search.
“Of course. His photo has filled the news in the big media. He's the grandson of a great businessman who was once lost and rediscovered. But, Hadi. I like him not because he comes from a wealthy family,” he said in self-defense.
Oh, huh? His eyes twinkled about Clarissa as the granddaughter of a big businessman and he twitched by saying isn't that why he likes her? How dare he try to fool me. “Not many know this, because he is an apprentice. Sorry, Hardcore. Clarissa is my boyfriend. He is no longer alone.”
“Really?” he was skeptical. He looked at me carefully. “Clarissa didn't say that she already had a boyfriend.”
“Try you ask him again.” I patted her shoulder. “I still have a lot of work to do. See you later.”
Before he asked the next question, I walked out of the room into my room. I immediately sat on the chair as soon as my legs felt limp. Stupid me. What did I just say? Why can't I keep my mouth shut and say those words again?
If Harder ever asks Clarissa, I'm dead. He won't let me go again. What the hell am I thinking? Why did I tell him to ask Clarissa directly? Stupid me. All this because we were together for so long that I could not distinguish between logic and momentary feeling.
In order to avoid Clarissa, I immediately walked out of the marketing division room as soon as the working hours were over. There was a new message from Dira in my phone inbox, but I ignored it. He took dinner with his friends. I'm sure one of her friends must be Clarissa.
From Mr. Abdi, I know that the ones at home are Mama and Adi. Papa will be home after his meeting with his business colleagues is over. As long as there is no Dira, then I will be safe at home. Mama won't have time to bother me, because she's busy with her new novel project. Moreover, the material regarding Clarissa's testimony is complete.
“How was your school today, Adi? Are your teachers and classmates being nice?” ask my mother to my sister.
“Iya, Mother. Thank you to Hadi and Dira. They all hoped I would become the brightest student they were.” Adi raised his eyebrows towards me.
“Zach also often complains about the same thing.” Mama laughed a little. “Not your sister's fault if the school thinks they have achievements to be proud of.”
“Kak Hadi has always been ranked the highest-rated student, Kak Dira a famous teen model, then what can I be proud of myself, Ma?” tanya Adi humbled. Seeing her sad pretend face made me almost put my spoon in her direction.
“You are an e-sport athlete who has won several championships at the city level, even nationally. Stop assuming you have nothing to be proud of. Your times have changed greatly. You can ask Zach. Your grandparents never allowed him to play video games. He never got a low score. You are lucky,” said Mama.
“Again if other people can not see your advantages, is your family not enough? We all know your greatness.” My mother smiled proudly. “Your brother only has savings that are less than your savings.” Mama glanced at me.
What I love about Papa and Mama is that they never dictate to us to do what we like. They let us know many different areas and gave us everything we needed to work on our hobby. I finally like the blocks that I can stack into anything. Dira with his natural attitude in front of the camera. Then Adi who could not blink saw the online game that Colin showed him.
The burden that Papa and Mama put on my shoulders has never weighed on me. With pleasure, I am willing to be a role model for my sisters. They also never listen to what people say about the way they educate us.
I know that there are some mothers who mock the hobby of Adi which is considered a waste of time. Their opinion did not change and Adi never won the presidential trophy in national e-sport competitions. If only they knew that his hobby was making more money than their monthly money.
Hearing the knock on my door, I let her in. “Hai, I have good news for you.” Papa waved a pamphlet that he was holding. “Xavier sent this by email. There is a scholarship offer that you can apply for at one of the universities in the UK. Registration is not yet open, but you can see all the requirements and prepare yourself.”
I immediately received the pamphlet. “Thank you very much, Pa! I-this is what I'm waiting for!”
“Xavier and his family are ready to help you during college. They are also ready to help you adjust to orientation times,” Papa said proudly. “I can't believe, you will soon graduate and continue your studies.”
“I don't believe it either, Pa. Do you think I'll be able to get this scholarship?” I doubt a little. “I'm sure I have many rivals from different countries.”
“Don't think about the cost, Son. I can still afford to pay for your college. Just for a year, it's not a big deal. Importantly, you come back and do the thing you love once you replace me.” Papa patted my shoulder.
“What I like? Doesn't Papa want me to lead the company the Papa way?” many confused. The company has been under Papa's leadership for almost twenty years. How can Papa expect what he has achieved to be changed when I take the lead?
Papa laughed a little. “When did I ever say that? Everyone has their own way of leading. Your grandfather never asked me to be like him. I know this burden is very heavy for you, I feel it too. But I want you to be yourself. Our company will definitely change color once it moves into your hands. I don't mind. I'm sure, Grandpa won't mind either.”
“Succeeding the previous program is easier than doing a completely new thing, Pa. What Papa said earlier was even more frightening to me,” I said with trepidation.
“You can give up your rights to Dira or Adi. Any one doesn't matter to me,” Papa said casually. I pouted hearing it. “I know you must mind.” He laughed while patting my back.
I watched the pamphlet for a moment. “Hm. Can I share this information with Clarissa? What do you think Uncle Xavier would mind if their burden increased by one person?”
Papa looked at me meaningfully. “Clarissa? You want to study with him in England?” He laughed happily. “You will definitely jump happy to hear this news.”
I immediately held his hand as he walked towards the door. “Papa don't misunderstand. I'm just asking, not taking him to college with me.” Why did I get a tongue sprain twice? What am I really thinking?

Meanwhile in a house~
“Sial!” Valeria closed the door of her room hard. He swept his gaze around her. “Where's Hadi lately? Why didn't he come to college? She cares a lot about her studies, but why hasn't she submitted her script to her lecturer yet?”
The door to his room was knocked. “Valeria? What the hell's going on? You okay?” ask a woman.
Valeria took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. “Iya, Mother. I'm fine.” She opened the door and her mother immediately went in to check on her condition.
“What's up, son? Lately you have been feeling stressed. Did your instructor make your script difficult? I can come to the campus and talk to him,” his mother said.
Valeria grinned. “Mama what do you want to talk to my lecturer? Do you want to give your body the way you did in my teacher's room? Mama couldn't offer money. We have nothing because Mama killed my papa!”
