He's The Unaffordable

He's The Unaffordable
Chapter 103 - Congratulations

I rode my motorcycle carefully to a large, high-fenced house. A security man smiled as he opened the gate automatically with a button on his guard post. I gave him a box of bread, and parked my vehicle near the porch. Mr. Abdi was already standing there waiting for me to come in.

“Good afternoon, sir,” my broom and give him a box of bread.

“Good afternoon, Sir. Madam is in her room, I'll call in a minute.” The man closed the door behind me.

“No. I came here to meet Dira,” my error. He frowned, glanced at the bouquet of flowers I was carrying, then nodded slowly.

“Please wait in the front room, I will tell Miss.” He turned his body and walked towards the back of the house.

I walked towards the front room and waited for Dira's arrival patiently. I took a deep breath and took it out slowly. I did that many times to help calm the pounding of my hunting heart.

Bu Yuyun came to serve me some snacks and cold drinks. He allowed me to enjoy it. Things I won't refuse. Filling my stomach and releasing my thirst was not able to reduce my nervousness. I don't know why I feel this way. The one I'm going to meet is Dira. The girl I've known since I was five.

The door opened again, and this time it was the girl I was waiting for who came. I stood up while holding the bouquet. He was just standing by the door with both of his hands crossed in front of his chest. After the last incident at the airport, I thought our relationship was better. Turns out I was wrong. He's still mad at me.

“Said Mr. Abdi, you want to meet me. What's up?” ask her in a dislike tone.

“I heard the good news that you passed, so I want to congratulate.” I looked towards the bouquet I was holding. “This is for you.”

“Put it on that table. Later Bu Yuyun will arrange it in a vase. Is there any more?” tanyanya was impatient.

I was at a loss for words, for indeed the purpose of my arrival was only to congratulate me. “No. No more.”

“Other times, you can convey your message to Mr. Abdi. The flowers can also be placed on him. Don't call me down from the room just to hear that one word.” He looked at me sharply. “It applies to other congratulations. Do you understand?”

“What's wrong with you?” many confused.

“What do you mean what's wrong with me?” He asked back.

“You were so nice to me the last time we met. Why are you back to acting like this? Have I made any new mistakes again?” many confused.

“If you think I'm going to get stuck just like Wyatt set Charlotte up, then that's never going to happen. You and I have a different case. I'm not coming back to you, Colin. So, don't see me again. Don't bring me flowers. Also don't be sweet to me,” said Dira sharply, making me even more confused.

“What do you mean? What is the relationship between Wyatt and Charlotte with my good intentions? I just came to congratulate you. No other means?”

“No other means? You have no intention of persuading me back to you by doing this?” challenge him with a bored expression.

“You've known for a long time that I want us to get back together. But that doesn't mean all the things I do for you are just for that purpose. I sincerely congratulate you.” I try to keep my emotions from getting into a fight with him.

“For what do you want us to get back together?” suddenly tanyanya. It was so sudden that I was silent for quite a while before I could answer it.

“Because I want us to get married like we originally planned,” I replied honestly.

“Why do you want to marry me?” ask for a second after I finish answering.

“Because I want to live with you, do all our plans that we've put together, grow old with you like our two parents.”

I looked at him confused. “Isn't that all we've always discussed? You work, I work, and we support each other whatever our partner wants to do. I don't forbid you from a career in modeling, nor do you allow me to pursue my hobby. Whenever we are ready to have children, we will have two children. No children are no problem either. We're gonna live in this town, not far from our family. What is less?”

“You still don't understand too, huh? There's one very important thing that hasn't been in your plans, Colin. I know I shouldn't have expected much of you.” He turned his body and walked out of the room.

I put the bouquet on the table and followed it. “What do you mean talk like that?” I chased him, he walked up the stairs. “What is one very important thing that is?”

“It's your job to find out. I won't answer it. You better not follow me to my room or I'll complain to Dad.” He climbed the stairs quickly.

“Tasks? Are you still discussing things that are lacking in our relationship?” I just don't believe it. “I tell you now. Our relationship is perfect, nothing less.”

“I'm sure only you think so. Have you asked your family? I'm sure your parents and brother agree with me. Yes, ‘kan?” his challenge. I groaned with annoyance, because he was right again. “I've guessed.”

Dira headed towards the right part of the corridor and entered the first door on the right. I growled with annoyance as he closed the door in front of my face. I walked towards the second door on the right. After taking a deep breath, I knocked on it. There was an inside answer that let me in.

“What happened between Wyatt and Charlotte that made Dira so mad at me?” ask Hadi as soon as I close the door to his room again.

“You are still not friends with him on social media?” He answered me with a question. Then he lifted and waved his tablet at me.

I had to get close and sit next to him on the soda. I received the tablet and typed Wyatt's name into the search field available on one of his social media pages. The profile picture answered my question. His cheeks and Charlotte clung with happy smiles adorning their faces.

“Basic male showman,” umpatku slowly.

“Hey, put down my tablet before you throw it.” Hadi pointed at the thing I was holding with his eyes. “Papa won't want to buy me a new gadget if it breaks.”

“What is your sister coming for months, so she is sensitive so?”

“Ukh, Cole. Do you think I'm a girl who talks about something as personal as my sister? Don't you see I'm a man?” Hadi put on a disgusted expression. “Indeed what did you do to him until he got mad at you?”

“I just congratulated her on her graduation and gave her a bouquet of red roses. That's still her favorite flower, ‘kan?” confused say.

“Maybe you are right. She is coming month.” Hadi shrugged both of his shoulders.

I sighed softly, then looked towards the book she was reading. “Preparation for seminar tomorrow?” aska I want to know.

“Iya. How're you? Is there good news?” he asked without lifting his head from the book in his hand.

“I'll seminar on Wednesday.” I smile with pride.

Hadi raised his head so he could see me. “Congratulations, Friend. You lucky to get a schedule that fast? I'm being unlucky for bumping into the weekend.”

“Try guessing who else will advance the seminar on Wednesday,” I said mysteriously.

Hadi looked at me for a moment. I smiled meaningfully. “Don't say Valeria. I don't need any news about him. But I'm happy because he seems more interested in approaching you. Hopefully it continues to be. You and Valeria seem compatible.”

The door to Hadi's room was suddenly opened from outside without being knocked. “Valeria? Who's Valeria?”
