I took a deep breath and took it out slowly. I don't know what's going on until Colin and Uncle Will deal with the police. Colin just said that he would tell me everything later. Later, when? Next month? Next year? We haven't seen each other for more than a week and I miss it a lot.
“Sister, eat politely. The plate should not be hit with a spoon and fork,” said Adi Bawel. He did not stop bothering me.
“Can you focus on playing games only?” I looked towards the door. “Papa and Mama to where until now have not come home too?”
“What's up? Brother want to ask about Aunt Gista to Papa? Why don't you call Colin and ask him yourself? We're still chatting through the game.”
“Oh, yes? Whereabouts? Where?” I'm just impatient.
“Not now.” Adi blocked my hand from touching her phone on the table. “He's offline. Usually he plays rather late at night, but he more often lets his character play automatically without him having to control.”
I sighed loudly. “You boys are the same. Insensitive.” I continued my meal. The sooner I finish eating, the sooner I can get back to the room.
“Goodnight, Sir,” greet Pak Abdi who opened the door for Kak Hadi. Brother greeted us, then sat down next to Adi.
Remembering what happened today, I smiled. His face was pouting so surely because he had been with Clarissa all day in his office. “How is work today, Brother?”
“Do not ask. You guys must have planned all this,” he said exasperatedly.
“Clarissa's internship at Papa's office was a long-standing plan, sister. When Brother and he broke up, everyone thought of the best plan to reunite you guys,” Adi said. I kicked her foot under the table so she turned her head towards me. “Kak Hadi already knows, Brother. I'm just clarifying,” he continued in self-defense.
“I don't understand. What's so hard you can forgive Clarissa? She's a good girl. Yes, he made a mistake, but everyone did too. Just look at me and Colin, and Charlotte and Wyatt. Our relationship was much better after going through a big storm,” you didn't understand.
“Little children do not need to interfere in adult affairs,” replied Brother indifferently.
“Adult person? Our age is only three years. I've been eighteen, brother. Not children anymore,” my protest.
“Do you know what English teenager? Teens. You know what that means, ‘kan? Dozens. You are eighteen years old. So, yes, you are still a teenager aka children,” ridicule. “Still a dozen years but want to get married next year. Just-there's.”
“Diih, I have a future why is Brother protesting? After all, Colin and I will continue to behave as usual. We just stayed together so we wouldn't have to live apart anymore. If you have met the right person, you will do the same. Don't want to be far away from him,” I said as I blinked one eye.
“Hah! I don't have time for love. There was a huge responsibility waiting for me when I graduated from college. Then I also need to continue my studies to equip myself.”
This is what I love about my brother, as well as my spirit giver. He was always serious about the responsibility that Papa had placed on him. Unlike some model friends I know who are also the children of wealthy businessmen. They prefer to pursue their own dreams and let their parents find their own replacement.
Papa or Grandfather never forced Big Brother to be the main successor leading our family company. But they diligently take him to the office, see the factory, check the warehouse, also discuss things that have to do with retail business. Me and Adi were also invited along, but I would rather try on all the clothes and wander in front of them.
Over time, Brother was interested in becoming like Papa and Grandpa. Their hard efforts to prepare Brother also succeeded. But Brother is growing up faster than his age. He is not a young man who is fun to have fun with. He always thought seriously. The only time I've ever seen Brother so casually was when he was still with Clarissa.
“Hai, kids!” greet Mama who is standing in the doorway of the living room where my two brothers and I are watching television. “You haven't entered a room?”
“We waited until Mama and Papa came home,” I replied. “Papa and Mama from where?”
Mama turned towards Papa who nodded slowly. “We're from Will's apartment and have dinner with them.” Mama sat on the couch by our side with Papa.
“I went to your papa's office, so we all went there together, baby. There are things you need to hear from Colin. Not from us.” Mama stroked my hair. “She won't like to see you coming with us tonight. You are patient, yes.”
“Cole won't even tell me anything. Is the problem that heavy, Ma?” ask Kak Hadi full of search. Mama nodded slowly. “Good, I understand.”
Brother understands his best friend's decision, but I don't. But forcing Papa or Mama to tell me what really happened, they must have refused. I can persuade them to open their private secrets, not with the secrets of others.
Our conversation was cut off when the door opened, and then Yuyun's mother came in carrying a tray full of drinks. Sita followed by bringing a plate filled with bread. As soon as I smelled the scent, I immediately knew that the drink in the cup was ginger tea.
“We plan to take you on vacation this weekend. It's just us. Before you start entering school and campus,” said Papa who stared at us one by one. “How?”
The three of us nodded in agreement while busy with tea and bread in each other's hands. “Where are we going on vacation, Pa?”
“Yang is close. To villa. We can culinary tour again by eating him your favorite place or trying a new place,” suggested Papa. I can imagine the fun of the holiday. “There are terms.” Papa looked at me. “Cannot have too long communication with outsiders. It was a family event, so there shouldn't be long hours of cordial phone with a girlfriend.”
“Why am I the only one given that rule? What about Adi who likes to play games?” my protest does not accept being treated unfairly.
“He can play games as long as he does not stare at the screen for hours,” Papa replied casually. Adi stuck his tongue out at me. So annoying.
After we finished discussing our short vacation and finished all the snacks that night, we headed to our rooms. I felt lonely when I was in my room alone. I can't be like Charlotte going into her sister's room. Both my brothers are men. Mama used to allow me to sleep with my sister occasionally, but by the time I was a teenager I could no longer.
Accustomed to making video calls with Colin until I fell asleep, I lost him. Hoping on Black and Gold was useless as well. Both dogs prefer to sleep with their siblings. Though the person they noticed was not concerned with their good intentions.
Hearing the sound of things vibrating on the nightstand, I jumped in surprise. I immediately picked up my phone and read the name on the screen. Colin! “I'm really mad at you.”
He even laughed. “Is that how to greet your future husband properly?” goda. I'm just pouting. “I'm sorry, baby. I promise I'll tell you everything. Tomorrow I'll go with you wherever you go, okay? How?”

Moments before~
Colin felt his heart pounding, but it did not disturb his focus while driving. Road traffic at night was already idle, so he could drive at a higher-than-normal speed.
Will does not reprimand or ask him to reduce his speed, as he also wants them to be able to arrive at their destination soon. His finger did not stop patting the phone that was in his grasp. His heart did not calm down before he could meet his wife again.
“Are you sure Mama wants to come home with us tonight, Colin? Mama didn't say anything about your offer,” Lily said worriedly.
“At least we've tried. Mama has the right to refuse or accept our good intentions,” Colin said casually, covering up the same worries he also felt.
Entering a housing estate, Colin slows down the speed of the car. His worried face turned relieved when he saw Gista standing in front of the fence of Kenzie's house with his grandparents. He stopped the car in front of them. Will got out of the car first.
“Honey,” he said with a happy face. Gista kept a serious face and kept her husband at a distance. He looked at Colin and Lily in turn.
“Come, Ma. We go home,” take Lily hopefully. Mama did not reject my sister's hand that held her hand, but she did not smile yet.
Gista let out a long breath. “I will only go home with you after Will answers a question I honestly.”
