He's The Unaffordable
Chapter 172 - Accepting What It Is

Tues. We haven't even twenty-four hours officially back together and she's already with another woman in a room. I couldn't get angry or ask, because he himself couldn't remember what happened to them behind that door. Why do problems always come in our relationship? What am I supposed to do now?

I love Hadi so much and parting with him will be more painful than facing problems together. I don't want to be away from him anymore. But what if the woman comes and asks him to take responsibility? I had to take him off again.

“Who is that woman? Do I know him?” askaku. He answered no. “So, he is your old friend from school?”

“Not. I don't know who's sleeping with me. Because when I wake up, I'm alone.” Shut up, then sighed softly. “I am a fool. How can I not know what I eat and drink to sleep so.”

“Someone must have put medicine in your food or drink where you met Colin. You used lunch break with him, ‘kan?” help me find out what happened.

He assented. “But there wasn't a single person I knew in the cafe. Neither I nor Colin ever left our seats.”

“Can be the waiter who makes the drink or food that does.” I lifted both my shoulders. “Who do you think has bad intentions towards you?”

“Honey, there are many young girls to old women out there who want to marry me. The list is too long to be traced one by one,” said Hadi frustrated.

“Then, you still have one last way. Check the CCTV of the hotel where you are. They must know who brought you there,” I said making a suggestion. “I know you have no authority to do that. But Om Hendra can.”

I suddenly kissed my cheek. “You're the best, baby!” He moved to do something, but I don't know what. “I'll call Papa and—” He suddenly fell silent.

“What's up, Hadi?” many wonder. He stopped moving, but also did not say anything. “Do not just be quiet. Tell me, what do you think?”

“Papa must have known what happened. He deliberately let me confuse myself. But who set me up so that Papa would just shut up?” Hadi sounds serious. “I'll talk to Papa now. Until tomorrow, yes, dear.”

I immediately held his hand when he intended to stand up. “You have plenty of time with Om Hendra later. You've come here, don't leave so soon,” my door is half persuaded.

“Alright, dear.” He sat back by my side. I hugged her arm so she couldn't leave. He's laughing a little. “I almost forgot. What about us? Do you mind if I sleep with someone else?”

“I really mind, but you didn't plan it.” I took a long breath. “I don't want us to part again, Hadi. You have proven your love by accepting me for who I am. I don't want to lose to you. If the woman dares to come and ask you to take responsibility, we will report her to the police.”

“Report him to the police?” ask Hadi confusedly. “At what charge?”

“Darling, do you not understand what is happening to you?” I asked back. He just kept quiet. “If a woman is experiencing what you are experiencing, what do you call it?”

Long enough, he just kept quiet. I waited patiently for him to answer. Then I heard him laughing in surprise. “No, Rissa. What do you mean, liken me to a woman? No. gabe. That's not what happened to me.”

“Male and female alike, dear,” I said gently, keeping from hurting her self-esteem. “Not only women can be raped, men too. Already many cases, but the victim who does not want to report with a reason of shame.”

“You don't talk carelessly.” Hadi took his hand off me. I held back by clasping her hand tightly.

“Hadi, you don't need to feel ashamed. Women or anyone else they should be ashamed of. He and his partner have given you sleeping pills, then hooked you when you were unconscious. Honey, those who should feel guilty, not you.” I tried to convince him that he was not inferior, because of it.

Hadi just kept quiet. I couldn't see his face, so I didn't know what he was thinking. I held up one of my hands and looked for her cheek. A hand held it, blocking me from doing my intention earlier. “If he dares to show himself in front of me someday. Please, don't stop me from hitting him in the face.”

“No. I'll do it. You should not give him any more satisfaction by touching any part of his body. Let me teach him a lesson,” I said firmly. “Then we leave him to Om Zach to be punished as much as possible.”

We both just kept quiet. A moment later, Hadi hugged my body. He just shut up, didn't talk. But he didn't have to say anything, I knew what was going on in his head. What a crime they did to him. Hadi is a man of high self worth. This incident not only hurt his feelings, but also his pride as a man.

She refused to have dinner with us, so I didn't hold her back. I was happy to be with him for a while. He must be willing to discuss with Om Hendra and think about the steps they need to do next. I can't help him with my condition, let alone my vision hasn't recovered properly.

I can come back with Hadi is not an easy thing. I'm up and down fighting for what we have now. Once he used that dirty way to get the attention of the young man I love. Hadi is an honorable man, not a criminal.

The wounds that came from his voice haunted me. I shouldn't have said that, but it's better that she get hurt now so that I can be her back. He needs to know that what happened to him was a sadistic crime. He has been harassed beyond his will.

His busy work, completing the thesis, and watching me must have made him not aware of the bad things that had happened to him. He did not even think that he could know who the culprit was by checking the CCTV in the hotel lobby. Like it wasn't Hadi I knew. Poor him. I don't know who did evil to him.

“Clarissa?” I heard someone's voice on my right side. He immediately sat by my side. “What's up? What happens until you cry?” charlotte asked in a worried tone. “Did you and Hadi fight again? Is that why he won't have dinner with us?”

I shook my head. Charlotte used something soft to wipe away the tears that had soaked my cheeks. “A-I'm afraid of losing her, Charlotte.” I sobbed.

Feeling her embrace me, I returned her embrace. “Did Hadi do something so you cut off your relationship again?” He rubbed my back.

“No. We are still together.” I let go of my embrace. “I can't tell you what happened. But you will know it soon.”

“I understand. Your relationship with Hadi is the business of both of you, I will not force you to tell me everything.” He caressed my cheek. “There's something Grandpa needs to tell us all.” As soon as Charlotte said those words, I realized that there was someone else in my room besides my sister.

“Grandpa?” ask while extending my hand. A shadow approached, but feeling the hand that returned my helping hand, it did not belong to Grandpa. “Grandmother.”

“Iya, darling.” Grandma sat on my left. “We checked what happened to you yesterday via CCTV in front of your room. You didn't fall because of your carelessness. A servant of ours who pushed your wheelchair until it slipped at the top of the stairs.”

Meanwhile in a house~

“Where is Papa, Ma?” ask Hadi to Zahara who just sat alone in the living room.

“To the toilet,” replied Zahara while looking carefully at her son. “What's up, son? Why do you look worried? Did something happen again at Clarissa's house?”

Hadi shook his head. “No, Ma. Rissa is fine. I need to ask Papa.” something very important

“What questions?” asked Hendra who entered the room casually. He sat down next to his wife and placed his hand on the back of the sofa.

“Papa already know what happened in that hotel room,” said Hadi half-accused. “Why did Papa just shut up and say nothing to me?”

“The woman was silent and did not show herself to you until today. He must have had his own plan. I was also silent for the same reason,” replied Hendra calmly. “I didn't tell you to follow his plan.”

“So, what really happened, Pa? Who's that brash woman?” urged Hadi.

“You will know when the time comes. I don't want their plans to just break down. I need all the evidence and confessions to imprison them,” said Hendra who declined his son's request. “Crust me, Son. I will not hurt you intentionally. You will know everything in time.”

“Do you know what Papa is betting on? My relationship with Rissa. He already has a lot of problems, I don't want to burden him with this. Please, Pa, tell me. What happened in that hotel room.” Hendra only speaks a thousand languages.

“Honey,” said Zahara coaxed her husband. Hendra still shut his mouth.

“Egoist father! All Papa thinks about is himself. What about me and Rissa?? Does Papa not care about my death? What if it turns out that the woman is pregnant and I am forced to marry her? I was the one being abused, not him. How will I be, Pa?”
