He's The Unaffordable
Chapter 133 - The End of a Drama

“Why do you guys see me like that?” Luca laughed a little. “Do you think for a week in this country I didn't learn your language? It's not just Wyatt who's interested in learning the language of his future wife. Me too.” Luca looked at Clarissa gently.

“I'm not interested in your offer or proposal, Luca. Had enough. How many times do I have to say that Hadi and I are serious about our relationship" Clarissa said.

“He mentioned the last day, then you said you wouldn't let him go. So, my guess is right. You guys just pretended to be dating while I was here so I could back off. I don't need to understand all the words to know what you guys are talking about,” he said arrogantly.

“Is this how the Hudson family searches for their future wife? By forcing a girl who doesn't have any feelings for him?” manya.

“Feelings can be manipulated, Hadi. Don't you know that? Today someone can say love to you. The same person could have said hate the next day.” He looked towards Clarissa. “He said he has no feelings for me now, but if we were as intense together as he is with you, I am sure he would change and say love to me.”

I smiled hearing it. “Hopefully you are lucky to get a girl with that mindset, because Clarissa is not so. Come, darling.” I wrapped my hand around her waist and invited her to sit down with the engaged couple today.

As if afraid of losing me, Clarissa held my hand under the table whenever I was not eating or shaking someone's hand. Maybe that's not the reason? Does he still feel bad? But he himself did not know what the cause was. Hopefully it was just his feelings, because no one would hurt him in his own home.

The peak event of Charlotte and Wyatt's engagement went well. Both Wyatt's parents gave Charlotte their family relic ring, a ring that Wyatt's mother had previously worn. Charlotte was moved to tears when she realized that their engagement was real and was sanctioned by both parties.

“By the time we get engaged, I don't want an event this big. Just between your family and my family is enough,” Clarissa said slowly. I turned towards him and intended to reply, but his hand shut my mouth. “If you want to say something that will ruin my mood, wait until the event is over.” He put his hand away, so I just kept quiet. Because what I'm about to say will definitely make him sad.

Clarissa invited me to come with her while taking pictures with my family. I couldn't resist, because he wouldn't let go of my hand. I don't know who had the strange plan, one by one the Wyatt and Charlotte families distanced themselves until it was just me and Clarissa in front of the photo booth. I was forced to smile so that the results were not bad and obey the direction of the photographer who asked us to pose.

“If you were also engaged today, then everything would be perfect,” said Aunt Claudia who caressed my cheek. “Don't be angry for long, dear. You two are very compatible.”

“Oh, yes, Aunt? Then why is there another young man who will be my replacement?” godaku's. His face flushed as he laughed nervously. He hugged me, then kissed me on the cheek. “I'm not angry. But Clarissa and I won't be back together.”

Aunt Claudia let go of her embrace. “I've known you since childhood, Hadi. I know when you're telling the truth and when you're lying to yourself. You can't lie to me.”

I can't answer that word. Never before had someone other than my papa been able to leave me speechless. Have I lost my ability to hide my own feelings and thoughts? How did Aunt Claudia know?

“This is all because of you,” I told Clarissa.

“What is it because of me?” half the protest.

“Because of this drama, they all hope we will really get back together.” I walked to the front door of the house. “You'd better wait with Charlotte. I need to go to the toilet.”

“You can't just accuse me, then escape without finishing our conversation,” he said who still followed me towards the inside of the house.

“I'm only saying goodbye for a moment, because there's business in the toilet. Would you like to come inside too?” manya. She did not look scared, instead she kept walking by my side.

“This is not my fault. Look, you're the one who refused to do this. You said you'd talk to him. I'm also surprised you finally agreed to use my way,” he said in self-defense. I stopped in front of the toilet door with my hand on the knob ready to open the door. “Please enter. I'll wait for you here.”

“This is my home. I deserve to be wherever I want.” He crossed both hands in front of his chest. “Please enter. I wait.” I don't argue with him anymore, because what he said is true. I entered the room and hurried to finish my business.

Justright. He was still standing where he was when I came out. “I really don't believe this.” I walked towards the front door. “Why don't you become a submissive sweet girl? Why should you argue with me like this? After all, tomorrow it's all over.”

“I don't want to end our relationship,” he said seriously. I stopped my steps. He stopped and stood facing me.

“Not that's our deal. As soon as she gets home, I won't come to see you again,” I said reminding.

“Then I will come to your house. I don't want to break up with you,” the reply won't lose.

I laughed in disbelief. “What we have this can't even be called a relationship, Clarissa. We're just pretending. We do everything according to agreement. Point.”

“I don't want to! I don't want to let go of you, Hadi,” he said stubbornly.

“Why not? You're the one who ended our relationship and asked me to find a better girl. Did you forget? So, what made you change your mind?”

“I-it—” said nervously.

“Clear talk, Clarissa. You have been talking so loudly, why did you suddenly stutter?” my challenger, doesn't want to feel sorry to see him wrestling with himself. He still could not speak, so I passed him and continued my steps towards the door.

His hand held my hand and held me to stop walking. “A-I love you, Hadi.” I was stunned to hear that. “A-a-I love you.”

He finally said it too. After days of trying to say it, he always failed. This time he succeeded. Could it be that he has changed and told the truth that he is no longer the same Clarissa who broke our relationship?

I looked up and saw his face was covered in tears. “Clarissa? Why are you crying? Hey, I didn't mean to hurt you.”

“I never said that to anyone. Charlotte, as well as my grandfather and grandmother never heard that sentence from me. You're the first. I-I love you, Hadi. I don't want to lose you again. You're the first person I've ever loved. You are also the first person to ever say love to me. I beg you, give me another chance,” the door was down.

Seeing her crying even more, I took her to the living room. We could not return to the grounds with his condition still shedding tears. Our family could misunderstand. After we sat next to each other, I grabbed a tissue and thrust it at him. He took out a few sheets and wiped away the tears on both of his cheeks.

“I'm sorry. I didn't think long that day. I think I'm helping you. But after we separated, I felt no relief at all. I've lost you so much. Hadi, I promise to be better. I won't break our relationship unilaterally anymore.” She was still crying when she grabbed my hand.

I can't see him pleading like this. I usually fight with women's tears. But she was crying so sincerely, so I knew she wasn't pretending or using her tears to change my mind.

“Clarissa, love alone is not enough.” I rubbed the back of his hand with my thumb. Her tears were flowing more and more, maybe she understood what I was going to tell her. “I think a lot when we're not together anymore. Luca's right. Today you can say love, tomorrow you might say hate. I need more than that.”

The crying became more and more, I braced myself to continue my sentence. This is a good time to tell her how I feel. “You are very easy to break up without listening to my opinion. I don't want to experience the same thing again. Thank you for loving me, Clarissa. But you are not the future wife I'm looking for.”
