He shook his head. “I don't feel anything different about my body. Whatever impulse you mean I don't feel at all. I seriously. All I want to do right now is strangle Valeria.”
“Then why did Valeria say that to me? If he had nothing to do with the incident at the hotel, why would he act as if there was a surprise you would give me?” I'm getting confused. “But what's he working so hard to get you to sleep and take you to a hotel room when you're not doing anything?”
“It seems I understand why Papa kept what he knew about this incident a secret,” Hadi said softly. He glanced at his watch. “I'd better get to the office. Clarissa's gonna wait for me, so I can't make it overtime. Take care of yourself, Cole.”
I could only watch him rush to his car. He finally understood the reason Uncle Hendra had kept what was happening in the hotel a secret, but my brain had become even more empty. His father was always quick to crack down on bad people. Why is this time different? Uncle never lets a person go free after hurting his child for more than a week.
Charlotte and Wyatt refused to have lunch with us, having plans of their own. So, I'm just alone with Dira. My normally talkative girl was suddenly silent and preoccupied with her own thoughts. His phone which usually has a myriad of interesting things at all he did not take out of his bag.
“What's up, baby? What is troubling your heart?” askaku.
He shook his head slowly. “Agency's state is in chaos. I haven't told you what Mr. Billy told me and Vikal last Sunday.”
“Iya. You'd rather be quiet for as long as we make a video call that night. I thought you were exhausted.” I touched his hand on the table. “What's up, baby?”
“Her secret relationship was discovered by Mr. Billy. His contract was immediately terminated and he had to pay a fine that was not small to my boss.” He sighed softly.
“Then why do you look sad?” I'm still not understanding.
“Pak Billy came to talk to me and Vikal at the audition show I was on. He wanted to make sure that his son did not approach me as well. I am sad to see him hurt,” Dira said softly. “Almost everyone knows what his son did, whereas he doesn't.”
“It's not surprising. Which parent believes that his child will do such a bad thing. Then what did he do to his son?” aska I want to know.

I shook my head slowly, but obeyed his strange request. “Dira is my girlfriend, of course it is my duty to spoil her. You are my sister, so my job is to make you independent. Quickly, find your girlfriend so you can be spoiled as well.”
