The event at Dira school starts at ten in the morning. Hadi and I immediately came to school after we finished exercising together. We didn't play basketball with our usual team, because we couldn't be with them until after lunch.
We stopped by to buy something for lunch at a fast food restaurant. Then enjoy it while watching the school gate Dira. There were many private cars parked by the roadside in front of the school. It seems like the parents or the driver of the students decided to wait until the event was over.
Hadi let out a sigh of relief as officially dressed students started to exit the school gate. We did not see anything suspicious happening during the event. So what we're worried about is not happening today.
But while waiting, Dira and his friends were not seen going out with the other students. Hadi's car driven by Pak Sakti, also Charlotte's car is still waiting faithfully in front of the school fence.
“There's a weird.” Hadi glanced at his watch. “Dira never accidentally waits until school is quiet to get out of class. So, he couldn't possibly wait until the hall was empty to exit the place.” He pulled out his phone and called someone I was sure was Dira.
Pak Sakti and driver Charlotte got out of the car and they simultaneously looked towards the closed school gate. They exchanged looks and started to look worried. I looked towards Hadi who was starting to get agitated as his call was not answered.
“My sister doesn't answer her phone.” Hadi showed me his phone. “I'll try to contact Wyatt. Men are useless. How could he neglect to look after my sister?”
“Maybe they're having fun until they forget time. Because not only Dira and Wyatt, Charlotte and Wendy are also not seen out of school.” My head started to think what caused them not to appear as well.
“Laki-men fuck! He also did not answer my call.” Hadi tried to call Charlotte and Wendy's phone as well. It all ends nil. None of them responded. “I will scold this girl all out and I will convince Papa to punish her as hard as possible. This attitude is intolerable.”
“Is there any other exit from the school other than the main gate?” I asked Hadi.
“Iya. Back door. But the door was never opened. The school opened it only in times of emergency. So, there's no way they're going out through the back door.” Hadi thought hard.
“They didn't come out through the front door. If they don't come out the back door either, do you think they're still in school?”
“I don't know. I'll ask Papa to ask Om Irwan.” for help Hadi brought his phone closer to his ear while walking closer to Pak Sakti.
I turned on my motorcycle and followed him. Seeing Hadi who was angry, I chose not to interrupt or give advice. I was tempted to turn around and look at the back door of the school. But I locked up my intention. If they had gone out through the back door, they would have been far away by now. And I'm not sure they left a trail for us to follow.
“Papa asks us to wait at home. He and Om Irwan are going to find out where Dira and his friends are.” Hadi put his phone back in his bag. “Pak, we'll just go home. I'll be with my friend, the Father who drove the car home, yes.”
Hadi also gave instructions to the driver Charlotte. The man was a bit heavy going home without his employer, but when Hadi called Uncle Ed and gave the man his cell phone, he said. He must have been afraid of being scolded by his master when he came home without their grandchildren.
“I won't calm down if we go home and wait for news at home, Hadi. There must be something we can do to find out their whereabouts.”
“How? I don't know how to infiltrate the CCTVs on the highway or in the shops around the school. That's Om Irwan's people's expertise. Wyatt, Charlotte, and Wendy did not answer their phones. Their guidance is our only hope. Then how else do we have to be? Around town without destination?” ask Hadi.
I couldn't answer because what he said was true. But going home is not the answer. I was just about to say something when Hadi's phone vibrated. He immediately looked at his phone screen, then asked me to calm down.
“Wyatt,” greet Hadi. I was relieved to hear the name called. “OK. Share your location immediately, I'll tell Papa too. No. gabe. Don't do anything. Don't act recklessly. I don't want anything bad to happen to my sister. Okay.”
Hadi kept his phone away from his ear, then unlocked the screen. His phone shook again and he opened the incoming message. Location of Wyatt. He immediately forwarded the message to Uncle Hendra. His phone vibrated again.
“Yes, Pa? No. gabe. The location was close to Dira school, Pa, so we were the ones who would arrive earlier than Om Irwan's team. But, Pa...” He seemed to be arguing with his father.
“I won't wait and do nothing. This is my sister, not anyone else.” Hadi put his helmet back on, then he sat behind me. “Come, we help Dira.”
Along the way, Hadi informs that Wyatt and the two girls are secretly following Jordan who is carrying the unconscious Dira. They waited until they arrived at the location before contacting Hadi. Their phone did not deliberately sound or vibrate so as not to attract the attention of Jordan and his accomplice.
Wyatt takes Charlotte and Wendy, therefore he cannot act to save Dira. When he left the two girls, something bad could happen to them as well. I understand the dilemma Wyatt is facing. After all, she would have preferred to protect Charlotte over Dira. If I were in his position, I would do the same.
But what I can't understand is why he took the two girls with him? Can't they just let Wyatt act alone? He's not a weak man. With his tall and athletic posture, I believe he can protect himself. I also believe he can take care of Dira.
The location Wyatt shared led us to a house not far from the school. Hadi's right. We arrived sooner than Mr. Irwan's confidants. My bike we parked in a safe place so that our arrival did not invite Jordan's suspicion.
“Hadi, Colin! Here.” Wyatt's voice came from behind us.
Hadi and I looked towards the sound. We rushed across the street and approached the three of them who were hiding behind a tree. “What are you doing here? Didn't anyone see what happened in that house? What if they hurt Dira??”
“Sabar, Hadi. Wait a minute.” Charlotte immediately stood between Hadi and Wyatt. “Before you accuse a no-no to us, first listen to our explanation.”
“Exposure? We don't have time for any explanation. We'll talk about this later.” Hadi immediately cut out Charlotte's sentence. “Listen, we should be divided into two groups. Wyatt and Charlotte, you're a team. Me, Cole, and Wendy will be one team.”
“What? No. gabe. I don't want a team with him. Better Wendy be with him and I'm with you guys,” turn Charlotte down quickly.
Hadi took a deep breath before giving a response. “The one inside the house is your classmate. So, if you two were seen together, he wouldn't be suspicious. You are ex-lovers, while Wendy and Wyatt have no special relationship. Do you understand? We don't have much time, Charlotte.”
“OK, okay,” said Charlotte relented. “Say, what should we do.”

Meanwhile inside a house~
Nora glanced at her watch for the umpteenth time. He looked up at the stairs to the top floor. The person he hoped for had not come back down to see him. After sighing loudly, he placed both his hands on the arm of the chair and stood up.
He walked quickly up each rung of the stairs and immediately turned to the right while on the second floor. The closer he approached the door of a room, the louder the sound of two men coming from the closed room. He opened the door and both pairs of angry flaming eyes were on him.
“What are you doing? Is everything done? We don't have much time. Hendra will come to this place once he knows that his daughter is missing!” nora was frustrated.
“I'm trying to get our business done, but this stupid man is preventing me from doing it,” Vivaldo said.
Nora looked towards Jordan. “What is this attitude, Jordan? I think we've agreed to do all these plans. After we got close to the goal, you changed your mind?”
“The plan was for me to approach Dira and make her mine. Then why did this man come into the room and take our photos together?” jordan protest.
“We don't have much time. I'd better finish it all. You take her out of here.” Nora approached the bed where an unconscious girl was lying down. He paid no heed to Jordan's outcry being pulled out by Vivaldo. All he had in mind right now was to destroy Hendra through his beloved daughter.
