“What did I say? They must be surprised to see the change in appearance of Brother,” said Adi who sat on an empty seat beside me.
“Of course they were surprised. I look much prettier with my natural hair color.” Dira combed her hair with her fingers. The hair that was originally brown, just like Colin's hair color, is now shiny black.
Dira is not kidding. He seriously broke off his love affair with Colin. Changing the color of the hair was tantamount to no chance or way for Colin to return to her. This is a real disaster for my stupid friend.
Since they were in elementary school, Dira imitated everything Colin wore. Of course Mama objected. Dira is a girl, not a boy. So that Dira is not disappointed and can still look harmonious with her fiance, Mama bought the same color of clothes that Colin has. So, they still look harmonious despite not wearing the same clothes.
Once Dira became a teen model and got to know makeup, she dyed her hair color the same as Colin's hair color. Due to her pale skin, her new hair color looks a good match and gives her a fresher appearance. Astonishingly, product advertising offers continued to arrive even though her hair color was not natural anymore.
“It looks like whatever color your hair is, it definitely suits you. But with natural colors, you will free your homeroom teacher from trouble,” sly Mila.
“How can you know? My school is weird. They gave me permission to dye my hair for work. Still another teacher sneered at my homeroom.” Dira sat down beside Mila.
“Painting hair for work?” I said and Adi simultaneously, repeating his sentence earlier in a mocking tone.
“The boy dyed his hair so he could be twinned with Colin. The whole world also knows it,” Adi sneer. Mila and I laughed when they heard it.
“Little children do not interfere in the affairs of older people.” Dira turned to look towards Mila. “So, what are you talking about to talk about losing and winning? Are you guys betting? What do you bet? I want to come with.” too
Mila glanced at me. “This bet is confidential. I'm sure Hadi objected if his sister found out he lost to me later.”
“I won't lose,” I said firmly. I looked towards Dira. “What are you waiting for? We should be home soon.”
“We ordered drinks to take home. We leave after they're done making it.” Dira was still looking towards Mila. “Come, answer me. What do you bet? I seriously want to come.”
“Mila bet I would be the first to fall in love with him if, please outline the word if it were, grow love between us.” I answered that silly question.
“Oh, I'm coming! I'm coming! I'm sorry, Brother. But you are sure to lose. So, I bet Mila will win,” cheered Dira as if she had already won the bet.
“Whose sister are you?” I pretend to be offended. I'm so happy to see Dira being herself with Mila. Even with Wendy he wasn't this happy.
“Then, I'm coming too. And I bet on Mila.” I open my mouth when I look at Adi. He just shrugged both of his shoulders. “As a bet, I propose the losers pay our holiday fee to Peak.”
“No. That's a huge amount of money,” I said objection.
“I also disagree. Papa's got a villa at the top, it's too cheap.” Dira smiled cunningly and I squinted at her. “We are on holiday to Bali only. Om Brady and Aunt Dafhina would love to receive us at their inn.”
Om Brady and Aunt Dafhina are the daughter-in-law and daughter of Aunt Darla, one of Mama's close friends. Since having their first child, they resigned from their jobs in Jakarta to open lodging in Bali. Their accommodation is never empty, there are always guests staying there even though it is not a weekend.
“How are you, anyway? The bet must be big. If we go to Labuan Bajo, Papa will definitely pay for all our accommodation. Then Kak Hadi still did not spend a penny. That's not a bet his name.” Dira rolled her eyeballs. “Again we're new from there and I'm tired of going to the beach. I want us to stay in the countryside this time. So, Aunt Dafhina lodging is the best choice. I also miss the atmosphere of Ubud.”
“We will be on vacation together, why did Big Brother determine the location? That's not fair. We have to agree on a new place we can continue this bet,” said Adi objected.
“Ya, already. Come on, let's vote. Who agrees on vacation to Puncak?” ask Dira. No one raised their hands. “Labuan Bajo?” Adi immediately raised his hand. Dira smiled triumphantly. “Bali?” He and Mila raised their hands.
“Kak Mila cheated!” adi protests. “Kakak didn't say anything when Kak Dira proposed the place earlier. Why is Big Brother supporting him now?”
“I'm sorry. But after I considered it, I had enough money to pay for the travel and lodging costs we had on holiday in Bali. If I lose.” Mila looked at me as she put emphasis on the word that. “And also, I've never been on vacation that far with anyone. You guys seem like fun travel buddies, so why not?”
“Do not get it wrong. The three of us are not the only people who will be on vacation.” Dira looked at me meaningfully before she turned her head again towards Mila. “My best friend Charlotte is coming home from America. He's gonna want to come too. You can't refuse him for not accepting the word no.”
“Charlotte? Who is he?” ask Mila confused. Just natural. On Dira's birthday, she gets acquainted with everyone. But none of them were named Charlotte.
“Aunt Lindsey's Grandchild. Do you remember him and Om Edu?” Mila turned her head towards me before nodding her head. “We just sent a message while I was at the salon. He and Aunt Claudia will arrive in Indonesia on Monday.”

Meanwhile in a hotel~ room
A tall, dark-brown, green-eyed man in a black suit wrapped around his athletic body looking at the state of the room he entered. He smiled in satisfaction, then sat down in one of the soft chairs.
“This is only your temporary residence until we get a suitable apartment according to your description. Forgive me for this inconvenience. You came without telling, so we—” said a younger man in a respectful style mixed with fear.
“I'm not complaining about anything, so you can be quiet. I was forced to come because all of you were so careless that my plan almost failed miserably. How could you let that girl meet them? Can you replace all the money I've spent on this plan? You useless fools!”
“Ma-pardon me, Sir. I did everything I could to correct this mistake. If necessary, we will get rid of the girl soon.” The voice of the younger man trembled with fear.
“STUPID!! When did I ever say I wanted him dead!? Ha?? I'm a respectable businessman, so I can't get involved in a criminal act that could tarnish my good name! Get out! You just gave me a headache!” orders the older man with a beaver. The young man did not move in the slightest, but rather kept his head down.
“Inspend him. It wasn't all his fault. Let's just say luck is siding with the girl,” said a man who had been sitting in front of her.
“I pay you to get rid of all luck from his side, and you guys fail. What you deserve for your guilt is not forgiveness, but punishment. You guys failed to keep him from staying somewhere far away, now he's very close to them. Until when should I hear bad news from you?”
“I have other bad news,” said the man sitting in front of him without trepidation.
“She still refuses to accept new jobs?” asked the old man who was answered with a nod. “Offer more money to him. Keep increasing the amount until he wants to receive more clients. Why do something so trivial that you are not becus?”
