The video did not stop there. From the motion of the camera, it seemed like the owner was running towards Clarissa. What you mean is on the screen. The camera shows Clarissa lying on her back with her right leg unnaturally looking. Goddamnit! Instead of trying to help, the owner of this video continues to record Clarissa's situation.
Other students do the same. I don't have to check social media to know what kind of video I've been passing through. Colin and Wyatt tried to keep them away and disperse the crowd was unsuccessful, as their numbers were larger.
“Dira, do you save Om Irwan's number?” ask my sister who is in Colin's arms. He just shook his head slowly.
“My husband saved it. I can find it for you,” said Aunt Lindsey in a sobbing voice. He pulled out a cell phone from his bag, then searched for something until he found it.
“For what number, Hadi?” ask Wyatt to know.
“All these videos must be deleted. Clarissa could be sad to see them focus on recording her situation and spreading it on the internet. They've all gone crazy.” I hit the number on Om Edu's phone screen. Phone number Om Irwan.
“No need to bother, Hadi. Irwan is doing it. All of those videos can't be deleted. There's process. You don't want your om until you get caught by the police, ‘kan?” said Papa who again has acted faster than me.
“Clarissa will enter the operating room. We should go to the waiting room and not disturb other patients here,” said Om Edu. He approached Aunt Lindsey and embraced her.
My brother and friends followed Om Edu, while I approached Papa. I asked if Mama knew the news, Papa replied. But he forbade Mama to come to the hospital. My mom will be emotional and can only cry.
We sat together in the waiting room. There is a television, so there is something to watch. But Papa was busy with his cell phone. Must be a job. I disturbed him by asking him to come to the hospital. Om Edu just stared at the television screen in silence. Aunt Lindsey, Charlotte, and Wendy just kept quiet. Dira sat down by Papa's side, while Colin and Wyatt were near me.
“I'm sorry,” said Wyatt slowly. His face looks sad. “I didn't expect that Reese would do that in front of a lot of people. Me, Dira, and Wendy were still on the second floor when it happened. Clarissa goes first with Charlotte.”
“What happened? Did you guys make Reese mad?” my question does not understand.
“Everything just goes as usual. Clarissa comes by lunchtime. He waited long enough to meet his teacher. The man was teaching at another campus and had just come. So, before going to the office, he invited us to eat together.” Wyatt shook his head slowly. “I just heard Charlotte shout calling Clarissa name and she was already lying on the floor.”
“A-I,” whispered Colin nervously. He cleared his throat slowly, then took a deep breath. “I saw him fall. It kept repeating itself in my head. Horrifically. I know Clarissa can protect herself. Had Clarissa not been surprised, she could have fallen without being seriously injured.”
“Indeed it's Reese's goal. I'm sure he intends to get rid of Clarissa for good,” guess Wyatt. “We discussed you and Clarissa in the lecture hall, being happy with the news. Maybe the student who heard our conversation told him and he was jealous.”
“We met him two nights ago in front of a bakery. I'm sure he's been suspicious of our relationship since that night,” I said reminding Wyatt.
He snapped his finger. “You're right too.”
“I never gave him hope. Why is he trying to attract my attention in this way? If it's for money, isn't his job giving him more money than I've earned for a month? Dira's savings are much more than mine. So, I'm sure he does too,” I don't understand.
“Your family's wealth is enough to be their great hope of becoming your wife, Hadi. How many times do I have to tell you this? All of this has nothing to do with the presence or absence of hope that you give them.” Wyatt sighed loudly.
“Hopefully Reese gets as much punishment as possible. That woman has been making Dira difficult for a long time. It's time he knew that he couldn't do as he pleased without being punished.”
I frowned hearing Colin's words. “What do you mean? Did he just act again? Wasn't he being so nice to my sister?”
My head suddenly dizzy. I refuse to talk about the bad girl again. Mr. Kafin came to our attention by carrying three large plastic bags in his hands. I immediately stood up and took over the three bags.
“You all must be hungry, so I asked Kafin to buy us lunch.” Papa helped hand out the food box that was on one plastic. Colin and I split the contents of the remaining two plastics. We all forget that the meal hour is long gone.
Nearly four hours later, a doctor and two sisters came out of the operating room. Om Edu, Papa, and Aunt Lindsey immediately approached them. Papa forbade us to come along and was asked to sit and wait. Even though I didn't like his orders, I didn't fight back and waited for them to finish talking to the doctor.
Judging from the relieved face of Aunt Lindsey, it looks like the operation went smoothly. As soon as the doctor left, I immediately stood up to welcome their arrival. It was Edu who said what the doctor said. A fracture to her right leg was treated and Clarissa was not allowed to wear it for several months until her bones recovered. Broken bones in his hand have also been installed casts. I shook my head slowly he got hurt that bad.
Colin's right. Clarissa could defend herself, so it wasn't difficult for her to fall the right way without hurting herself. But he was surprised, being pushed from behind so unprepared for the incident. I can't imagine what Colin witnessed with his own eyes. Just looking at the video made my blood boil.
Clarissa's condition was stable, so she was transferred to the nursery. Om Edu chose the best room for his grandson. We took turns to visit him in his room. I deliberately became the last person to be around him long enough.
I could barely see her situation. His right leg and left hand were casted. But what surprised me was the bruises on his hands, arms, and the bump in the middle of his forehead. The doctor said nothing about the wound on his head. Hopefully that means the lump is harmless. If Reese were in front of me right now, I would definitely hit her, no matter that she was a woman.
“Hey, what are you doing? Where is Clarissa who is always ready in every danger situation?” askaku. I knew he wouldn't be able to listen to me. The doctor said he was still under the influence of drugs to ease the pain in his newly repaired bones. “Your situation is very bad. But the doctor said, you will recover quickly.”
His face was so pale that the lump stood out on his forehead. Bruises on both arms are also visible because of the pale color of his skin. He who was usually strong and strong, now looked fragile and weak. My chest hurts so much to see his condition.
I approached and whispered in his ear. “Capable recovery, Rissa. I love you. First love since we were kids. If you want to hear me say this sentence again, get up.” immediately I felt my eyes heat up. Before the water fell, I quickly wiped my eyes. “I can't take long. I'll come back tomorrow. Rest.”
I opened the door of Clarissa's room and immediately closed it again as soon as I heard a scream from outside. Aunt Lindsey is scolding someone using English. I couldn't see it, because Wyatt and Colin's bodies were covering my eyes. Clarissa's grandmother wasn't an irritable person. Who's coming?

Meanwhile in the visiting room a jail~
Finley smiled at the girl who came to see him. He sat down on the available chair, then picked up the phone handle that was nearby. The girl sitting in front of him did the same. Only glass is a barrier. They could see each other, but could not hear the sound without the aid of the tool in their hands.
“May you bring good news. I'm tired of the bad news,” said Finley, who tried his best not to show frustration in his voice.
“Is this how someone who needs help talks, Dad? I am your only hope that you can do anything to keep your favorite girl holy when you are free. Please, give me a little award.”
The man smirked cunningly. “We need each other. Without me, you can't do anything. I can pay someone who is willing to do anything for money. Don't forget that.”
The girl's face immediately turned fearful. “OK. Ii'm sorry. I didn't mean to threaten you.” The girl gulped heavily. “I just want to tell you, the initial plan has worked. The girl has already slept with him, so we are waiting for the result in a few more days.”
“Indeed, when are you going to announce that surprise?” ask Finley interested.
The girl smiled meaningfully. “There will be a big event in the middle of the month. You can watch it on the television available here.” Finley nodded with a satisfied smile.
