Chapter 147 - New Drama

*Hadi*

I didn't refuse when Papa gave permission to come late to the office. He asked me to take Dira to campus. We're one major, so I know which room will be the first room he attended college.

If it could be a few minutes away from that annoying girl, then I would definitely say yes. That's why I drove casually to our campus. Dira looked around as he got out of the car. There are many new faces around us. The new students are my sister. I didn't see Charlotte's car. They also attended this college.

“Come, come with me to my lecture room.” I glanced at my watch. “I don't want to be late for a meeting earlier this week.”

“Many people know me.” He said right. There were some students who looked at him and noticed the face and clothes he was wearing.

“Later also they get used to, then consider you just like other students,” I said casually.

“But I lost fame to Big Brother. Lots of women who like to Sister,” he said half tease me. I glanced sharply. “I can't wait to see what they'll offer me in order to have a one-time date with you.”

“Don't start, Dira. That's not funny,” my protest while continuing to walk towards our college building.

“Of course it's funny. If a level of SMU students they are willing to pay me any amount, how much more will they offer as a student?” He looked around with sparkling eyes. This is why I hate Colin for not taking his girlfriend to college. But I didn't force her, because she had to take Lily to school.

When we arrived at his class, someone said something in Indonesian that was still carried away by a foreign dialect. The owner of that arrogant face I could recognize from afar, because he was on the list of people I should avoid. That way, I can keep my distance whenever I see it.

I turned to Dira who was surprised to see the girl in her class. “You didn't check who your classmates were?” I just don't believe it.

“How do I know he will be on that list? It is only fitting that he learned Indonesian.” he said annoyed. “Destroyed was my hope to live a cool campus life.”

I laughed amusedly. “There is no such thing as a cool campus life. It's only in the movies to outwit all of you.” I patted her shoulder. “Happy enjoy campus life ‘the cool’, my dear sister.”

“Hadi, where are you going? Not accompanying your sister until college is over? You're not worried she'll cry because something's gonna bother her?” Reese stood in front of me, blocking me from walking. “You're so neat. Do you always look like this in college?”

I immediately retreated as she attempted to put her hand on my chest. “Already, Reese. Hadi will never be interested in you. Please ask all the women at the college. Everyone has tried everything. Nothing worked. Not with you.” Dira crossed his arms in front of his chest while standing between us.

“That's good news for me. They didn't make it, because they didn't know what a man like Hadi wants,” Reese said confidently.

“So, you think that you who have never spoken to him two eyes know better what Hadi wants?” A girl's voice came from behind Reese. We all turned our heads and saw Clarissa standing there with Charlotte and Wyatt. “Hai, Reese. I can't believe you're going to a public university. Wouldn't you rather study in an international school?”

Reese looked around nervously. Clarissa continued, “You said Indonesians are low and dirty people, not at your level. You prefer to hang out with people who are from the same country as you. So what makes you here?”

“I-it's not true. I never said that,” said Reese in self-defense.

“If it's not true, you won't be nervous like this.” Clarissa looked at me. “As for Hadi, she is mine. Don't try to get close to him or you'll feel the consequences.”

“Woohoo! That's the new Clarissa I like!” wyatt's cheers were immediately whistling long. “Go, Go, Clarissa! Show everyone who you really are.”

I stared at Wyatt sharply. Charlotte further heated up the atmosphere by clapping her hands and calling for similar support from her lover. The students around us started whispering to each other. This situation cannot be allowed.

“What you did there just now can't be tolerated anymore, Clarissa. I'm not yours. How could you even say it out loud in front of everyone?” I said desperate. This girl really needs medical help. He's gone mad.

“If I'm wrong, why didn't you correct me earlier? Admit it, Hadi. You still love me, then none of this needs to happen. We can have a good relationship like Charlotte and Dira,” he said not to lose. He tried to walk quickly after me.

Seeing her having trouble walking, I reduced my leg speed. “I'm not the inanimate thing you wanted today and you threw away the next day. Stop this madness of yours and find another man to satisfy your thirst for affection.”

“I don't want anything else, I just want you! Why don't you understand too?” he said firmly. “I can and want to learn to be the wife you want, Hadi. Why won't you give me one more chance?”

“We're going to the office, I don't want you to act like kids like this.” I pressed a button on the door to unlock it, then opened the door for her. “Come.”

“Why can Reese be in your department? How did he know you were in college? What does it mean to say that he knows what you want? Are you two close?” tanyanya. Ah, I understand now. He's being jealous.

As soon as he sat down comfortably, I closed the car door and turned to the driver's side. Today has started not well, I am sure there will be other bad things that will follow. I liked Mondays very much. But not anymore.

“You haven't answered my question,” it as soon as I sit behind the steering wheel. I looked at him in disbelief. “I'm entitled to know if you're close to Reese.”

“No. You have no right whatsoever to know my personal affairs. We're just coworkers,” I said firmly. “After all this time you know me, you should not have to ask.”

“I know Reese, so I know. When he wants something, he will get it,” he said with annoyance.

“I told you, I'm not an inanimate object,” I said firmly. He alone cannot conquer me, let alone the woman who once hurt my sister.

“After what he did to me, I can't believe he'll also take you from me.” He crossed both hands in front of his chest. “I won't lose to him.”

Meanwhile in a lecture room~

“It's not the model that always makes you hard?” charlotte whispered to Dira who was sitting by her side. Dira nodded slowly. “Then what is he doing here?”

“I haven't told you yet, because I think what he does is only temporary.” Dira sighed softly. “He likes Brother Hadi. I don't know because of what. When we got home from vacation, she was already waiting with a bouquet of flowers for Big Brother. Of course Big Brother refused and threw him away. He didn't come back after that. I think he's given up. Turns out he even went to college here.”

“Clearissa competitions are many as well.” Charlotte laughed amusedly. “He can lose if there is no other male successor Luca in the campus or office where he interned.”

“You don't mind if your own brother gets kidnapped again?” tanya Dira did not believe.

“Not so I mean.” Charlotte shook her head slowly. “You remember, ‘kan, how did Hadi behave when Luca first met Clarissa at the airport. Well, I'm sure, the same thing will happen again if Hadi feels there is a big rival. Your brother's self-esteem is higher than mountain.”

“Clarissa doesn't have to worry about Reese or any other girl on campus. My brother was never interested in them. But I agree with you. We need to find men who like Clarissa and get hot on their relationship,” Dira said.

“No,” says Wyatt firmly. Charlotte and Dira looked at him with tearful eyes begging for support. “My answer is still no. We can't play around with someone's feelings. If Hadi is indeed for Clarissa, they will find a way to get back together. Trust them. Hadi deserves to be angry, so it's time for Clarissa to show Hadi that she is serious about her feelings.”
