He's The Unaffordable

He's The Unaffordable
Chapter 93 - Rise Again

On the screen of the phone was the latest status Reese who expressed his support for me to get back up after the bad events I experienced. Yeah, that's a good thing. But Vikal was wrong. That's not a strange thing. That's the impossible.

All our co-workers know that Reese doesn't like me, no matter what. I myself also don't remember what caused him to dislike me compared to our other model co-workers. Therefore, never once did his social media status talk about me, and today he has openly supported me?

“What is his soul exchanged with others?” joking Laras followed the amused laughter of the people near us. “After and before the fighting drama in the viral video, he and Dira never spoke well. Someone must have hacked his social media account.”

“Yep. He should have been pleased with the destruction of Dira's reputation. He no longer has a rival in fighting for a new contract of beauty products that have always been his target,” said another friend of ours.

“Oh, yes. Dira's contract expires next month.” Vikal put on a sad face. “She can't continue the contract because it's still time off.”

“If they don't require me to shoot and shoot for a new advertisement, then the contract can be continued, Vikal. I'll be back to work in July. If I can't contract with them this year, there's still next year,” I said casually.

“Reese is also on leave, so this is a golden opportunity for us.” Baras blinked one of his eyes.

“Stop low, Barrel. You got a contract with a famous fashion designer from Paris, I'm nothing compared to you.” Friends cheered seductively at my words.

We talk casually about products that are looking for models, as well as opportunities to explore the world of international models. I'm not interested in the second thing. From the beginning, I jumped into this world just to live my hobby. The money I got was considered a bonus.

Being a model with a national level alone has taken up a lot of my time. It is unimaginable how busy it would be to become an international model. I don't want to be away from my family and friends who live in this city. Being a national model is enough.

Since I was out of the room, then Mama did not waste the opportunity to tell all of our family and friends. Grandpa, Grandma, Om Zach's family, as well as Mama's best friend come to the house. They all gave me support even help to punish the three criminals as hard as possible.

I entrust the decision to Papa. Once again, I asked them that the case be settled out of court. Om Zach disagreed and to avoid a long debate, we agreed to discuss it after I got better.

The day we went on vacation arrived. I checked what clothes I was carrying. Any clothes that are too narrow, short, or open are removed from the suitcase. I protested loudly, but Papa didn't care at all. Mama just shrugged her shoulders unwilling to oppose Papa's decision.

We'll spend a lot of time at the beach, of course I need some casual clothes. What I'm wearing is more polite than what I'm sure Charlotte will wear later. But I lost the argument, so I resigned myself to the contents of my suitcase.

My disappointment with Papa's attitude is nothing compared to what I saw at the airport. The expressions on my face and Charlotte's almost similar. He was disappointed with Wyatt who was also on our trip, whereas I can't believe Big Brother took Colin along.

“This is fair name,” said Kak Hadi who did not care about my protest. “You brought two friends, then me too. When I'm paying for your vacation, you can't invite friends?”

“Sister can invite other Brother friends, why should Colin?” I whispered half, not wanting the cheating young man to hear it.

“My best friend is just him, Dira. Wyatt is a bonus because he's ex Charlotte.”

“I heard you, Hadi. It's good that you call me a bonus.”

“Come, we can go to the waiting room now.” Hadi waved his boarding pass, ignoring me who was still protesting against him. “In the meantime we will enter the aircraft cabin.” He glanced at his watch.

We issued our identification and gave it all to Kak Hadi. He showed all the documents to the officers, and then we went into the special passenger room. Just a moment of waiting, we were already called to enter the cabin of the plane.

“See, Aunt Dafhina sent a car invitation for us!” exclaimed Adi who walked closer to a tourist car that was enough to transport us all. He had absolutely no trouble pulling my suitcase and hers while walking quickly.

“Good day. Mr Hadiyan Perkasa?” ask the man holding the sign that says Brother's name. Kak Hadi assented. “Mari, come with me. Mr. Brady and Ms. Dafhina asked me to pick up Mr. and his entourage.”

“Thank you very much, Sir.” Hadi's sister refused as the man took over the suitcase she had pulled. “It's okay. I can bring my own.”

The men put our luggage and luggage in the trunk of the car, while we the women got into the car. Adi who had gone up first helped us by holding our hands while climbing the stairs of the car.

We took out our snacks and enjoyed each one throughout the road trip to Ubud. This wasn't my first trip to Bali, so I've known almost every road we've been on. So does Charlotte. Only Clarissa seemed interested in seeing everything on the left and right sides of the car.

“Hai! You guys have arrived.” Aunt Daphina welcomed us in front of the entrance of her inn.

“Hai, Auntie! Thank you for accepting our stay here.” Hadi's sister returned his embrace and let the woman kiss both of his cheeks. “Om.” The older brother then shook hands with Om Brady.

“Dira, you're getting beautiful!” praise Aunt Daphina for my turn in her arms. I was wearing a hat and sunglasses, how could he know that I was getting prettier? “I can see you rolling your eyeballs. I'm serious.”

“Alright, Aunt. Thank you.”

“I know what happened to you. Om Hendra has told me to take care of all of you, especially you. So, if anyone, anyone without exception, says something bad about you, tell me or my husband. Whether it's our hotel employee or our son, you have to report it to us. Okay well? I don't want any bullying in our hotel.”

“Good, Aunt.” I smiled happily getting that kind of attention from her.

After greeting each other and introducing ourselves, the couple took us to the back of the hotel. There is a swimming pool with several gazebos on one side. The gazebo consisted of only four large logs as its poles and several small logs on top to support its roof made of plastic. There are curtains on all four sides that are left open by tying the middle to the four poles. Simple and luxurious.

On the floor of the gazebo was placed a soft carpet and a low-legged dining table. So we had to sit on the floor to enjoy our meal. Four to six people can sit on one gazebo. Since we had ten people, Aunt Dafhina provided two gazebos for our group. One is for women, and the other is for men.

When the food was served in front of us, Om Brady and Aunt Dafhina left us to continue their work. Kak Hadi was asked to speak with the receptionist to retrieve our room keys. Our suitcase was delivered by the waiter to one of the rooms, so we could pick it up later. We thank them.

“Wow! This place is so beautiful!” praise Wendy who I'm sure has long refrained from saying that sentence. “Sitting by the pool like this tempts me to swim. Are we going to stay at the hotel or are there any exit plans today?”

“We should rest for a moment. If you want to swim, go ahead. But the afternoon will be exciting if we go around the rice fields, then see the sunset from the top level,” I said giving a suggestion. “Tante Daphina once took me and my family to do it. The scenery here is not as beautiful as from the beach, but there are its own specialities.”

“I like to walk, but if it's too long, I'm not sure I'm strong enough to do it. I'd better not watch the sunset,” Charlotte refused.

“We will not walk, but use a bicycle. There are many bikes that Aunt Daphina has that we can rent,” Adi said chiming in from the gazebo next to us.

“It's much better. I'm coming!” charlotte cheer happy. “I can't wait to explore the great places around this hotel!”
