He's The Unaffordable
Chapter 99 - Our Relationship is Perfect

We spent the last few hours in Ubud with a tour of the Art Market. I bought souvenirs for my family, as did other friends who bought things for their families. Kak Hadi and the men complained of embarrassment every time we returned to the first store that offered lower prices than the next store.

Even though I have enough money to spend on shopping, I don't want to spend it in vain. If with a hundred thousand rupiah I can buy five items, why be satisfied with buying three items?

“Kak! Adi! What are you guys doing!?” pekikku surprised. They looked at me with their mouths full without feeling guilty. “This cake is for us to eat together at home. Not spent here!”

“Only one box, Brother. We promise we will not ask for our part again when we get home,” Adi said with a clear face. The two of them simultaneously raised their index and middle fingers. “We promise.”

I know they'll break their own promises. Brother and Adi never keep the word that comes out of their own mouths when it has to do with food. But I didn't want to argue and decided to walk out of the room.

Just a few minutes in the bathroom, my two brothers had looted a special bag of souvenirs. They had eaten a similar cake on our way back from the market to the hotel. They can't be trusted to keep my bag.

Our luggage was taken care of by the hotel staff, so we stayed for lunch at the restaurant, then went to the airport. Friends had gathered in the dining room at a place already provided by Aunt Daphina and her husband. The couple and their two children accompanied us to a meal.

The breakup became more emotional for me as I remembered my conversation with Aunt Dafhina. He has helped me see my problems from the other side. Also opened my eyes to one thing. There is no perfect relationship. Her marriage, which I originally considered ideal when compared to my parents, turned out to have its own problems.

“What's up?” ask Colin who unfortunately became my linemate on the plane. “You've been staring at my face. Is there anything on my face?”

“You're getting ugly,” I said indifferently.

“And you are getting beautiful,” reply without any hesitation.

I acted like I was vomiting. “I just found out that you are a hobby of combing.”

“I said honestly, it's not a fight,” he said in self-defense. I just rolled my eyeballs, then re-occupied myself with the book I was holding. “Can I ask you something?” I was slow to answer, pretending to be interested in the book I was reading. “Hadi said something strange to me. He said, there is something lacking in our relationship.”

I closed the book, then slowly turned to her. “Sister should tell you that there is something lacking in our relationship first, then you ask me? Have you never realized that there is something lacking in our relationship?”

“You assume that there is something lacking in our relationship?”

“No. I don't assume .. I know there's something lacking in our relationship.” I quickly corrected it. Seeing her confused face, I just shook my head slowly.

“Why didn't you tell me? To me, our relationship is perfect, there is nothing wrong or less,” murmured Colin who seemed to think hard.

“You're serious, Colin? You so easily believe in those two people and ruin our relationship, then you say, our relationship is perfect?” I just don't believe it.

“Dira, I've apologized to you. I also explained why I did it. I didn't do it because there was something wrong with our relationship.”

“There is nothing wrong with our relationship, Colin. I don't want to talk about it anymore, because it's no use. Why discuss a relationship that has been broken up?” I said slowly.

Colin was silent and did not respond anymore, so I was silent as well. I continued my reading, but not a single word entered my brain. Since my head did not stop thinking, how could he not know that there was anything lacking in our relationship?

Yes, we take our relationship seriously. I don't even know why I agreed to her plan to get married one day. But when I was old enough and first felt something different, which only I felt when Colin was near me, I knew that he was the only young man in my life.

I sighed softly as the flight attendant informed her that the plane was about to take off. Two hours of sitting side by side without talking was truly excruciating. Colin closed his eyes and sat leaning back after a while we didn't talk. I don't know if he's sleeping or just wanting to close his eyes. But I lowered the window cover so that his eyes would not glare. I opened the window cover again on the flight attendant's instructions.

My hand that was on my lap was touched, I turned towards that hand. Colin put his hand over mine, not holding it. “I was serious when I said that I didn't mean to hurt you. I regret ending our relationship. But there is nothing lacking in our relationship.

“What I do has nothing to do with believing in that bad guy. I told you I thought I was protecting you and your family. If I knew it would all end this way, do you think I would break our relationship?” ask Colin slowly. “Dira, when you are happy, I am happy. Do you know that when you're sad, I feel the same way?”

He pulled his hand from me and immediately closed his mouth. I saw him holding his breath. His eyes closed and I saw his body tremble. Realizing what was going on, I touched his arm. He immediately distanced himself from me and signaled with his free hand so I wouldn't touch him.

Since I also did not want to make her ashamed by crying in front of the crowd, I followed her request. I don't know why I feel the same sadness. Without feeling it, tears fell down my cheeks. I turned my face towards the window so he wouldn't see it.

“Are you okay?” asked Kak Hadi when we were at the arrival terminal. I smiled at him. “Did Colin say something to you? You two look really ugly.”

I rolled my eyeballs hearing that sentence. “Kakak will also express the same if two hours sit side by side with Clarissa.”

“Clarissa might be so, I don't. He already I assume no.” He shrugged both shoulders casually. I opened my mouth to hear it. “I'm serious.”

“Logger. If I were blind, I could still see Brother not stopping to steal a glance towards Clarissa during our time together,” taunted me.

“You talk as if you're not doing the same thing,” spray it.

“I don't look towards Colin!” I knew that lying to my brother would be useless. But it's better than admit it.

“Do I need to ask Auntie to send CCTV footage in the dining room, lobby, pool and elevator where you too Colin is?” his challenge. I'm gawking in disbelief. “You see him whenever you think no one is watching you. Liar.”

“Oh. I'm gonna put this on Papa and Mama. I remember once that Papa reminded Brother to take care of me and be nice to me. This is not a good attitude,” threatened me.

“Adukan, then I do not want to help you prepare for the university entrance selection,” said Big Brother does not want to lose. I took a surprised breath. “Don't forget, who needs who now, my dear sister.”

When we were all picked up by the driver, Colin was the only one who was picked up by his family. We greeted them for a moment, then headed for our cars. Uncle Will kindly offers Wendy a ride up to his house. Seeing that my best friend was feeling disinclined, Aunt Gista pulled her hand to get into their car.

I met Colin who closed the trunk of the car after putting Wendy's suitcase in. Without saying anything, I just passed her towards our car. Brother walked by my side, then wrapped his hand on my shoulder.

No. gabe. This is not true. I can't go like this. I turned to Kak Hadi and asked him to go to the car first. I turned around and called Colin's name. He who was walking to the door of his car turned his head. I didn't wait so I wouldn't change my mind and hugged her tightly.

“Dira?” tanyanya's confused.

I inhaled the scent of her favorite perfume that I had chosen. I smiled hearing his heartbeat slowly getting faster. It's been a long time since I've been this close to him. “I'm serious when I say it's not your fault, Colin.”

“No. It's my fault.” This time he did not hold back his tears. “I'm guilty of letting you go. Because the man approached you after we broke up ..”

“It's not true. Whether our relationship ends or not, they'll still find a way to hurt my family through me. So, I'm their target. Not you.” I hugged him for a moment when he just kept quiet, then let go. “Peach yourself well.”

“You too,” he said slowly.

I turned around and walked without looking back. The brother who was still standing in his place had opened his mouth to look at me. I was ready to face him and Adi who would taunt me as long as we were on our way home.

With a tired body, tired mind, but with a new spirit, I smiled at Mr. Abdi who opened the car door. I hugged the kind-hearted man who was just standing stiff until I let go of my embrace. Then I hugged Mr. Liando who helped to get our luggage out of the trunk of the car.

“Wait, Miss! You can't enter!” exclaimed one of the security guards who ran after someone who was walking quickly towards us.

“What is he doing here??” asked Adi who stood by my side in a dislike tone.
