Pursuing My Husband's First Love

Pursuing My Husband's First Love
One Heart Two Love

MUSA HAMIZAN POV

After the afternoon break I decided to go home early, I felt bad because since the arrival of Mother-in-law, I was busy with my work. And today I decided to go home, inexplicably short visit.

I intentionally didn't tell Medina to be a surprise to her. It took 30 minutes to get home, but when she saw the alley of Mariam's house, she wanted to see him first.

I finally took a car and stopped in front of Mariam's house. Unlike usual his house was crowded again, it seemed he had reopened his convection. Mariam was a bitch, if I didn't call or send a message she wouldn't have done it first. A trait that makes me curious.

"Assalamualaik." I said to some of the people seen gathering in the open convection room.

"Waalaikumsalam," they answered simultaneously.

"His wedding?" my many.

"There was Moses, in the same Octa, come in."

"Yes, thank you."

I took off my shoes and walked past them. I stole the living room and the kitchen but nil. I tried to knock on Okta's door.

Tok tok!

"Assalamualaikum," I said.

"Waalaikumsalam,"heard Mariam answering my greetings quietly, not long after she heard her footsteps approaching.

"Lho Zan, why are you here? You're not working?" mariam said while confirming her hijab.

"Call Mas" I asked.

"Keep you call me what? Deck?" ledek Mariam while walking past me.

"As much as you want to be called," I replied.

"Okta again bobo, do not be noisy there," said Mariam to divert the conversation.

Finally I asked Mariam who was making drinks in the kitchen. Our togetherness still feels like a dream in my eyes, a beautiful dream that stands on the bitterness of Mariam's life and the sincerity of Medina's love. I am the luckiest man who could have two wives as amazing as they are.

"Mother Medina will be home later in the afternoon, so I'll be home early" I told Mariam.

"Darguably, why just a minute here?" comment Mariam.

"There are still many activities at home" I replied briefly.

"Why did he come here?" ask Mariam

"Before a while, to look at Okta, but .. I'm happy you finally get up and get back to living life, may your efforts be successful."

"Aamiin, I don't want to burden you too much, however Okta is still my responsibility."

I just smiled in response, trying to appreciate Mariam's spirit more, I couldn't immediately force my presence as a backbone for her. Then Mariam served a cup of warm tea in front of me.

"Thank you for trying to think of Okta as your son" Mariam said.

"Okta is lucky for me, I hope I can be a good parent for him, you do not hesitate if you need anything on things related to Okta, I would be very happy if my presence was needed" I said.

Mariam was silent, maybe my words were too much for her, but that's how it is.

"Here you go, don't think too much" I said, ending the awkwardness that was still there between us, I drank the tea Mariam made.

"I'm sorry, I'm still not used to .. Even everything that happens is still floating like a dream, I .. even many times ask myself, whether I should be happy ... or should be sad for your presence again," said Mariam disintegrated.

"Let's know, I still feel what I really feel. I hope you understand, it's not easy for me" continued Mariam with a head down without daring to look me in the eye.

I held Mariam's hand on the table, and I knew she was gathering her courage to admit reality to herself. Mariam flinched but did not pull back her hand, for a moment she looked at me before she finally lowered her head.

"Honestly Zan, when I remember all the memories of us as teenagers, I still feel those thumps. It felt like a butterfly was flying in my stomach, a sense .. that I was trying to forget as you went." I am happy to hear all the expressions of Mariam's heart.

"But .. when I realized our present state, I was still ashamed to bring that past to our present life. I feel unworthy, you are a star .. which I have never really reached, and it is only a coincidence when you pass through the place where I stand, you greeted me before finally going high into space" he said.

"And I'm still naive, just letting my heart get carried away." I understand his point, if he knew that my heart was also long with him.

"In this phase of my life, I have released you sincerely, for to me you are only a star I have never had, I can only admire your light from afar. And .. Now that you're my husband, I don't even dare to take this as a reality" he concluded with a bit of despair, all his words describing how painful his heart was when he had to forget me.

"Alhamdulillah, part of my Mariam has started to return" I said with a smile, hoping she would stop being cruel to herself.

"Never feel that you are unworthy, you judge me too highly, and yet you have flown far higher beyond me."

Mariam began to believe by looking slowly at me, this is my old Mariam, so timid but always firm and full of love in each of her letters. I got carried away without feeling that our distance was very close.

I smiled knowing my hunting, but I kept getting closer.

"Allohumma layyin qolbahu kama laiyanta li hadiid lidaud ...." I said a prayer for Mariam's heart to be open, I deliberately did not say it in my heart so that Mariam would hear it. Then I kissed the top of Mariamku's head, my wife.

'Yes Alloh .. melt his heart, as You melted iron for the Prophet David, ' I asked the Catholic in my heart.

After the Dzuhur prayer and eating together, I immediately say goodbye. The time I have devoted to them I hope has been fair enough based on the situation and conditions. At first it seemed impossible for me to divide my heart like this, but as time went on it became easy in one heart inhabited by two loves.

"Assalamualaik."

Medina was moved to open the door with a bright face.

"Waalaikumsalam, Mas Musa tumben home at this hour?" said welcome.

"Yes Dek, it's said that I want to go home this afternoon as if I take a little time even though I can't help it" I replied.

"Thank you" said Medina happily.

"Where's Mom?"

"For the cooking of Mas, Medina who asked to be taught this cook, let Medina be good and not that - it's mulu menu, Mas Musa already eat?"

"Udah Dek, change clothes first."

After I finished changing clothes, I immediately went out to see my mother-in-law. As long as he's here I haven't really spent time with him.

"Mas Moses, you may ask for time to speak" said the Mother who had been sitting waiting for me in the front room.

"Please ma'am" I replied as I sat on the empty seat opposite her.

"What's up, Mom?"

"Regarding the words of the mother the other day, I want to apologize, if Mas Musa is angry do not vent the same Medina, same mother, all that mother said was purely the fruit of the mind of the mother who was wrong," sorry mother.

"Yes Ma'am, I understand Mother's concern, I apologize to the Mother of the family, for having to give this kind of marriage to Medina, but Insha Alloh I still try to make Mother's daughter as happy as I can and as much as I can, it's been the way like this, we can only resign and rely."

"But .. I still hope Mas Musa really happy Medina, not just words, Medina was naive too innocent, knowing from the past we always keep her and forbid her to date like her friends. Medina had no experience. Mas Musa should make the mother's child happy, and the mother hopes that you will soon have a baby so that my child has more ties and values" said my mother-in-law.

Taking a deep breath, I understand my mother-in-law has not really accepted. Only Allah is capable of flipping through the hearts of men, I am only trying. My mother-in-law's words sounded gentle but demanding.

"But our prayers Mom, me and Medina are still ordinary people, even ordinary households must have problems as spices, let alone our household consisting of 3 heads and 3 hearts, he said, it must be more prone to problems. But ... nothing is impossible, I just try my best, as fair as possible, there must be many shortcomings and errors."

"I'm sorry I can't say Medina must be happy, but my whole body will strive for happiness for my whole family. I hope you bless us and pray for us" I concluded.

"Yes, I'm just asking you to be fair to your daughter" she said. However, I explained that it did not seem to be able to exhaust his worries.

"Insha Alloh, ma'am, I promised myself."

Suddenly Medina appeared near us, it seemed like she had indeed stolen the hearing from earlier. He sat down and hugged his mother.

"Believe Mom, Mas Musa could keep his promises, if Mas Musa denied Medina herself would leave him." Medina's words felt like a guarantee as well as a warning.

"My stupid daughter" said Mother with a smile.

The novelty in front of me just happened. I imagined my responsibility was big and it would not be easy. May I be given a firm shoulder to carry Your destiny O Allaah.

Suddenly the sound of a motorcycle entering the yard. I can guess who's coming.

"Assalamualaik."

Medina stood up and opened the door.

"Getishalight."
