You & Dusk

You & Dusk
Convincingly

Ivan was stunned and occasionally glanced at the woman who was currently in front of him.

"oh yes, I have a greeting." said the woman.

"oh yeah. Is he okay?" reply Ivan.

"alhamdulillah is fine."

It seemed like the two of them had accidentally met in the University Center cafeteria and engaged in a bit of conversation. "i wasn't in your past, I exist now and in the future God willing to be with you." Ivan said to the woman.

Hearing the sweet things that came out of Ivan's mouth, of course, which woman was not impressed by such words.

Because it was enough and did not want to linger together, Ivan and the woman who was his future wife Yana also ended their brief meeting in the campus Central cafeteria.

Although heavy, both must control the intensity of their meetings before marriage. Nothing else and not because they have not been bound in halal ties. Ivan was well aware of it, by which he only answered the questions spoken by Yana without wanting to trigger other conversations.

"thank you, then I go first. Assalamualaikum." Yana said as she stood leaving Ivan.

"waalaikumsalam." reply Ivan.

After Yana slightly moved away, Ivan was startled by Ilham who suddenly called his name. "Buffered?" Ilham.

"waalaikum.. Yes." reply Ivan.

"eh sorry.. Forgot the greeting of the cave." continued Ilham laughed embarrassedly.

"gap papa's. Oh yeah, want to eat?"

"already. Together with those earlier. It just so happens that they're there." Said Ilham while pointing towards his entourage of friends.

"ohs.. Is Arman too?" ask Ivan.

"yes.. Man's.. Armani.. It's Ivan." Shouted Ilham.

"eh join aja yuk bro, the cave deh tractir." continued Ilham to Ivan.

"alhamdulillahop. No papa, I'm full." replied Ivan.

"oh, bro, you said you were getting married? Arman said that."

"god willing to finish college first."

"ntaplah. The doain cave smoothly. Trus gua saw you were the same girl, lest it's the candidate." The word Ilham curious.

"god willing, God will be blessed." replied Ivan.

"wih is beautiful too bro. Congratulations to you."

"not married yet."

"oh yesyah. Haha."

"Iwana.. What's in here?" many of me who came to approach after Ilham shouted unclear.

"Arm... After eating." replied Ivan

"Man you lost to Ivan. The cave saw him as a chick, his future wife." Ilham ngeledek said.

"which is really ?"

"yes, it just so happened that we met and had a little bit of a conversation earlier about something." Ivan replied explaining the situation.

"oh, yes, it's a pity that I didn't see your future wife" I said curiously.

"behh. beautiful Man.. If you see you're gonna run into Ivan." Ilham.

"lebay you bro. Where might I be ngiri. Which you have.. His eyes are guarded."

I was quite curious about the figure of Yana, from the beginning even. Not without reason because he became a trigger for Ivan in his spiritual journey to find guidance.

Moreover, this Yana is able to make the perverted mouth of Ilham praise her beauty. I wanted to see a picture of Yana, but Ivan Yana did not show off a photo of herself on social media. Yes, one more sholehah woman, if Ivan really so marry her then he will be a lucky man.

If I remember Ivan saying that, I remember Alfy. All I know is none of her social media accounts showed her face. I once asked her that, innocently she replied that her face was not public consumption.

Of all the things Ivan said about Yana, I was more and more convinced that she was really a sholehah woman. And I can now imagine how well they fit together on the bench.

Before long we talked, Ivan said goodbye because there is still business to be completed with his guidance counselor. Ilham and I returned to the group of friends who had been busy preaching their own generation.

As I walked towards my friends, I saw him. Saw him walking away from this canteen. I can even recognize the way he walks even though he's behind me.

I stood still, and I looked at his back which was getting further away from the reach of my eyes. Until my heart takes over logic and starts moving legs to run up to it.

I ran with a blank mind, I ran without thinking about what I should say after being in front of him. I got out of the cafeteria and started to get closer, getting closer until I mentioned his name..

"Fy.. Fina. Wait." Wait." I hurried.

But he didn't turn around, until the woman next to him told him that someone was calling and he stopped and turned around.

For the first time in 5 months, I saw his eyes again. Only, the gaze this time was different. This gaze,. The look of a stranger.

"Fa.. Sorry I want to say something." I said when I was right in front of him.

"hey Arman." said the image of the woman who was with Alfy.

"hey Citra." I reply.

While Alfy was still guessing with a thoughtful expression while continuing to look at me. "Sorry.. Do I know you? Looks like.. Ever seen you." His word.

Hearing that, my feelings began to stir, does it mean that he has started to remember me? At least that's what I'm thinking now.

"really?" I said expectantly.

"yes, you.. That man, who was in the hospital, wasn't he?" he said not sure.

unfortunately, he seemed to remember me as a foreign man who had made a scene in his self-care room at the time. I kept forcing him to remember who I was and what I was around him for.

He remembered me, as a foreign man who made his head dizzy even to the point of fainting because I kept forcing him to remember me back when his condition was not stable at that time.

He finally remembered me, but he didn't remember me the way he should. She remembers me as the one who hurt her. "i'm sorry, but I really don't know you other than the time in the hospital" she said trying to comfort myself who seemed disappointed by her attitude.

"his name is Arman.., he is also the son of SME Scientific Writing like you." Citra.

"ohs.. So we are an SME. I'm sorry, Arman, because I'm sick again.."

Unfinished Alfy mentioned his illness, I cut and tried to find an excuse.

"yes I know, the children in SMEs also already know about your illness" I said.

"oh yeah, he said he was gonna say something?" ask Alfy.

"engga me.. L'm.. Just wanted to say that.. The ka.. Fy.. It's me Arman. I like you, I know how you feel too. That's why I called you back then, even if you don't remember anything. Alfie.. Seriously, please forgive my mistake. I should not have said such harsh words, I apologize. "my murmur in Heart.

"Sorry Arman.. What are you talking about?" tanyanya was confused.

"eh anu's. The reunion.. Yes reunion. Riyal told you that, right?" reply changed the topic.

"Riyals.. Oh yeah yeah. Astagfirullah. Sorry again, Arman. I really don't remember if it turns out that you are also one of the students who left for Malaysia. Ja. Really right?"

"hehe, yes Fin."

"waduh we know well. Sorry well I completely forgot." he said.

I just keep saying "no papa" even though there's really nothing. Although he actually did not accept it with that awkward attitude.

I just want to scream, I want to repeat time. Still with a rigid attitude because it considers me a new person, even more rigid than the first I knew him first.

Alfy said hello and he started to stay away. While I again could say nothing but ordinary talk was useless.

Maybe I'm afraid, if I recall when he was in pain because it forced the mind to recall who I was.

At least he knew me again, at least for the second time I was no longer a stranger in front of him. At least I'll start again from the beginning and this time I won't let go, because I'm now only aware that the feeling of wanting to have and love her is greater than my hatred for her past.
