You & Dusk
Final Semester

The last semester, normally like that for some other students, while some consider that the 8th semester is not the last semester, for example like Wahid. He has not thought about the final assignment or thesis, for him this semester is still like the previous semesters. There are still responsibilities on campus that he must carry, before he leaves the campus completely.

As for me, a normal student who wants the campus business to be able to run in this semester and can graduate this year. Likewise with Ica, he has been out of the hospital for two weeks, his condition is getting better even though I know if there is still trauma in his mind.

Actually, today is the day Ica will get her thesis exam, but given her dire condition at the time. Her guidance counselor resigned the exam for her until next month so Ica could focus on restoring her physical and mental health first.

I who do not want to lose with Ica have also started my research, as well as Inspiration motivated by Ica. While Gina has completed her research and now has struggled with data from the results of her research.

What has been confusing me lately is Adi. He further affirmed the distance with us, although I still sent messages with him but Adi very rarely gathered again on campus. Adi kind of dodged if I asked him what or why he rarely went to college. Ginapun has confirmed that he has broken up with Adi.

I had thought that Adi was like this because he broke up with Gina. But I still don't know the exact answer, especially Gina's attitude to Ilham if we're gathering, I feel like something they're covering up, it's awkward and not as usual. I still don't understand that, even if I mentioned in front of them spontaneously they would dodge my question.

Today for example, because I am in a meeting at UKM Karate. I was on campus even though there was no scheduled lecture, while Ica will meet with Prof Armin, Ilham immediately escorted Ica and Gina today there is a thesis consultation schedule with Ms. Ariana. Because it was on campus, of course we took the time to regroup in our favorite canteen.

"i've never seen Adi. Gina, what the hell is going on with you?" ask Ica.

The sudden question made Gina choke on a drink.

"e.. I don't know either." she replied briefly.

"Ham.. If you knew not? About Adi." I asked

"gue doesn't know anything" he said unsure.

Being talking about Adi, suddenly.

"that's the guy." point to Ica.

Adi suddenly approached us. I saw him holding a plastic folder. After greeting us all she sat down beside me.

"where is it bro?" tanyaku sok fun.

"be students. This is the same guidance as Prof Kifli." he replied.

It turns out that Adi has secretly completed his research and is currently working on the results of his research. I don't know what motivates Adi who is usually lazy in everything.

He's hanging out with us right now, but if I look closely. Adi just replied or invited me and Ica to talk, while Ilham and Gina did not he talk to or did not glance at them though. I realized something was going on between the three of them.

"Ca' how are you?" ask Adi.

"alhamdulillah, it's better. You're evil, I rarely look at me in the hospital." Ica replied.

"i'm sorry, I'm busy with the thesis."

"yes, no papa, that's good."

"but I'm kampr. If I meet, I'll do it." he said.

It seems that I can no longer hold my anxiety in my heart. "What's really going on between you?" ask suddenly.

They looked at me with confused faces.

I looked towards Adi. "why are you being cold to Gina and Ilham?"

Adi silently heard my words, while Ica who had not realized earlier began to understand the situation.

I turned to look towards Ilham and Gina.

"You two? Is it with you guys?"

"that's why Man. There's nothing." reply Inspirational kind of relaxed.

"enough.." I hit the table.

The atmosphere that was once biased now became quite tense, the sound of table buzzing made the attention point towards the five of us.

"Man's.. Relax dong." said Ilham trying to calm down.

I hold Adi, I hold her hand. "enough bro.. Please, whatever happens between you, get it done now" I said in frustration.

Adi just kept quiet hearing me talk like that. While Ica initially thought that there was nothing, she began to feel suspicious about the awkward situation at this time.

"Gina?" he looked at Gina.

Gina just kept quiet, she bowed and said sorry to Ica. Hearing that Ica was getting confused, suddenly Adi who was still holding anger at Ilham stood up from his seat.

"Ilham... Cheating with Gina." she said firmly.

Hearing that Ica was shocked and seemed to be in disbelief. He turned towards Inspiration and looked with a sad look. While Gina who heard it immediately refuted Adi's words.

"no.. Don't be reckless." snapped Gina.

"already.. You guys just admit it." said Adi accused.

I could see the flames of jealousy in Adi's sight. Although it is difficult to believe but seeing Adi's attitude and views on Ilham is enough to make me worried.

Inspiration that had been silent immediately ignited his emotions to hear the allegations without evidence by Adi. "eh.. Bro. You don't accuse me."

"what's lu.. Hah." said Adi still with jealousy butanya.

"where's the evidence that I cheated on Gina?"

Adi was silent, probably because of his blind jealousy when it still did not subside. He also punched Ilham to make Ilham fall. All eyes in the cafeteria were on our table. I spontaneously arrested Adi who still looks angry because of the allegations of infidelity, while Ilham was helped stand by Ica.

Gina who saw the quarrel shouted. "already.. Thats enough.. Don't fight."

After saying that, Gina took the bag and immediately left us who were still confused and did not know what to respond. Adi also left without leaving a word, even he encouraged me who tried to ask for an explanation for his attitude and statement.

"are you papa Ham?" the word Ica helped Ilham stand up.

"Bro.. What's the matter, actually?" my many.

"are you really cheating on Gina?"

"no Ca'.. The only girl I like is you." Inspiration assured Ica.

Inspiration sat back down, he was completely shocked at what was happening right now, as well as me and Ica. Finally he told me about the misunderstanding that happened to me and Ica. It started in the semester, 2 years or so ago. At that time Ilham walked in the corridor and saw Ica wearing a bracelet that became his promise with a small child. Since then Ilham who was curious about Ica continued to approach Ica, until finally Ilham fell in love without having time to confirm directly to Ica if the bracelet was his or not.

As for Ica, she said that the bracelet belonged to Gina. He had only borrowed it back then because it looked unique. Hearing the story of Ilham, Ica understood why Ilham had been chasing him so far.

Ica let out a breath.. He can't believe what's going on right now. His mind was a little muddled especially over the recent incident that hit him.

Ilham further said that it turned out that Adi knew this and was angry with him for the promise he had made with Gina when they were children. From then on they had a falling out and Gina seemed to still hold onto that promise despite trying to cover up her feelings.

What am I afraid of is the story of Ilham's past. It turns out that my guess is right that Ilham had been wrong to think, if it was like this to be taken where else their relationship would be.

I don't think, fate is sometimes very cruel but this is the reality. Inevitably we have to accept reality and face it even though the bitterness is enough to make us sick of life.

"Ilham.. Do you like Gina?" ask Ica.

"no.. I am sure of my feelings. The girl I like is just you Ca'." asserted Ilham.

I still can't believe what happened. Whether our friendship should end like this in our last years together.

"it's all my fault. But.. Ica.. I'm sure the girl I like is you." Inspiration once again convinced Ica.

Inspiration's mistake made him drop his heart on the wrong woman. His careless actions hurt the hearts of others. Even so Inspiration is firm in its stance, that currently in the depths of its deepest sense there is an Ica residing.

Ica.. He's not.. Not a girl in her childhood, not Gina..
