(Flashback Part)
Today I was nervous, when I saw a UKM Football representative present his SME in front of thousands of MABA. I'm nervous because after this, I'm the one who's gonna get on top of that bugger.
Shortly after SME Sepak Bolq finished.
“now for further introduction, we welcome SME Karate.” The MC said on stage.
"Arman our turn.” Said Linda.
Linda and I, who are members of the UKM Karate Public Relations Division, then went on stage to introduce our SMEs to the thousands of people who were in front of the stage.
The MABA welcoming agenda this time has come to the introduction of campus SMEs. Each SME sent two representatives to present their SMEs in front of the MABA while the other members were outside the University hall guarding SME stands to welcome the MABA after the welcoming ceremony was completed.
I was a little nervous to see the enthusiasm of this year, by taking a deep breath I began to talk a lot about SMEs specifically Karate SMEs. At first I was nervous but because I kept talking I was finally able to control my nervousness and talk casually.
After speaking for 15 minutes, then MABA was given time to ask about Karate SMEs. Until there were two people who seemed very eager to ask, I followed their questions and explained them in a structured way so that they understood what I was saying.
After the two questions were over I answered, finally the session for me was over. With the applause of MABA in front of the stage I got off the stage and walked outside. To the outside I sighed at the completion of the tranquility I felt in that hall. “huuhhhhfff.”
“why Man. It's done.” Linda.
"you're good Lin just oversaw PowerPoint aja.”
“ya already drank first.”
“thank you.”
" if so we go to stand yuk, meet other children.” Said Linda.
We both then went to the Karate SME Stand to join other friends. “hei Man. How?” tanya Aswin is a member of SMEs.
“jago beud.” Reply Linda praised me.
“aahhhsiiapp.” Aswin.
“guys I went there first yah.” I said to them.
I walked away from the Karate SME stand and approached the Scientific Reasoning SME stand. “hei bro. How was.” Said Idan one of my friends in the SME of Scientific reasoning.
“alhamdulillah smoothly bro.” My reply.
“eh Arman.” Say hello Cindy.
“hi Cindy's. Roid same Alfy where?” ask the kids who are here.
“Alfy? Who?” ask Cindy.
“they haven't finished the presentation.” Reply Inces.
“oh..”
Roid currently serves as chairman of the Scientific Reasoning SMEs after replacing Steve and Alfy became SME secretary.
An hour had passed and the series of MABA welcoming activities had been completed marked by the exit of the new students from the University hall. They all flocked to the SME stand that had been lined up to share complete information in accordance with the presented earlier in front of them all.
In addition, they also get SME brochures as a source of information about SMEs as well as to convince them to join SMEs they are interested in. Some are still wondering about SMEs because they do not get answers when presenting in the hall. Some just take a brochure and then leave. Some have already declared themselves wanting to join.
I was overwhelmed to respond to their questions all because of the large number. Likewise with other friends and other SMEs. “hi Kak.. I'm Evelyn.” Said a freshman approaching me.
“iya Evelyn. Can I help you?”
“kak I want to ask you that one..”.
One of the things that caught my attention, a MABA named Evelyn with long hair in her pigtail back she came up to me and gave me some questions, from her tone she was excited.
I explained everything about what he asked and he seriously listened to what I said. His eyes are a little narrow, his cheeks are chubby and on the right and left cheeks when he smiles or laughs then will be seen a dimple, Sesata which is very interesting to me.
"grandfather explanation. Continue to register join yes how kak?” tanyakanya.
“for registration join, it will later be informed via sms or WA. You just fill in your phone number or no wa at the registration table.” I said.
“oh yes brother. Thanks.”
“iya together Evelyn.”
“can't I ask no. WA new. Who knows there's something I'd like to ask brother but can't see.” Evidently.
“iya of course.” I also give no. I told her, smiling she thanked me and left in front of me.
“it looks like there's a new prey nih.” Said Bambang one of my friends in UKM karate.
“paan anyway. He asked yes I love dong.” My answer.
“success broku.” Linda said teasing me.
“maybe this is what my senior said, my idol.” Said Kak Eva who was also at the SME stand.
I laughed too, as if to deny the words. Even though it might have happened, what else am I a little interested in.
