(Flashback Part)

Trying to reach for a dream, I was suddenly startled by a smartphone that kept ringing to wake me from sleep. "who the hell is it? people are still sleepy too.” Said Arman who woke up from sleep because he heard his smartphone ringing.

“heh... Alfy..” her eyes widened looking at the call from Alfy.

“halo assalamualaikum Man.” Said Alfy.

“waalaikumsalam Fy, yes what is it?”

Alfy called to confirm the committee's money taken by me yesterday, after buying a nail because I was tired I went straight home to rest and forgot to give the rest of the money and purchase receipt to Alfy. “uuffff.. Kirain what's up.” I said in my heart to close the phone.

The clock is now pointing at 10. If Alfy hadn't called, maybe I'd have fallen asleep by noon and forgotten my promise to Ivan. Another hour Ivan will pick up at home to help him prepare a birthday surprise for Dian. An hour has passed and I have prepared, Ivan was already in front of the house driving a car. “sorry, do not give his name?” I said as I got into the car.

“so how's the surprise concept?”

“it seems more romantic if it's just the two of me. So I don't miss anyone Man. At once I want to ask for help once again help me make the decoration of the place to be more romantic.” Clearly Ivan.

I don't know why today I feel that Ivan is having a show, I don't know but sometimes my gut is telling the truth.

If he really wants to be friends with me, it doesn't matter. Because I've been friends with Ivan for a long time, even like brothers because we have been together since childhood but if you have to say my best friend feels heavy maybe because I have been betrayed by friends since I was in high school. I'd better move on from that incident and start opening my heart to befriend someone. Ivan is close enough to me and we already know each other's character. Yep.. I decided to return to befriend Ivan.

Arriving at the location, I saw many decoration needs that Ivan might have prepared before. Lots of red roses and balloons and other necessities.

Without asking much I began to work according to Ivan's needs and ideas. Starting from arranging the road to the dining table behind his private villa to arrange colorful balloons.

“oh Yes Van.. The concept was to have dinner together, but from earlier I noticed here there were only the two of us.” I said while arranging the balloons.

“iya Man's. So that the atmosphere is more dapet.”

“keep cooking for you who?”

Seeing his enthusiasm like that, I became moved. I don't know what expression Dian will show if he sees everything Ivan does for himself like this. I know Ivan's a good guy because his dad is one of the executives at the company he works for, so money's not a problem for him because I told him before. Matter is meaningless in the face of love.

Long enough to make the decorations Ivan wanted. Effective indeed if there are enough people working on it, it may only take an hour or 2 hours. However, because it was just the two of us as a result we took 4 hours for all the decorations to be completed.

After all the business was done, Ivan drove me to college. Because of the change of plans I was able to return to campus to help the committee friends prepare the evant that we will carry out in 2 days.

Actually I was prepared to be in the villa until night because he initially said that he would carry out some kind of party together with all his friends. But I don't know what caused Ivan to change his mind and choose to have a romantic dinner with Dian alone.

In the car because I was curious I also asked about it. “by the way Van, why can you change your mind?”

“change your mind about what?”

“about the concept of a surprise for your girlfriend?"

oh yea. I just don't want to look moody in front of other friends.” Answer laughed.

“later you will also understand Man. You're the first person I'll tell you later about this surprise.”

“oklah Van's. Success surprise.”Ivan looked at me and smiled.

About half 6 before Maghrib I got to the campus, after getting off the car then Ivan pamit and thank for help decorating in his villa. He then went home to prepare himself and picked up his girlfriend.

I who was currently on the campus football field rushed to the SME Scientific Reasoning secretariat. After it turned out that the committee friends were in the main Gor mengisipkan stage and other needs for our activities.

After being there I met with Alfy and then gave the rest of the money he gave me yesterday along with his receipt.

I saw he was seriously managing the committee's finances, another thing I knew about Alfy. He was very dedicated to the responsibility he was given and I liked him more and more.
