A Promise

(Flashback Part)

My mother smiled as she shed tears as she opened the package I gave her. I took the gold necklace and put it on my mother's neck. Then I was hugged and kissed, while Raihan did not want to lose he also gave a gift in the form of a picture made for my mother. Yep.. A picture of an SD kid but that's not the essence. Mother means a small gift from Raihan is something big for him because surely the picture was made with loving children towards his parents.

For a mother, increasing the age of the child is not a reason to no longer consider their child is a child. No matter how old she is in a mother's eyes, her child is still her child.. He is small and wants to protect her until she is not in this world.

I really feel that way, at my age, Mom still sees me as her little boy. The little boy she has to protect with her own hands, no matter how hard you say I'm an adult, believe me in the eyes of Mom you're still a child.

It seems like tonight's surprise for my mother was a success, thanks to the help and loan money from Inspiration I was able to give the best gift to the special woman in my life.

The little surprise tonight ended when Raihan cried for expressing his feelings for Mom. I unconsciously shed a few tears looking at Raihan.

Besides the three of us, there is also an inspiration that helps me prepare for this little surprise. He was busy distracting my mother by asking her to talk while Raihan and I prepared everything.

Mother then drove Raihan to his bed because it looks like he is sleepy. Raihan was a spoiled child to my mother, especially when my father died. Even though he will soon enter Junior High he still behaves like a 4th grade elementary child. "Ham thank you.. You're my best friend." I said praise him.

I noticed the inspiration from earlier looking at the sky, we were both on the porch of my house. The standing Inspiration looked at the bright night sky by the full light. I certainly know what makes it that way, just that I don't want to talk to her about it. "Man's.. The cave is wrong if the current cave is bright?" Ask me Inspiration.

"whatever does Ham mean?" ask me back pura2 do not understand.

"City.. You know, right? Two days ago" he said, clarifying the situation.

"oh.. Yes Ham." I said sounding awkward.

"if it's you Man, or Adi or whoever it is. The cave will be sincere, but why should Irwan?" seriously said.

I don't know what to say now, I'm afraid I'm wrong, so I'd better just shut up and listen "meaning cave.. The look of an Irwan kayak looks like a girl's dream but instead of one campus already knows how he behaves like. Cave wonder Ica still can like it. What else did he himself ever say if there's no way he'll like Irwan. The word Inspiration begins to emotion.

"Ham.. We don't know if they are made or not. Who knows, they just happened to meet at that place. Ica herself didn't say anything." I'm obviously trying to calm down Inspiration. It's true, because that short time was a bit awkward. Ica didn't say anything to us, Irwan said.

"what does it mean to try and get them both into a jewelry store? They must have a relationship." Clearly Inspiration.

"yes it's possible that Irwan asked for help that same Ica to help find a gift or something for his girlfriend." I am definitely positive again.

"There's no way he'd just help out if it wasn't because they were already." he said.

"Ham calm down. Gini deh, if you like the same Ica. Now I suggest you take your feelings as seriously as he does. Not as playful as usual, but as seriously as you really want to have it." I said give advice.

"Ham if you don't want to lose him. Then you have to act, now or never." Trying to motivate Inspiration.

To be honest only this time I saw Ilham being childish like this, maybe this was because of love. Yep.. I've said from the beginning that love is a virus to logic even to the highly educated.

Inspiration then sat down next to me, trying to calm himself down. "Man you know why the caves like Ica?"

"not knowing Ham. You said you didn't need a reason to like him." My reply recalls what Ilham told me a while ago.,

At that time Ilham met a little girl who was crying and he came to comfort the little girl, finally they made friends and played together. Approximately 5 days they both play because the place is indeed provided a villa to stay because in the end it is a family tourist attraction, until in the end they had to separate because their families both had to return and the holiday was over.

The little girl was crying and did not want to part with Ilham. Maybe because these 5 days Ilham is happy to never take care of the little girl, play together and joke. Seeing the girl cry, Ilham comforted the little girl and said, "don't cry, we'll see you later." The little girl smiled at Ilham and gave Ilham a black beaded bracelet, while the little girl had a white beaded bracelet. "if we meet again, you must marry me." Said the little girl innocently while smiling.

"well okay.. I promise." reply Inspiration. A small promise was made from the mouths of the two children.

The two of them separated and never met again. "Breaking Ham.. Don't tell me that little girl you told me about is Ica?" I said while interrupting Inspiration to tell her past.

"guess you're in Man. During the second semester the cave had seen Ica and Gina in the canteen and at that time the cave saw Ica again holding a bracelet of white beads. Gua was pretty sure that the bracelet was the same one that the cave had been holding all this time." Clearly Inspiration.

"are you sure Ham. Do you think the face of the little girl you met was similar to Ica?" I said curious.

I just kept listening to the story of Inspiration, I didn't know what to say because to me it's like two sides of a coin. On the other hand romantic yet on the one hand childish.

Ilham turned towards me, looking at me expressionlessly. "if you want to laugh Man please.. Tau cave looks like the cave is still like a child. Still believing the words of the boy in the past. Laugh as much as you." Ilham.

"Ham.. Your friend.. I can't laugh at my friends like that. Now gini, if Ica is the little girl you mean. Why don't you tell him everything. Didn't he still keep the white bracelet, which means he still remembers you even though he didn't know that the little boy who was with him was you. He just needs a little explanation Ham." I said once again start to motivate.

One more positive thing I learned from Ilham, he can be so loyal from childhood until now. Maybe for others it's like a fairy tale, but it's true for some people out there. Little example Ilham, in his little heart he had fallen in love with the little girl he met when he was 5 years old.Even his feelings tisam changed samlai today.
