(Flashback Part)
What a coincidence this is, right in front of me I see him again. The girl who's been grabbing my attention all this time.
I don't want to just see it from afar, I have to get acquainted right now. With great determination, I decided to approach him. I was quite stubborn, with a long sigh I gathered the courage to greet him. Slowly I started to get closer and tried to talk to her. "hey.." I said awkwardly.
He turned his head towards me and when he saw my face he lowered his gaze "sorry brother. Excuse me." The reply then turned away.
"don't call brother. We happened to be on campus." I said try to hold him back so he doesn't leave.
"uh.. Yes sorry. I don't know you." He replied a little surprised to hear me.
"if we are acquainted.. My name is Arman, I'm majoring in state administration." I said while introducing myself.
"my name is Alfy..."
Not done yet he said his name, I immediately cut off his words. "Alfy... I call you Alfy. Can you?"
"uh... But usually my friends call me Fina."
"but Alfy also includes your name, right? So can I call that." I said a little forcefully.
"hm.. Alright." Answer's short.
Even though I already know who he is, it's just that getting acquainted like now has a different impression and I hope to melt the atmosphere by getting acquainted with him.
I introduced myself to him completely, and I told him everything about what was happening in the square of the city. I also apologized for the incident, I also said that we were at one SME on campus, I also said that we were both in a group of students who were going to Malaysia for comparative studies. Yep.. What a wonderful coincidence in my life.
He seems to be very surprised because he thinks he just knows me today, even he thinks he just saw my face at this time. It can't be denied either because all this time when we met accidentally he never looked at my face directly, even when he smiled as I asked him to move places back then.. When I wanted to take a picture of dusk in the same place right now, he really didn't see my face.
After talking and getting to know her in person, she looks different, which is initially awkward now Slowly she responds well, she is a communicative and friendly woman. The only thing I can't stand is when he smiles. I really can't stand her smile. I'm too naive to say it's an angel's smile, all I know is he's just a normal human being.
Maybe he really avoids contact with strangers, but finally now we officially get acquainted meaning I am no longer a stranger in his eyes.
Alfy did not have time to know all the information provided during the student meeting with the Lecturer who was the coach at that time, of course I was happy to explain everything. His intentions helped as well as slow down the duration of time so that I could talk a lot with him.
The longer the sun starts to sink, it looks like the sun seen in the middle of the sea wants to drown itself. The sky that was orange now began to darken. Silhouettes can be seen from the group of birds that from earlier flying low off the coast, as well as the silhouette of many people on the beach. It's exquisite.. I think the highlight of twilight is a moment like this."oh yeah.. What are you really doing here?" I asked Fina who from now on I call Alfy.
"i happened to be through here. Because I think the weather is good like this so I decided to stop for a while even though now it can not be said for a moment." Clearly while smiling.
"huh.. L'm.. I was intent on coming here. You see, I thought the twilight this time would be beautiful and it turned out as it looked. It's beautiful." I clearly.
"Even more beautiful because you're near me". Keep in mind
"ohh so you want to see twilight? You like dusk?" reply Alfy by asking.
I looked at the darkening twilight, and then I looked at Alfy. "yes.. I really like it. This kind of sight makes me comfortable. As if tired from the activities I've been through all day is gone as the sun brings dusk." My reply was clear.
"so yeah.. I love the sun when it starts to rise. The rising sun signifies the beginning, teaching us that tomorrow has passed and now is the beginning. Whatever happens today will be the past and tomorrow will be the future. That's why I always liked it.. The sun's up.." he said.
"oh.. That's a good thing." I said.
"i'm sorry I seem to talk too much." Said Alfy blushing in embarrassment.
"no papa.. I think everybody likes something different. So have you been to this place a lot to see that sunrise?"
"no.. This beach is a sunset. If the sun had risen here it might have been doomsday." He said while laughing lightly.
"yeah, you're right too. Hehe." My reply.
"have entered magrib, then I say goodbye."
"want me to take you." I said offer myself.
"sorry, no need. I brought my own vehicle. Then I'll go first. Assalamualaikum." He said as he moved from where he stood.
"waalaikumsalam." I stared back at his back which was starting to move away.
It's the end of my misfortune, it's the best twilight of my life. Maybe I won't forget the twilight today, I can finally get to know him face to face.
With Alfie.. I called him Alfy to be different from the others. My father said, calling someone we like with a different call from everyone else is one way to get closer to that person. This indicates that the person is special to us.
Along with the sun sinking, Adhan began to reverberate and I then left the beach while constantly smiling thinking about what had just happened.
