Chapter 88

Nevan and Alish are currently in the living room, they just finished dinner and decided to stay there for a while.

Aaric and his wife and son had gone home at night when Fariz came home from the hospital, so now they were the only two workers in the house.

"Pa, Mama wants to see Fariz, Mama wants to know how she is right now," Alish said, starting a conversation, and he looked at Nevan with sadness.

Alish and Nevan then look at each other, they wonder about the intent of the arrival of Cindy's parents.

"All right tell them to come in and prepare a drink for them" Nevan told her Art.

"Okay sir" said his Art and went straight to Cindy's parents.

"What do they want to do here?" tanya Alish looked at Nevan with question marks.

"Okay, if so, let's meet them and ask what they mean" Nevan said, then move on from her seat.

Alish follows him, and they begin to step into the living room, to meet Cindy's parents.

"Good night, Mr. Nevan, Ms. Alish," said a man younger than Nevan, a man who was none other than Cindy's father, smiling kindly at Nevan and Alish.

"Good night, sir, ma'am, please sit down, sir, Mom," Nevan said as she sat down and invited Cindy's parents to sit down.

"Thank you."

Cindy's parents sit on the long sofa next to where Alish and Nevan are sitting.

"I'm sorry we interrupted because of nights like this, visiting here," Cindy's father said in a pleasant conversation.

"It's okay, sir, we happen to be relaxed too, if you may know what is necessary, you guys have to bother here now?" ask Nevan.

"Master, ma'am, here's the drink" said Art, keeping the drink for their guests, at the table in the middle of the sofa.

"Yes, thank you Ma'am, please drink first Sir, Mom," said Alish smiling kindly at his guests.

"Yes thank you, Mom."

Eventually the two Cindy's parents started drinking the drink first and went back to keeping the drink at the table, after which they began to talk very seriously.

"So what we mean by coming here, we want to say a big apology to the family of Mr. Nevan and Ms. Alish, especially to Nak Fariz" Cindy's father said.

"What do you mean by father?" ask Nevan.

Cindy's father did not immediately continue his words, he looked at his wife first and when his wife nodded, he looked back at Alish and Nevan.

After that Nevan asked her Art to take their guest out of her house, after the departure of Cindy's parents, Alish let out a long sigh.

"Either be happy or sad about this news Pa," Alish said looking at Nevan.

"It's a good thing we haven't distributed the invitation yet because Fariz had an accident."
