As she was so engrossed in all the sadness in her, suddenly Ami felt a very soft rub on her shoulders, now moved to her cheeks.
Rubbing his cheek that had been soaked by the tears gently, to make it feel comfortable, his face slowly lifted and the rubbing moved again to the cheek next to him.
"Are you satisfied?" fariz asked who was immediately answered by Ami.
She had not been satisfied, all this time she had always cried in silence, cried in her room alone and acted as if she was doing well while coming out of her room.
"Well then, let's move, I'll lend you my shoulder tonight" Fariz got up from his chair and gently pulled Ami's hand.
"Where are you going, Mas?" ask Ami intermittently.
He followed Fariz's steps as he was pulling his hand, either to be taken to where.
"Get in, it's getting colder here" Fariz said as he continued walking.
Ami simply complied, he continued to step in Fariz's footsteps leading him, the man took Ami into his room and out of the room, then headed to the middle room.
"Now you can cry as much as you can, tonight I'm going to lend you my shoulder to wet with tears and I'm going to watch" Fariz said as they sat on the sofa side by side.
"But, Mas." Ami felt awkward because they were too close, there was no longer even a distance between them.
"Hurry up, seen before I change my mind." Fariz forced Ami's body to wake up to her.
Ami finally had no choice, he leaned his head on Fariz's sturdy shoulder. However, now it was not the sadness that felt like before, but his heart that was pounding.
While Fariz, busy switching channels on television, looking for interesting broadcasts. He occasionally looked towards Ami who seemed to be getting comfortable with his position.
"Mas" call Ami.
"Hem."
"What did you feel when Mama Mas left?" ami asked as she closed her eyes, enjoying the perfume scent of the clothes Fariz was wearing.
"Of course sad" said Fariz with a straight look on the television screen in front of him.
"Mas, must have felt lucky to have felt cared for and loved by a mother," said Ami.
"Yes, I'm a little bit luckier than you who've never felt a mother's affection" Fariz said frankly.
"Will my mama distinguish between my affection for me and my brother, if he were still around?"
"A mother will never distinguish their affection for her children, they will give equal affection to each child."
"If you were there, I would be happier."
"Are you unhappy with your life now?"
"I'm happy, especially I have a great Papa, not only as a father, but he also always tries to play a mother as well for me" said Ami who began to smile.
Ami who had just talked about her papa, so feeling long for her, she wondered inwardly, if the man was looking for her at this moment.
What is his papa, rest well, eat well and take medicine regularly, what is his brother and papa is often noisy or not.
Given how his brother's attitude, to cause him and his papa often cheque, but he always prayed that his papa was always okay.
He also hopes that his brother does not make problems, to make his papa stun or excessive anger and can trigger the disease to recur.
"Do you hate your brother for what he's done to you all this time?" fariz asked Ami from her daydream.
"No," said Ami briefly.
"Why don't you hate him?" asked Fariz in surprise.
"Because I can't hate him, I just always feel sad whenever he does me bad" Ami replied as she is.
"But sometimes you can't just shut up when he does something bad to you again if you keep quiet. He'll be even more happy and used to doing bad things to you" Fariz said.
"Yes, maybe later I will try to fight," said Ami sekhenya.
Hearing Ami's unsatisfactory reply, Fariz flicked his lips and rolled his eyes lazily.
"Mas, if mama, Mas Fariz is dead, where is Papa Mas?" asked Ami who just remembered, if the man only told me about his mother, but not his father.
"Not knowing, dead perhaps," now it was Fariz's turn to answer her question.
"Well, how could Mas, emang Mas have never met papa Mas, again that?" Now it was Ami's turn to be dissatisfied with the man's answer.
"Not yet and I don't want to meet him!" Fariz changed his tone to be more firm than before.
"Why?" ask Ami who is even more curious.
"Don't talk about it, I don't like it when anyone talks about it!" fariz's firmness made Ami immediately lock her mouth.
"Sorry Mum!" lirih Ami is sorry.
"It's okay, forget about this discussion" said Fariz who did not want to discuss about the man.
He was always emotional when there was something about his biological father, the father who left him alone when his mother was very ill and left him alone.
Ami did not speak anymore and still held on to his comfortable position, leaning on Fariz's shoulder which supported his head firmly.
The longer he was more comfortable with the position and did not want time to pass quickly, only this time he felt a comfort that could really make him reluctant to escape the sense of it.
Feel comfortable, safe, and calm like when he was near his papa first. He did not know when and where he would feel such comfort again, if he returned to his family, maybe he and Fariz would be like strangers as before.
If I could choose, I wouldn't want that time to come, a time when you and I would go back to living each other's lives, like two strangers.
