"Come down" said Fariz in a flat tone, he opened the door beside Ami, so that Ami immediately got out of his car.
Ami did not listen to him, he instead threw himself into the arms of Fariz whose body was still leaning on him, because he had just finished opening the car door.
"Deliver!" press the rebellious Fariz, trying to distance himself from Ami.
"Let it be like this first, Mommy." Ami hugged the man's body tightly.
"Later I'll miss you so much, Mas Fariz, will miss me too, right?" ami was still reluctant to remove his wound from Fariz.
Fariz was silent, not returning Ami's embrace, he tried not to return the embrace of the woman who had unknowingly filled his heart that had always felt empty at first.
Not getting a reply from the man made Ami, again and again sad, but he convinced himself, if Fariz did this too because he was forced to.
Ami began to let go of her embrace, she tried to smile at the bitterness in her heart because of the indifference of the man in front of her.
"Be careful, see you later" said Ami, still putting on a forced smile.
He then, opening his car door wider and starting to lower his legs, then extending his baton, he still hoped Fariz would say something nice to let go of it.
"Hopefully after this, you can live life even better, congratulations tin—"
"Don't say that word, Mas" cut off Ami who didn't want to hear Fariz's goodbye because he was sure they would meet again.
"We'll meet again, Mommy."
Fariz could no longer make out the smile that was still imprinted on Ami's face, he knew, if it was a very forced smile.
He closed the car door and started to revive the car. Slowly, his car began to move away from Ami who was still not moving in place.
"We will meet you again, Mas" muttered Ami rubbed his cheek when he realized there were tears that began to fall.
Ami still did not move from his place, his legs seemed heavy to step into his house, on the other hand he was happy, because he would meet his papa, his papa, but on the other hand he felt his heart was empty.
"Son, you're finally home."
A voice that was very familiar to him and also missed by him, made Ami turn her back on the papa who was looking at him happily.
Denis, who had just returned home, was very happy, when he saw his youngest child in front of the gate of his house, without waiting for a long time he immediately got out of the car and approached Ami.
"Pa!" lirih Ami with a cry that from earlier tried to be detained, immediately sticking to the surface.
"Papa misses you" Denis hugged Ami.
Ami cried in the arms of her father, shedding the sorrow in her heart that she had been holding back from, with all her might.
"Yes, now that you are home, let's go in first, you will tell me what happened all this time" Denis said, leading Ami into the gate of his house.
Denis thought that Ami's cry was because she missed you herself and her family, she thought it was Ami's happy cry.
Though the biggest reason Ami cried was not that, even though the woman did miss her family, but there were things that made Ami rebuked like that.
The biggest reason was, the separation of himself and the man who seemed far away to reach, but he wanted to try to reach the man, even though it was not easy.
Ami immersed himself in the arms of his papa, just as when he was a child, if sad, seeking tranquility in his papa's arms.
"Alhamdulillah, Non Ami has met Mister" said Candra when opening the gate.
He gave thanks, when he saw Denis coming along with his lady who had suddenly disappeared.
"Good, Sir." Candra nodded enthusiastically and started walking towards Denis' car which was in front of the gate.
While Denis enters the house with Ami who is still in his arms, he takes Ami to the living room, where Daffin has just returned to work with Zoya.
"Non Ami," called Tini who had just come out the kitchen door and saw Ami who was being swept by Denis, heading to the family room.
Hearing Tini's call, Zoya and Daffin, who were talking, stopped their conversation and turned their attention towards the door.
"Papa, Ami" said Zoya and Daffin, with different facial expressions.
If Daffin is happy with Ami's return, in contrast to Zoya who is not happy with his return, his sister is.
"Thank God you're home, Mi. Wherever you've been, we've all been worried about you" Daffin said.
Ami, who was being led by Denis to sit down, only smiled faintly at the words of her sister-in-law.
"How are you doing out there, son. Are you living well? Did you meet any good people there?" Demands of questions posed by Denis who was sitting opposite Ami.
Ami took her papa's hand and clasped the hand that always provided her with protection and warmth.
"Ami's fine, I'm also helped by a good person, so now I'm here safely, without any shortcomings, Ami's nolong is really a good person, really a good person, he took care of me even though I was a stranger" said Ami smiling at Denis.
"Thank God, if you're okay, go where the person who broke you down and took care of you was, why wasn't there, but you wanted to meet him and say thank you," denis rubbed the back of Ami's hand.
"So he had a sudden interest, so he had to leave again immediately" said Ami.
"Well, next time we'll go to his place and thank him" Denis said.
"Yes, Pa."
Shortly afterwards Tini came back to the room, she served drinks to the four of them.
"So, why did you leave that time, Mi? You know that your sister did not know you were tired at that time" said Daffin.
Hearing the words from her sister-in-law, Ami just smiled, so that's what her brother told her family, she said if she just left.
"Yes, why did you leave, didn't you tell me to wait when I went to the toilet." Zoya interrupts Ami who is about to open her voice.
She was afraid, if Ami was telling everyone the truth, so she interrupted first.
"That's Ami, bosen sis. So I left, intending to go to the car, but it turned out I was unknowingly walking too far" said Ami smiling.
She chose to follow her brother's play again for now, for the time being she wanted to stay quietly for a moment in that house.
"I got tired of your nyari suddenly saying," said Zoya with her lips open.
Ami smiled, then said, "I'm sorry, that's got you all bothered."
"It's okay, son. The important thing is that you're home and well" Denis said gratefully.
"Pa, Ami wants to go to the room first yes, want to rest first" said Ami.
"Yes, son, go, we will gather again for dinner, yes" said Denis rubbing the tip of Ami's head.
"Yes, Pa."
Ami got up from the sofa and began to step up without spirit, there was a corner in her heart that now felt empty again, even though she had gathered with her family.
