Late in the afternoon at the hospital, Cindy had just come from the cafeteria to buy a snack, she was walking back to the room where Fariz was being treated, but her steps stopped in front of a slightly open door, upon hearing the conversation between Fariz and Aaric.
"You take it easy, did not the doctor say, if you will be able to recover and normal again by doing therapy."
"But the chances of a cure are very small."
"Although it is small, but there is still a possibility, you must believe, in the slightest of possibilities."
Cindy eavesdropped on the curious chatter between the two airs, she wanted to go in and ask what, what they were discussing, but she was sure if she was coming in, she said, then they won't tell him and Fariz will shut up again.
"I'm sure you can be normal again, if your legs heal you can do therapy as the doctor suggested."
"But how long should I wait, a year, two years or even more, in a moment I will get married, what should I tell my wife about my disability."
Cindy could see the desperate look on Fariz's face, and it left her with an intense curiosity about what the two men were talking about.
"I'm sure Cindy will understand and accept you for who you are, doesn't she seem to love you so much."
"No woman will survive with an outwardly disabled man like me, I'm disabled Ric, I'm not a normal man anymore, I won't be able to provide for my wife later, I'm an impont*n man!" racau Fariz with a frustrated face.
"You calm down, Riz, I'm sure you'll get well and normal again, we'll find any treatment to get you back to normal." Aaric continued to give support to Fariz, he hugged Fariz and patted her on the back.
Meanwhile, Cindy was spying in her place, she could not believe what she had just heard, the man who was counting the days would be her husband, he has become an abnormal man.
The woman was completely shocked by what she had just heard, those words, now like a broken cassette that kept spinning in her brain.
"No way, I must have misheard it" Cindy said unknowingly, making Fariz and Aaric aware of its existence.
"Cindy," called Aaric who was already staring at him, making Cindy flinch in shock.
Cindy smiled stiffly, she tried to act normal and began to walk into the room, seen Fariz who immediately changed the look of her face to flat.
"Have you been there long?" ask Aaric.
"No I just got back, what's up?" cindy asked pretending, as if she had heard nothing.
"Oh I think it's been since, it's okay to just ask," said Aaric mangosteen.
"Om same Auntie has come home, yes" said Cindy trying to be ordinary.
"Yes, they came home because it was late afternoon, Mama had to rest a lot so that her health did not drop again" said Aaric.
"Hemmm yes, this is a snack for you to eat, so don't be too bored waiting for the Fariznya," said Cindy keep the snack she bought it at the table.
"I'll eat, thank you" said Aaric.
"Yes are the same." Cindy nodded.
"In the meantime your food is coming, after helping you eat I came home, I was waiting for you here, but I just remembered that tomorrow must be in the morning," cindy told Fariz.
"If you want to go home, just go home, here I take care of him," Aaric said on behalf of Fariz to speak.
"It's okay if I go home now, Riz?" cindy turned to look at Fariz.
Fariz nodded his head in response, Cindy nodded in understanding.
"Well.that's it. I go home first yeah," Cindy told Aaric and Fariz.
She didn't feel like believing what Fariz said just now, but if it was really how things were, Cindy shuddered in horror, as the word impont*n danced around her mind.
"What if he's like that forever? I can't imagine my fate in the future if it's like that" muttered Cindy still busy with her daydreams.
"Cindy!" The voice of someone who called out to him, made his daydream crumble.
He looked over at the origin of the sound and saw Alish and Nevan walking back towards the hospital lobby.
"Tante, Om, don't you want to go home?" ask Cindy in surprise.
"Yes, we want to go home, but Auntie's phone seems to be left inside, just now fit in the bag is not there," explained Alish.
"You just wait here, let me take you to Fariz's ward" Nevan suggested.
"Alright, Mama is also tired if you have to go back and forth there," said Alish agreed with Nevan's proposal.
Nevan leaves, entering the hospital, while Alish asks Cindy to sit while waiting for Fariz in the chair in front of the lobby door.
"Would you like to go home?" alish looked at Cindy.
"Yes Tan, I was going to accompany Fariz here, but I just remembered that I had to go in early in the morning, because there was a patient from out of town who wanted a consultation" Cindy said.
"Oh yes, it's okay here there is Aaric, really who accompanied Fariz, oh yes, also said the doctor if there is nothing else with Fariz's body condition, he can go home tomorrow, let's rest at home, at least occasionally to the hospital for control," explained Alish at length, Cindy only responded with a nod of the head.
Though hesitant, Cindy wanted to know clearly what she had just heard, to convince herself.
"Oh yes, Tan. If you may know, what is Fariz's true condition?" cindy looked at Alish seriously.
"Did Fariz not tell you?" alish asked with a frown.
"No Tan, I only heard Fariz talking to Aaric, before" Cindy said in a hesitant tone.
"Maybe Fariz didn't tell you, because he's not confident, you're calm yeah, the doctor said everything's fine, Fariz just needs to do some therapy he'll definitely recover again," alish.
"Yes, Tan, hopefully Fariz will get well soon" Cindy said, trying to put on a smile.
What if it doesn't heal, what about my fate. Inner Cindy with an upset heart.
"Oh yes Tan, it's Om has come, if so Cindy went home first yes," said Cindy began to wake up from her seat, when she saw Nevan had approached them.
"Yes, you are careful yes, take care of your health not to be the time of your wedding later, even your turn is sick," said Alish attentively.
"Yes Tan, I'm going yes" Cindy said again with a forced smile, but Alish was unaware of it.
Cindy immediately left there, for some reason after hearing Fariz's calm condition, she became uncomfortable for a long time being near Alish.
"Why did he leave so quickly?" nevan asked in surprise to see Cindy leaving.
"Maybe he's on some other business, let's go home now, where's the phone, right?" ask Alish.
"There, on the sofa where you sat before," Nevan said.
"Well, it's right to fall there."
Alish and Nevan left, to the parking lot to his car, they immediately went home with a car driven by their driver.
