"What! Mama wants my marriage and Cindy to be accelerated" Fariz said, not believing what she had just said.
She was at her foster parents' house, they had just finished dinner and were sitting on the sofa in the living room, as usual.
"Yes, Son. How do you agree, right?" ask Alish.
Fariz kept quiet, what should he do now, whether he should reject Alish's wish and say if he already has feelings for other women. Or whether he should agree with the wishes of the woman who has loved him sincerely and hold back the feelings that are growing in his heart without him being able to control before.
Fariz remained silent, his mind branched out thinking about which path he should take, why there should be such a choice in his life, a choice between following his heart or pleasing Alish.
"Riz, why are you quiet?" alish asked, awakening Fariz from his daydream.
"Nothing, Ma," said Fariz without spirit.
"So how? Do you want the wedding to be done as soon as possible?" alish asked again, he was waiting for an answer from Fariz.
"France ...." Fariz was unable to answer that question.
For some reason, his mouth seemed difficult to open again, there was a sense of tightness in his heart that felt increasingly squeezed, making it seem difficult to breathe.
He turned his eyes to every face that had now seen him, waiting for his answer to Alish's question, he stared one by one at the family that was like his real family.
What will they feel, if he does not give an answer that is in accordance with their expectations, to the question, angry, disappointed, or even both, the more thought.
His head was getting dizzy, until it was throbbing, could he get away from this situation and go as far as possible, bringing with him to live alone with him, could he be selfish right now thinking only of himself.
"If you are not ready, just say it, Riz, very tense face," said Aaric who is sensitive to Fariz.
Either Fariz, who was currently unable to, hid the tension and turmoil within him, or the man who had always been able to comfort him since childhood, who was sensitive to him.
However, hearing the question, he felt helped and a little relieved, Aaric as if he had helped him to learn from the discussion for a while.
"Are you not ready yet?" alish asked looking at Fariz seriously.
Again and again the woman's shady gaze, made Fariz, as if there was no heart to disappoint her.
"Fariz wants to think about it first, can't Ma?" Fariz tried to smile at Alish.
"Alright, forgive Mama who is too rushed, you must still need time to think about the problem" said Alish.
"You just think about it, everything is mature. Do not force yourself if you are not ready, believe me, if Cindy is your soul mate, sooner or later you will definitely be together," said Nevan after a moment of silence.
"Yes you think about it first, do not be too hasty mama just feel a little impatient because you want to see you get married and have a family" said Alish, feeling that he had put too much pressure on his adopted son.
"Thank you, because Mama and all of you always do what's best for me" Fariz said, staring one by one.
"Thank you, we didn't, '" said Aaric, making Fariz and the others look at him in surprise.
"Why?" asked Fariz with a frown.
"Because you do not consider us your family, it is not an obligation of every family, do the best for his family members and the word of thanks is only directed to strangers," said Aaric at length.
"You just answer 'same-sama that's the family' why it should be at such length as it talks," Nevan said, rolling his eyes lazy, hearing his son's answer.
"Kan, let's be a little effective, Pa. Such words were too classic," defended Aaric who did not accept the words of his father.
"Already, no fuss, better now we sleep, it's night" said Alish, who cut through the less important debate between the child and her husband.
"Well Papa, rest first, parents do not sleep too late, not good for health" said Aaric to both parents.
"What do you want to do again?" asked Alish in surprise.
"We want to play dong. Yes, right Riz, we haven't played together like gini for a long time, but tomorrow we have a holiday, right?" sahut Aaric to Fariz.
Fariz only nodded in agreement with Aaric's remark, they had not played the game long enough while staying up late.
To be honest, he was a bit shy by saying there were other things, at the weekend because his mother, always discussed her relationship issues and Cindy when she came to the house.
"Alright, whatever you want, if you can not get the morning play," said Alish commemorating his children.
"Ready, Ma, we won't be until morning, at least until dawn" said Aaric with a twitch.
"You must rest" said Ami staring fiercely at Aaric.
"But tomorrow is a work holiday, so there will be no problem if we sleep all day, Ma" said Aaric.
"That's not good for your health later."
"Yes, yes, our beautiful doctor's mother will not be too early in the morning to sleep," said Aaric seduced his mother.
"You are yes, if you are told, do your job," Alish grumbled with annoyance at his biological son.
"Have let them as they please, we should go for a rest" Nevan said, mediating the debate between his son and his wife.
He immediately takes Alish to leave the living room, let their children, do what they want to do.
After Alish and Nevan left, Aaric began taking his PlayStation 5, which they used to play video games with, and he began connecting the PlayStation 5 to television.
The two men, who were like siblings, started playing the game, and when the game started, Aaric began to start a conversation between them.
"What are you hiding from us?" aaric asked with his hands and eyes focused on the course of the game.
"meaning?" ask Fariz who is also serious about the course of the game.
"I feel like there's something you're covering up about me, Mama and Papa? What are you really covering up?" ask Aaric again
"Nothing" said Fariz briefly.
"Don't lie, I can see you always look more nervous whenever Mama talks about marriage" Aaric said.
"Aren't I always like that, when Mama's talking about it?"
"Lately you look more nervous than ever, do you have feelings for other women?" the question, successfully made Fariz lose the consistency in the game, until finally he lost the game.
"Why? is my guess right, to the point that you're so out of focus?" aaric asked looking at Fariz with a grin, because in the first half he won the game.
"No, I'm just lacking in consistency because of work, no other reason" Fariz said.
"Well if that's true, I hope there's nothing you're hiding, either from me or from Mama and Papa" Aaric said, shrugging his shoulders and starting the second half.
After that there was no more conversation between them, Fariz tried to focus completely on the game, forgetting for a moment, the turmoil in his heart.
