Sincerity (Guineness of Heart)
Bad Memories of Ami

Not feeling it has now been two months, Ami lived in Fariz's place, after meeting him and Cindy, Fariz can be a little calm because the woman only contact him occasionally.

From time to time, Fariz and Ami's relationship is getting closer, they interact more often, even not infrequently throwing jokes at each other while being together.

When Fariz was with Ami, he seemed to be himself, sometimes he could forget the problems he was facing when he was near the woman who never escaped the smile.

Currently they are sitting in a chair on the balcony of Fariz's apartment, more precisely outside Fariz's room there is a balcony.

"May I ask you something?" fariz asked with a straight look at Ami who was sitting opposite him, a small round table being a barrier between them.

The man invited Ami to chat first before going to bed, after a while ago they had dinner together as usual.

"What's? Ask me," said Ami.

"You can't answer it if my question is disturbing" Fariz said.

"Actually what, the hell would, Mas asked so curious," said Ami accompanied by a small ruckus from his mouth.

"Are you unable to see from birth?" fariz asked carefully, she was actually not good at asking that, but the curiosity within her could not help it anymore.

The longer together, the greater the curiosity, the deeper the life of the woman in front of him.

Ami smiled then shook to him and said, "I can't see when I'm an adult and this happened because of an accident."

"Accident?" asked Fariz with a frown.

Ami nodded, then he began to tell all the events that became the beginning of his blindness.

"At that time I had just finished taking the national exam, I was very happy that time because the principal said, if I was recommended to get a scholarship on the campus that I had wanted before."

"When I told my father that, he was also happy with it, but there was one person who didn't like the news." Ami stopped for a moment.

"Who?"

"My brother" said Ami smiling bitterly at what was happening at the time.

"At that time Papa invited us to eat together at a restaurant, as a celebration of me who had finished doing the national exam and recommended by the school to get a scholarship."

"However, in the middle of the meal, Papa got a call from his superior to take his place to attend an important meeting and say goodbye to me and my brother."

"We agreed with Papa and let him go, after we finished eating, we planned to go straight home because at that time Papaku could not buy a private car, so we went home by public transport."

"While waiting for the vehicle, my brother and I had a fuss, he asked me not to accept the scholarship offer that—"

"Why did he ask you not to accept the scholarship?" tanya Fariz cut out Ami's words.

"Why your brother does not like, it would not be better, if you are brother and sister together, in order to take care of each other," decak Fariz who is not out of thought with his brother Ami.

"But my feet are different. He is the person who has disliked me the most since I was present" said Ami.

"What's the reason he doesn't like you?" fariz asked looking at Ami seriously.

"Because my mother died giving birth to me, she always thought I was the cause of my mother's departure, besides being small she always assumed that I grabbed all the attention of those around her."

"The reason your brother is too unreasonable in my opinion, I would rather think that your brother is just jealous of you" Fariz said.

"Maybe it is like that" said Ami then shrugged his shoulders.

"Continue what happened after your commotion?"

"For the first time I refuted my brother's words, to the point of angering him, because being overwhelmed by brother's anger pushed me until I fell into the middle of the road."

"I was just standing there and had not yet stepped foot, but a car hit me, so I bounced away from my previous position."

Ami reminisced about the past with tears flowing down her cheeks, remembering that, of course, left a trauma for her.

Although he tried to forget the incident and try to look okay, but who would have thought that the incident even now is still always a nightmare that he always feared.

"After that I couldn't remember anything, I only remembered a few days after the incident, I realized after a few days later, Papa said, if I had been in a coma for a few days."

"Since that moment, I opened my eyes but there was only darkness in my life, all those years I lived with that darkness that became my friend at all times."

Hearing every word that was accompanied by a sobbing from Ami, making Fariz's heart palpitate, he reflexively raised his hand and placed it on the trembling shoulder.

He slowly rubbed the shoulder with a very soft rub, as if afraid the owner was injured if he rubbed it with a little rough.

"Maybe what my brother said was true, I should never have been present, until my mother would have remained without my Brother and Papa," continued Ami with tears that increasingly shed on her cheeks.

All this time she could only endure the sadness she felt in her heart, she tried to endure every spicy word or her brother's painful treatment from since they were children. She had always hoped that her brother would be able to accept her presence someday.

Even for what her brother had done all this time, never the slightest bit, was in her heart to hate her brother, she had always received the treatment of the woman and had never reported to her papa.

"Your wrong brother, isn't he more mature than you, he should be able to understand, if no one can escape the destiny that God has set."

"You must not blame yourself like that, even though your mother was not pregnant and gave birth to you, if God has determined your mother's destiny to get there, then it will definitely happen, she said, with or without your presence at that time."

Ami did not acknowledge Fariz's words, he just lowered his head, shedding the sadness he had been trying to endure all this time.

The sorrow that now had even mounted and now he was spilling it, like an erupting volcano, to spill such hot lava on his cheeks.
