Stains In Love

Stains In Love
Do You Still Love Garry?

After knowing the fact that Garry today returned to Jakarta, Stella was more silent. The woman was busy with her own thoughts. He no longer spoke or responded to Davin's questions. He was completely silent and was possessed by an erratic feeling.

“Stella, we stop by to eat first, huh?” ask Davin. “I happen to be very hungry. You must also be hungry, ‘kan, because this afternoon did not have time to eat?”

Stella turned a glance towards Davin, then nodded.

Davin could only sigh heavily. He regretted telling Stella the truth. If Stella knew that she would be quiet after finding out about Garry's return, she would have chosen to hide him from Stella and pretended not to know.

Davin's car drove to a restaurant not too far from the office. There, he immediately took Stella down and ordered food.

“Stella, what do you want to eat?” ask Davin.

“Anything, Vin,” reply Stella briefly.

Hearing that, Davin then ordered the same food for them. After the waiter went to the kitchen, Davin again looked at the dreamy-looking Stella.

“You became more quiet after knowing that Garry was coming home,” Davin said, starting a conversation. “Is there anything that bothers you, Stella?”

Stella shakes. “No, Vin,” reply is short.

Stella's feelings were really mixed. He didn't know how to explain it to Davin. That's why he chose to be quiet.

Hearing that Garry was coming home, Stella recalled the last short message Garry had sent her before the man left. The woman bit her inner lips, fear slowly flowing into the recesses of her heart.

“Then, why did you just shut up from earlier?” ask Davin again.

Stella breathed. “That's just your feeling.” Stella dodged even though she herself was also aware that Davin's words were true. He was just quiet from earlier. Stella just doesn't know how she's going to explain what's in her head to Davin.

“Do you still love Garry?”

The question suddenly slid from Davin's lips. There was a sense of worry and fear that blended one in Davin's heart. She was afraid that with Garry returning, this woman before her would change her mind and again ignore him.

“If you still love Garry, I'll back off. I will not hinder your happiness, Stella,” Davin continued.

“I feel if something will happen after this, Vin,” reply Stella.

Davin grabs Stella's hand, then squeezes it. “Trust me, everything will be fine,” he said with a gentle smile to soothe Stella's anxiety.

After dinner, Davin drove Stella home. Just as Davin's car stopped in front of Stella's boarding house, they could see Garry standing in front of the gate carrying a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

“Garry?” stella's great-grandson with perfectly round eyes. His premonition turned out to be right, something was going to happen after Garry's return in Jakarta.

“For what did the man come here?” ask Davin confused.

Stella tapped her shoulders. “I don't even know where she got my new boarding address,” Stella replied no less confused.

Stella didn't come down. He chose to stay still in the car while regulating his heartbeat.

“Do you want to meet Garry? If you don't want to, I'll take you away from here,” Davin said, worried.

“It's okay, Vin. I'll meet Garry and ask him what his purpose is to come here,” Stella replied.

Davin nodded in understanding.

Stella got off Davin's car.

Garry who saw this immediately ran to Stella.

“Garry, what are you doing here?” ask Stella.

“Stella, I miss you so much,” Garry said as he pulled Stella into his arms.

While Stella could only silently peck in place, it had not been able to digest what had just happened.
