Stella took a deep breath before she finally stepped out of the airport. His steps felt so heavy, his breathing was choked as well. During the journey from the city to the island destination, Stella held back her tears so as not to shed. The woman tried hard to strengthen herself so that no one would know if she was sad right now.
The woman took the sunglasses out of her bag, then put them on. He deliberately wears glasses to cover his eyes that are reddened by holding back tears. Even her tears had been welling up in her eyes since.
On the other hand, Davin who was on the same plane as Stella walked a little distance from Stella. She wanted to go to Stella and calm Stella down. But now doesn't seem like the right time. Therefore, Davin chose to be quiet while walking around Stella.
Exiting the airport, Stella gets into one of the taxis that will take her to the inn.
“Goodbye, Garry,” muttered Stella while staring out the window.
In this place, he would calm down. Hoping that when he returned, he had already become a much stronger person than before. Stella promised herself that after this, Stella, who had always received whatever treatment Garry would lose, was replaced by a powerful figure who would not allow any man to trample on her pride.
Stella's car finally arrived near the inn not far from the beach. Stella took a deep breath, filling her lung cavity with the island's fresh air. The woman smiled inwardly. It seemed, the decision to come to this island to calm down was the right decision. This island is not an island that is crowded with tourists or tourists. So it is very appropriate to be a place to calm down.
After putting her things in the inn, Stella took a walk by the beach. The woman stood while staring at the vast expanse of sea before her. The sound of the ripples of waves colliding with the rock sounded as the waves swept over his soles.
The tears that had been blocked in his eyes had finally broken. There, Stella cried out in utter tears, expelling all the sadness that filled her heart.
“This is all unfair. Why did the people I loved betray me?” stella asked the wind that was flying her hair.
His crying sounded bitter. This time, Stella did not hold back all the sadness she felt again. Now, he chose to show what he felt. Hope that after this, the sadness will not reach him again.
“What's my fault and why do you guys do this to me?” Again Stella asked, thinking if the pounding of the waves would give her the answer she craved.
“You're not wrong at all, Stella.”
The words made Stella turn her head. His eyes were round when he saw Davin already standing beside him. He blinked his eyes several times, trying to ascertain whether the one standing next to him was right Davin or not.
“Why are you here, Sir?” stella was confused.
“I can't work without my secretary,” reply Davin origin.
“Do not fabricate. You have a temporary secretary who will replace me.” Stella squints sharply. “Are you following me?”
“Not to be too rigid, we are not in the office,” Davin replied.
“Are you following me?” search Stella. Not immediately getting an answer, Stella sighed again. “Forget it. I don't have the energy to argue with you.”
“You know, Stella. If someone hurts you, it doesn't mean there's anything less than you or you're doing something wrong. Because it is their will. Don't blame yourself for the mistakes made by others,” Davin said, wisely advising Stella.
Hearing that, Stella just kept quiet. But slowly, her tears fell. His heart was so wounded that he did not know what to do but cry and let out his sorrow.
“I just don't understand why they are so willing to do this to me,” Stella said.
Davin was silent. She knew, right now, Stella did not need someone to lecture her regarding what was happening. All he needs is someone who wants to be a listener to his story.
“During this time, I believe in Garry and Feby. I thought they were just ordinary friends. I don't know if it was that night ... That night ...”
Stella was crying. He couldn't continue his sentence because the thorn seemed to pierce his throat whenever he wanted to talk about the night he caught Garry and Feby's affair.
“I still did not expect that night I would catch them both making love,” complained Stella followed by a sobbing cry. “I don't know what the reason is. I don't even know when they've been doing it all. Heart's broken. It hurts so much.”
Davin rubbed Stella's back.
“Hey, relax. At least you know everything before it's too late,” Davin said in a soft tone.
