Davin speaks a thousand languages. The man stared straight at Stella's marbles with a gaze that was hard to decipher. After digesting the sentence asked by Stella, she slowly nodded her head.

Stella's question draws Davin ‘tuk back to the events of the past that she had long buried deep. The man was looking for a comfortable position to sit in, because really, what he wanted to tell was not something that made him comfortable.

The man took a deep breath. His eyes closed for a moment while collecting pieces of memory that were still neatly stored in his memory. Memory mixed between good and bad.

“I've been in love,” said Davin, starting his story.

Stella tilted her position so she could face Davin. Hearing that Davin had been in love made Stella so curious about it because all this time Stella knew Davin was a playboy man who likes to change women.

“He was my first girlfriend, also my first love,” Davin continued.

Davin smiled faintly. He recalled how happy he used to be when he managed to get the heart of his love. During her first love affair, Davin never even once felt sad or bored. Every day, all Davin feels is happiness and compassion.

“You sound like you love her very much,” comments Stella. From Davin's tone, he could see that Davin loved the girl so much.

“Then? Yep. She was my first love. I love her so much. We dated for a year. As long as we were dating, we hardly ever had a fight. Every day that I go through with him is just happiness,” explained Davin.

“He's lucky to be loved by someone like you,” chirps Stella with a warm smile. He knows what it's like to love and be loved by the person you love. Life will feel lighter and happier.

Davin shakes. “Unfortunately our relationship does not have a happy ending,” he said then put his shoulder to it.

Davin breathed a heavy sigh. He leaned his body against the back of the garden chair, then turned his head, looking at the sparkling stars in the sky.

One thing Davin doesn't like about his relationship with his first love is how that wonderful relationship should end. Davin still keeps that memory well, as a reminder that love alone is not enough to get the woman he loves.

“What happened?” ask Stella. For God's sake, Stella looks like a detective now. But, he doesn't care. He's curious about how Davin's love life is.

“She was married to someone else. A rich man. I also didn't understand because from the beginning of our relationship, her parents didn't seem to mind. But, all of a sudden he was betrothed to a man much richer than me,” Davin replied.

“So that's why you're a playboy?” This question came out of Stella's lips spontaneously after hearing a story from Davin about her love story that ended tragically.

“Not all women are equal, Gar. You must learn to open yourself up again. You can definitely get a woman who loves you sincerely later,” Stella said.

‘I hope that woman is you, Stella,’ inner Davin while looking straight at Stella's iris.

“I hope so too,” replied Davin while nodding his head.

“You haven't answered my second question,” Stella said.

“Which question?” ask Davin confused. Telling him about his past, Davin forgets that Stella asked him two questions.

“Have you ever slept with your ex-lovers?” ask Stella.

Ever since Garry and Feby's affair, Stella has felt she wanted to know if the man she was close to would be honest about it. Well, even though he didn't feel that Davin was approaching him. But, he wanted to know if Davin was the same as Garry or not.

“Ya.” Davin nodded. “I first slept with a woman was with my first love. I am also the first man for him,” Davin replied honestly.

Stella squinted her eyes. “Then, what about your other ex-lovers?”

Davin shakes his head. For some reason, Stella had a strong reason behind the question she asked her. Later, Davin will find out why.

“From the many women I have dated, I only slept with two women,” explains Davin.

Stella nodded her head. He was happy to see Davin being honest with him. The man did not pretend to be good and perfect. Stella appreciates Davin's honesty.

“You yourself how? Did you sleep with a man?” Davin asked, wondering about Stella.

Stella shakes.

“That's why Garry cheated on me,” Stella replied.
