Having good experience and achievements while taking studies abroad makes Davin immediately gained the confidence to become director of a German branch company in Jakarta. Davin even got a good reception from office employees.

Gts ... Gts ... Gts ....

The sound of knocking on the door sounded. Davin took his eyes off the computer, then said, “Masuk.”

Right after, a man entered while carrying a few piles of documents.

Through his eyes, Davin invited men who were none other than HRD in the company to sit down. Earlier, Davin called HRD to come to his room because he wanted to ask about a new secretary for him. Incidentally, the old company secretary had just resigned after marriage so Davin had to find a new secretary.

“Have you got a new secretary for me?” ask Davin. To be honest, working without a secretary is very difficult because the work becomes piled up and he has difficulty organizing work schedules.

“Not yet, Sir. But, we've got some candidates.” The HRD put the documents he brought on Davin's desk. “Almost all candidates have qualifications that are not much different.”

“Really?” davin asked, raising his eyebrows.

The HRD nodded. “True, Sir. All candidates have good internship experience and also graduates from the best universities in the country,” he explained.

“But?”

“But, we don't know what kind of secretary you need. Therefore, I brought some of this CV so you can choose your own secretary,” replied HRD.

“No need. Choose what you think is best. I don't care who will be my secretary, the most important thing is that I can get a secretary as soon as possible.” explained Davin.

“Good, Sir.”

Just as the HRD was about to take back the document he had brought, Davin's eyes accidentally saw a photo of Stella on the top of the document.

“Wait, wait,” Davin said when HRD was about to stand. “Can I see the top CV?”

“Bby, Sir,” replied HRD while handing over the CV that Davin intended.

Seeing if the CV really belonged to Stella, Davin smiled inwardly. ‘The world is so narrow it turns out,’ inner Davin.

“Call a candidate named Stella and do an interview. If necessary, just accept him directly,” explained Davin.

“Good, Sir. Then excuse me,” said HRD Davin company.

Stella is currently sitting in the passenger seat of a taxi while squeezing the end of her skirt. He was on his way to the company he was applying for to conduct an interview today. His heart was pounding, sweat soaking his palms. Stella was so nervous because this would be the first job she did after college.

Stella took a sip of her saliva, then tidied up her appearance once more before getting off the taxi. “Thank you, Sir,” said Stella. After paying the taxi fare, he stepped down.

Stella stared at the skyscraper that stood firmly before her. After taking a deep breath, he went inside.

“Good morning, can I help you?” greet the receptionist when he sees Stella entering the company building.

“Good morning. I am Stella, I have an appointment with HRD of this company,” explained Stella.

“Oh, please enter the elevator. The HRD room is on the second floor,” explained the receptionist.

After thanking her, Stella left according to instructions from the receptionist.

The interview conducted by Stella did not take long because HRD has been ordered by Davin to immediately accept Stella as his secretary. This interview is just a formality because Stella has actually been chosen.

Stella walked out of the interview room with a three-finger smile on her face. The woman did not expect that she would quickly get an interview call and be accepted immediately without any difficulties at all during the employee admission process. HRD said, Stella can go straight to work tomorrow. Stella was happy to hear that.

On the way home, Stella could not wait to give the good news to her parents. He also called them directly.

“Halo, Ma?” greet Stella.

“Hello, Stella. How are you doing in Jakarta?” ask Dini.

“Good Stella News, Ma. Ma, there is good news I want to tell you,” Stella said.

“Really?”

“Ya.” Stella stopped her speech for a moment. “Is there Papa there too? I want Mama and Papa to hear it directly from me.”

“Papa here, Stella,” says Anton. “There is good news what?”

“Papa and Mama remember, ‘kan, if I ever tell you if I apply for a job in a company that is big enough?”

“Ya, of course we remember it,” reply Early.

“I'm accepted!!” exclaim Stella happy.

Hearing that, Dini and Anton were happy to hear that. They congratulated Stella and said they would wish Stella all the best.

“Congratulations, Stella. Hope you can succeed in Jakarta!”
