Men Sucks

“My name is Davin Elmar.” Davin stretched out his hand towards Stella, then connected her sentence, “And you?”

Stella looked at Davin's outstretched hand without any intention of replying to the man's hand. However, her mother's sharp gaze made Stella very forced to return Davin's hand.

“Stella,” the answer is short without staring at Davin in the slightest.

Their meeting in Paris two years ago was not a pleasant one. In fact, Stella still feels upset because Davin as heartily admitted her as the man's fiance. Luckily, the woman arguing with Davin left. If only the woman went berserk, it would not be impossible if Stella would be the target of her anger, right?

Despite not getting a good reception from Stella, Davin still smiled. Ever since the second in which his eyes landed on Stella, he had not shifted his gaze at all. He looked straight at Stella's face.

Dini and Anton realize the meaning of Davin's eyes. They looked at each other, then smiled meaningfully.

“Stella, Davin, you guys have a chat first. We will meet our colleagues first,” said Anton.

“Oh, sure. Please, Om, Aunt,” reply Davin.

Stella looked at her mother. But as if not understand the purpose of Stella's gaze, Dini actually followed Anton and left Stella alone with Davin.

“So, you are a guy who just graduated S3 abroad and got a job offer in that big company?” ask Stella.

Davin smiled. “You know about that?”

“Of course.” Stella rolled her eyeballs. “My parents couldn't stop talking about it during the trip.”

Davin raised next to his eyebrows. Just as he was about to reply to Stella's remarks, from the stage it appeared that his parents gave him the code to go on stage.

“Sorry, I'll excuse you first,” said Davin to Stella.

“Hm, yes,” reply Stella indifferently.

As soon as Davin left, Stella immediately exhaled a sigh of relief. He then approached the table not far from his current position and took a glass of drink.

“Why should I meet that annoying guy again?” stella grumbled softly, then glanced towards the stage.

The welcoming party of Davin's return to the homeland. Throughout the show, Stella seemed to yawn several times because she was bored with not having a conversation partner. His parents were busy chatting with their colleagues. While Stella who did not know anyone at the party could only sit on a chair while enjoying the dishes served.

Stella was able to breathe a sigh of relief as she was finally able to take off the high heels she wore all night.

Currently, Stella was sitting on the living room sofa while massaging her sore legs. Dini and Anton also sat on the sofa opposite to her.

“Stella, where did you meet Davin before? You guys like you've known each other long enough,” asked Dini suddenly.

Stella just turned her head. “We only met when I was on vacation in Paris. And we don't talk or anything. Just accidentally met,” explained Stella.

He hopes his parents will stop talking about Davin. Stella was upset not playing because all the way home, her parents did not stop talking about Davin. He got tired of hearing his parents.

“Davin is a good guy. He is also very polite and has broad insight, ” said Anton.

“You and Davin can definitely get along easily because you have similar interests in business. And with the knowledge he got, he can definitely teach you many things,” Timpal Dini.

Stella squinted her eyes. He felt that his parents were very hopeful that he could be close to Davin.

“Ma, Pa, if you intend to match me with Davin. I don't want to,” Stella said firmly. “My deal with Garry is not done yet. I'm not interested in being close to any man at the moment.”

Dini and Anton looked at each other, then let out a long sigh. Their intention to bring Stella closer to Davin seems to have been smelled by Stella.

“Didn't your relationship with Garry end soon?” chirps Anton.

That question left Stella silent. The woman looked down on her head while breathing tiredly. He smiled wryly when he realized that the relationship he had with Garry for three years would run aground because of a betrayal.

Early who noticed the change in expression Stella became sad even approached Stella, then patted her on the shoulder.

“Stella do you still love Garry?” ask Dini iba.

Stella took her hand off her shoulder, then stood up. Without staring at her parents, Stella flicked her shoulders.

“Garry's mistake is hard to forgive,” he replied.

After saying that, Stella went inside her room.
