“Davin, I—”
“Oh, there's one more thing we need to talk about, sir. That is about the additional expenditure that we need for the launch event of our latest project,” said Stella, again cutting off Cassandra's speech who wanted to invite Davin to speak.
“Additional expenditure? I have not heard about this,” replied Davin while raising his next eyebrow.
“Not yet? Jesus, Sir! How can you not hear about this?” exciting Stella. Realizing her tone that surprised Davin and Cassandra, Stella also lowered her voice. “I mean, it seems I forgot to convey this to you, Sir.”
Davin's wrinkled furrow is faint. A soft snort came out from his lips. Davin has read all the documents submitted by the company's financials and there is not a single point that says if they need additional expenses. He knows what Stella is doing now. The woman was looking for an excuse to stay in Davin's study and wouldn't let Davin chat with Cassandra.
Thirty minutes passed, Stella still did not give up on staying in Davin's room. The woman was always looking for a topic of conversation about work when usually Stella was never this aggressive in doing her job.
“Davin, can we talk for a minute? Both,” said Cassandra while glancing towards Stella. He had run out of patience because from earlier his words were always cut by Stella.
“Sorry, Mom. But, do you not see if Mr Davin is busy?” sahut Stella's.
“I'm not talking to you,” Cassandra replied firmly. The woman turned her eyes to Davin. “Just a minute, Vin. I promise it won't be long and interfere with your work.”
Davin looked at Cassandra and Stella in turn. Realizing that Stella looks at him as if she does not want him to agree to Cassandra's request, Davin does the opposite.
“Good. We talk outside,” Davin said, agreeing to Cassandra's request. The man stood up. Seeing if Stella was going to protest, she firmly said, “We continue the discussion about this project later.”
Davin walked out of his study followed by Cassandra behind him. The curious Stella hurriedly walked towards the door and peered through the glass. Unfortunately, since Davin and Cassandra chatted far enough away she could not hear anything they were talking about.
Stella flipped her body. With a jolting step he grumbled.
“What do they want to talk about until Davin steps away from me?” grouse Stella. “What's the problem if I hear their conversation? Do they think I'm the paparazzi who will tell everyone about this?”
“What am I thinking about them for? It's good that Cassandra wants to come back with Davin. At least Davin won't like me anymore. That's what I want, isn't it?” aspersons Stella.
“Sial! But I don't like seeing them together. What if they're really going to get back into a relationship?”
Stella continues to grumble and curse Davin and Cassandra. Without the woman noticing, Davin had returned to his room and stood right behind him.
“By God, if they come back I'll—”
Stella's speech was interrupted as soon as she flipped over and went straight to Davin. Stella immediately misbehaved and took a few steps back when she realized that Davin might have heard her grunts.
‘Sial! Since when is Davin back?’ stella asked in her heart, condemning her own stupidity.
“P-Pak Davin?” stella stammered.
“Are you jealous, Stella?” ask Davin with a slanted smile.
“No. Why am I jealous?” elak Stella while turning her gaze the other way, avoided Davin's gaze.
Davin walked over to Stella. With one quick movement the man cupped Stella's face then landed his lips on Stella's lips.
Stella rounded her eyes, shocked by what Davin was doing. A second later, he closed his eyes and returned Davin's kiss.
Davin smiled happily between their kisses. The man is now convinced that Stella likes him but has not dared to start a new relationship.
