Meet Again

Stella steps her legs behind a woman to the elevator. As soon as the elevator opened, they went up to the top floor of the high-rise building.

Today is the first day Stella works at one of the most advanced companies in Jakarta. Before work, Stella was asked to follow one of the employees to the employee room to be explained about what his job was.

“Pak Director at this time does not seem to have come, we will go to my room first. I will explain what job desk you have to do,” explained the employee.

“Good, Mom,” replied Stella.

“The director of this company is new, he just worked here one month ago after moving from abroad. He is also young and handsome. But, do not let it interfere with your work,” said the female employee.

Stella smiles. To him, willing to be as handsome and as young as his boss, he did not come here to look for a soul mate. Instead, he wants to work and add experience. Opening a heart to a man is not in his mind at the moment. Moreover, after what Garry did to him.

Stella and the female employee got out of the elevator, then entered the workspace. The employee did not forget to tell Stella to sit in one of the chairs as she explained about Stella's work.

“The director of this company likes fast and precise work. He's quite a perfectionist. So, I hope you're easily adapted to a pretty harsh work environment. He likes everything perfect. He doesn't like half-work. You also have to be neat and disciplined. Do not be late or fight his words,” explained the employee.

Stella nodded. “Good, Bu.”

“Oh yes, he doesn't like employees who ask a lot. Don't piss him off then he'll be nice to you,”.

Again and again Stella could only nod her head and answer with the word ‘baik’. The employee then explained about what jobs Stella would do after serving as secretary at the company. Not to forget he also gave some company computer access codes.

Exactly one hour after work began, Stella was taken by her boss to her study. Starting today, he will be working in the same room as the company director. After her boss explains to the director that Stella is ready to work, Stella is ordered to enter alone.

“Good morning, Sir. I'm Stella, your new secretary,” Stella said as she stared at the back of a man standing behind her.

Just as the man flipped his body, Stella's eyes rounded wide. He was surprised not to play when he saw that the director of this company was Davin. Stella's jaw hardened, her hands clenched firmly. He was upset that he was going to work with the man. However, as much as possible he remained professional.

“It turns out the world is very narrow,” Stella said sarcastically while smiling widely. “Who would have thought if you were my boss.”

Davin tried to hold back his smile when he heard Stella's words. The man, as always, keeps a professional attitude while in the work environment.

Stella's first day of work went very smoothly. He was grateful because Davin did not interfere or even complicate his work. In fact, if nothing really mattered about work, Davin hardly ever asked her to speak up. Stella is grateful that Davin has been able to maintain his professionalism.

“Stella, don't forget to set my schedule for the next two weeks,” Davin commands from behind his computer.

“Good, Sir. Is there anything else I can help you with?” stella asked as she turned her head towards Davin's desk.

“Contact the marketing department and say that we have a meeting tomorrow morning,” Davin replied.

“Good, Sir,” Reply Stella.

That was the only conversation that took place between Stella and Davin today. Until finally the working hours were finished and Davin started to do something he really wanted to do since then.

As someone who could not see a beautiful woman without approaching her, Davin began to launch his action to get close to Stella. Seeing Stella cleaning her desk, she approached the woman.

“Stella.”

Stella raised her head, finding Davin standing in front of her.

“Iya, Sir? Is there anything I can help you with?” reply Stella.

“Is your residence far from here?”

Stella frowned confusedly. “That is, Sir?”

“I want to take you home,” Davin replied with a faint smile.

“Oh, no need, sir. I can go home in a taxi. I'm not going to bother you.”

“I don't feel bothered.” Davin stared straight at Stella's iris. “I must know where you live so that if there is a sudden job, I can approach you,” continued Davin, alibi.
