After making sure that no one was left behind, Stella pulled her suitcase out of the inn. Just outside the bedroom door, she saw Davin also coming out of her room while carrying a suitcase.

“You ready?” ask Davin.

Stella nodded. “Ya,” the answer is polite.

“Good. I've booked a taxi. Come on, we're out,” Davin said.

After check-out from the inn, Stella and Davin get into a taxi that will take them to the airport. Today, they will return to the reality of life and return to Jakarta.

Stella's heart was pounding at the thought of what would happen after her return. Because to be honest, Stella is not ready to go home and meet again with Garry and Feby. He's not up to it yet.

Davin looked at Stella who was silent while looking out the car window. The man cleared his throat, making Stella turn towards him.

“Are you nervous? If you are not ready to go home, you can extend your leave,” Davin said.

Stella shakes. “I'm fine. After all, it's not nice if I take too long off. I can be fired,” reply Stella.

Davin chuckles small. “I am your boss. I promise I won't fire you,” he said confidently.

Stella smiled, then turned her gaze again without replying to Davin's words. He knew Davin had the power to grant him an extension of leave. But, Stella does not want to constantly run away from reality. Sooner or later, he has to move on with his life, right?

“Stella ...”

Davin's call made Stella turn. He raised his eyebrows, as if asking what was going on. Because Davin never opened his mouth, Stella took over to speak.

“Dav, I'm so grateful that you helped me so much here. You also always accompany me and comfort me,” said Stella.

Davin smiled broadly. “No need to thank. This is nothing,” Davin replied.

Stealing Stella's attention is probably a very difficult thing for Davin. Davin was therefore quite happy just to be allowed into the woman's life.

“There is one thing I asked of you ...” Stella stopped her speech, doubtful whether she should say it or not. He was only afraid that Davin misunderstood his words and was angry.

“What's up?” ask Davin confused.

“After we go home and get back to our lives, I want you to forget whatever happened during the holidays here,”. He took a deep breath, then continued his sentence, “I want us to behave normally like superiors and subordinates so that I am comfortable working.”

“Alright, I agree,” reply Davin without hesitation.

After a long journey, Stella finally arrived in Jakarta.

The woman entered a small apartment not too far from her office. The apartment is located on the top floor of a shopping mall. From now on, Stella will stay there.

After taking a break, Stella took her phone from the suitcase and turned it on. Soon she contacted her parents to give her news. He was sure that his parents were waiting for news from him at this time.

“Hello, Stella? You finally called us. Your mother is very worried about you. He even daydreams a lot because you can't be reached,” Anton scolds as soon as their phone is connected.

“Sorry, Pa. I turned off my phone on purpose because I didn't want to be bothered. Sorry, if I've made you both worried,” Stella said as she scratched her nape.

“Stella, you're okay, ‘kan, Darling?” He heard Stella's words. Now, Dini can breathe a sigh of relief after hearing Stella's voice. “Nothing happened to you during the holidays, ‘kan?”

“No, Ma. Mama take it easy, I'm fine. Now I'm back in Jakarta. So, Mama don't worry about me anymore,” Stella replied while chuckling softly.

“Then, what about your mood? Are you much calmer now?” ask Dini.

“Iya, Mother. The holidays changed my mood. Now I'm calmer,” replied Stella.

“Good then. We are happy to hear it.”

Stella chatted with her parents for a few minutes, talking about what happened after Stella exposed Garry and Feby's decay that day.

After the phone disconnected, Stella opened her social media. His eyes widened when he found thousands of notifications coming in. He was surprised to see comments in the form of support from strangers. He did not expect if the incident that happened to him ended up viral on the internet.

“Jeez, does that mean everyone knows about this?” he asked while covering his mouth with his palm.

Stella was happy because so many people supported her. But, on the one hand he also realized that his life might not be peaceful after this. However, Stella is determined to keep her day well.

“Welcome to my new life,” muttered Stella with a big smile.
