Stains In Love

Stains In Love
Will You Be My Beloved?

“Stella, there's a guest for you. Come on, get out,” said Dini to her daughter.

Without feeling it, a year has passed. Currently, Stella is taking a leave of absence and returning to her hometown. After a year of keeping busy with work and trying to forget about Garry and Feby, Stella decides to go home with her parents.

“Who's coming, Ma?” stella asked as soon as she opened the door to her room.

“There's Davin's parents coming to see you,” replied Early. His hand held Stella, taking the woman to the living room.

Stella can only follow her mother.

“Stella, how are you? We haven't seen each other in a long time said Rianti, Davin's mother.

“My news is good, Aunt,” Stella replied with a polite smile.

“Are you happy working with Davin? He didn't give you a hard job, ‘kan?”

That question made Stella chuckle. The woman shook her head.

“No, Aunt. Davin is a good boss. Cuman, sometimes he is too perfectionist only,” reply Stella.

Stella had a small chat with her parents and Davin's parents. In the midst of their conversation, suddenly the door was knocked. Stella's mother opened the door and was shocked to find Davin coming to Stella's house.

“Davin? You also took a leave?” stella was confused.

Davin nodded. “Iya. Just two days, kok,” reply Davin. “By the way, I haven't been around in a long time. May I take Stella out, Om, Auntie?” the man asked for permission.

“Of course,” replied Stella's father without hesitation.

Stella and Davin say goodbye and leave. While Stella's parents and Davin's parents smiled happily. They think Davin and Stella's relationship is getting closer.

Stella and Davin set their feet down the still-so-soothing country streets. That afternoon the weather was not too hot so they could enjoy their trip without worrying about the sunlight that stung their skin.

“When did you come home here?” ask Stella.

Stella rolled her eyeballs. “Tell me if there's nothing you can tell me to make you a drink if you're overtime,” sneer Stella.

“Yes, that's one of them,” Davin replies while raising his shoulders.

“Basic sucks!” grouse Stella.

Davin laughed a little. “No need to grumble like that. After all you usually don't protest either,” Davin said as she ruffled Stella's hair.

“Hey, don't mess with my hair!” namel Stella, trying to get Davin's hand off her head.

The two of them continue on their way to Stella's parents' estate. On one side of the estate that was quite quiet, Davin suddenly stopped his steps, making Stella also stop.

“Stella, there's something I want to tell you,” Davin said.

“Ya already, just say,” reply Stella relaxed. He didn't think much about what Davin would reveal to him.

Davin grabbed Stella's hand, grasping it tightly. His heart was beating fast. The look in her eyes looked straight at Stella's iris eyes which seemed to be flashing in confusion. A moment later, Davin reveals what has been entrenched in his chest, regarding his feelings for Stella.

Davin took a deep breath, then began his sentence, “Stella, I know that we have not known for a long time and I do not know whether you are ready or not to accept a new person in your life.”

Stella looked at Davin with one eyebrow raised. He was confused by Davin's direction of conversation.

“I like you. Ah, naw. I'm in love with you. No woman could ever make me fall in love again. But, after getting to know you, I was finally able to return to loving someone sincerely. Stella, will you be my lover?”

Stella was silent for a moment hearing that.

“Sorry, I can't.” Stella takes her hand out of Davin's. He was not ready to open his heart to a new man. “Don't like me, Vin. I don't want to feel awkward at work.”

Davin nodded his head with a disappointed face. They also went home. However, there was one thing that Stella realized ....

Davin's attitude changed, and Stella didn't like it.
