EP.82 PAPA where?

Days passed and Sammy never talked about his father. However, the boy often felt sad that every schoolmate was picked up by his father or when his friends told him how great his father was.

"My father's a cop, he always catches criminals.."

"My dad works in the office but we always go for a walk every weekend."

"If my daddy's a lawyer, I don't know what a lawyer is but he's great.."

"Sammy, if your papa?" ask a friend.

"My father. I.." said Sammy embarrassedly.

"Sammy doesn't have a papa?" ask friend.

"Sammy doesn't have papa, Sammy doesn't have papa. yeyeye.." taunted the other kids.

"I have papa, he's a great doctor..!" reply Sammy does not want to lose.

"Oh yeah, but he never picked you up."

"He's always busy knowing." Sammy replied.

"Sammy lied.. Sammy lied, said your papa teacher's mother is dead" said one.

"I have papa.. Point..!" said the boy then ran towards the deserted park.

The boy was crying alone and could not contact his mother because he knew she was still working. And again Sammy doesn't understand what his mother said about getting married. He hid himself until the lesson was over and the teachers were busy looking for him.

"You know where Sammy is?" ask their teacher.

"No ma'am." Get them all back.

"What happened to Sammy? you have to be honest or you can't all go home" said the teacher.

"Sammy, he's angry because they said Sammy doesn't have a papa" one of the men said.

"You can't say that, it's not Sammy's will but his name's destiny. Hurry up and find Sammy and apologize, or the teacher won't let you go home" the teacher said.

"Good ma'am." they said in unison.

The boys search for Sammy everywhere and the teacher finds Sammy in the music room. Sammy seemed to be asleep there with his eyes closed.

The teacher called Daphny and asked her to pick up Sammy because of today's incident. All the students apologized to Sammy for saying no good.

Daphny who was contacted immediately rushed to Sammy's school. He also drove a car to get to the school. Upon arriving, Daphny is greeted by Sammy's homeroom teacher and recounts the events.

Daphny also felt sad because his son was overwhelmed because he had no papa. The figure of the father he asked at that time also made Daphny so devastated because his son accepted this. Then Daphny came to his son who was in the playground with another teacher watching him.

"Sammy.." call Daphny.

"Mamaa.." replied the boy ran into Daphny's embrace.

"Mama sorry.. Sammy was naughty today." said Sammy.

"Sammy ran away and didn't take lessons. Sammy sleeps in the music room." said Sammy honestly.

"Once skipping class is fine too, let's get Sammy home now" said Daphny.

"No dear, let's go home" said Daphny.

Sammy smiled because his mother was not angry with him. At first Sammy was afraid that he would be scolded for ditching and hiding during lesson time. But since Daphny taught him not to lie, the boy was honest, though he was afraid of being scolded.

Along the way home, Sammy was silent as usual. It makes Daphny afraid that his child's psychic is shaken by the bundle.

"Sammy wants some ice cream?" ask Daphny.

"You.." said Sammy.

"OK. let's go.." said Daphny to take her out for ice cream.

"Mama doesn't work?" ask Sammy.

"Mama also wants to skip it. Sammy alone can.." replied Daphny smiling.

"Yeayyy. truant with mama." said Sammy.

The two went for a walk and ate ice cream. Then go to the kids playground and spend the whole day together. Daphny wanted to cheer Sammy up that day so that his son would not be distracted by his psychic and friends.

The boy was running around here and there and was very happy to play with his mother who was always busy working. And Daphny realizes that Sammy sometimes needs himself too even though Daphny always takes time off every day.

"Mama..Sammy likes mama truant." said the plain boy.

"Yes.mama also likes.so enjoy today because we've been truant" said Daphny.

"Tomorrow can we skip?" ask Sammy.

"It can't be just today, and we can play again when mama's off" said Daphny.

"Okay promise." said Daphny.

After making Sammy happy, Daphny took him home. He saw that his son was exhausted. Even before going to bed, Daphny took the time to talk to Sammy.

"Honey, it was at school why did Sammy skip? try to be honest with mom." asked Daphny.

"Sammy was ridiculed for not having a papa" Sammy said sadly.

"Sammy doesn't have no papa, but Papa Sammy is gone" Daphny said.

"Oh, but Sammy said that Sammy had a great doctor's father" said Sammy.

"I mean Uncle Kenzo?" ask Daphny.

"Yes.mama's not mad, is she?" reply Sammy.

"No, mama's not mad" said Daphny.

"Hmm. Mama can't uncle Kenzo pretending to be papa Sammy." said Sammy.

"Who did you learn the word "pretend" from?" ask Daphny.

"From the movie, yes ma.." said Sammy.

"Later mama ask first, uncle can or not" said Daphny smiling.

"Okay, thank you mom" said Sammy.

"Now Sammy is sleeping it's night" said Daphny.

"Yes, good night mom" said Sammy.

After hearing the phrase Sammy who needs a papa figure, makes Daphny think if he was too selfish all this time? But there's no way he's even contacted James who can mess up his peace of life. Then will Daphny accept Kenzo? I don't think Daphny is ready for that.

And the next day Daphny talks to Kenzo about Sammy. Kenzo is willing to help him, let alone help, marry Daphny when Kenzo is very ready.

"Don't pretend, so the real papa is ready, too." Kenzo replied.

"You still don't give up?" ask Daphny.

"I told you once, there's no giving up in the dictionary of my life" said Kenzo.

"I'll think about it." said Daphny, making Kenzo a little hopeful.

"Yes, because Sammy needs a papa figure" said Daphny.

"Okay. Then instead you should go on a date with me if I pick up Sammy" Kenzo said.

"OK. provided my son is happy." said Daphny.

"You should also learn to like me then" said Kenzo smiling triumphantly.

"I don't promise." replied Daphny.

"Yes I will make you like me." Kenzo replied.

Kenzo's years of waiting finally paved the way for him to be with Daphny. Slowly but surely Daphny has given him that opportunity through Sammy. Kenzo finds it difficult for Daphny to open her heart because of the wounds she has had from the past.

But that would make him a man who would make Daphny and Sammy happy. And make both of them happy if they live with him later.

Kenzo keeps his promise by picking up Sammy at school. And it makes the boy excited and can show off to his friends.

"Papa.." cried Sammy.

"Sammy. let's go home with papa today. I'm sorry you've been so busy working." Kenzo replied.

After his friends see him, Sammy smiles with Kenzo in the car. Both of them also tos and feel the victory because it has made his friends believe.

"Thank you uncle." said Sammy.

"really? but your mama said you should get married, and Sammy didn't get it." said Sammy.

"Sammy doesn't have to understand right now, anyway uncle will be papa Sammy." said Kenzo.

Kenzo was happy to see the happy laughter of the boy. And also he little by little can take the heart of his mother like once rowed two three islands exceeded.
