EP.24 The Arrival of Mother-in-law

Lyra makes her way to the parking lot looking for James, but someone approaches her. The man is none other than Fero, his former lover.

"Lyra.." call Fero.

"Yes.. what's wrong with senior?" ask Lyra.

"You want to go home?" ask Fero.

"Yes, I'm sorry I got picked up" said Lyra.

"Wait a minute, talk to me." said Fero.

"I've been picked up by a senior, sorry maybe next time" Lyra said, then her phone rang again and James's number reached her.

"Hallo, yes soon I'm in the parking lot" said Lyra and left Fero just like that.

And Fero increasingly looks sad, after the relationship ran aground in the hands of his own mother now he has to watch the ex-lover he still loves has become the wife of others.

Meanwhile, Ben and James have been in the parking lot since 1 hour ago. But James is reluctant to contact Lyra because of her prestige, while Lyra has not yet appeared even though many students have left their classes.

"Is she a fierce or chatty mother-in-law?" ask Lyra spontaneously.

"Alright" said Lyra nervously.

After arriving at the airport, Lyra followed James' footsteps to the welcoming place of her mother. The bodyguard was also there. Before long, there appeared a beautiful woman who did not look old at the age of 50 years.

James welcomes his mother and is followed by Lyra. Lyra also introduced herself to her mother-in-law named Vina.

"Welcome, mom." said James.

"Thank you baby for picking up, is she your wife?" ask Vina.

"Yes, his name is Lyra" said James.

"Hallo greetings know my mother Lyra, welcome to Jakarta" said Lyra.

"Thank you for Lyra's welcome" said Vina.

Vina whispered to her son. "Not Bad son." he said.

James smiled a little at his mother's words. Then they head to their mom's favorite restaurant and eat together. There Lyra was very nervous and didn't talk much.

"Lyra I heard you were 19 years old." Vina opened the conversation.

"True mom. I am also still studying." replied Lyra.

"What department did you take?" ask Vina.

"Medicine mom." said Lyra.

"Wow.you are beyond my expectations." said Vina.

"Where did you meet James.?" ask Vina.

"Grandfather set us up mom." said James.

"Where was your future wife? until Lyra replaces him?" ask Vina to the point.

"There was someone who threatened and harmed her with her family, so they just canceled the wedding" James said.

"Have the culprit been arrested?" ask Vina.

"Does that make sense? I think that's a made-up excuse." ucao Vina.
