EP.45 Lies

Lyra who only slept a few hours woke up in the morning. He was used to his routine, not to mention this morning he also had to work. Lyra wakes up and cooks breakfast. After that he will return to his room to get ready for work.

After preparing, he looked at James who was still asleep. And I don't know what happened to her last night, because Lyra doesn't believe her story. He just looked at her after he was ready, without waking her up. After that, Lyra went downstairs to have breakfast and left for work.

Ben was also not in good condition, until he had not woken up. Lyra was only breakfast alone and left a message to the waiter to give breakfast to her husband and also Ben her secretary.

After that, Lyra drove her car to the hospital where she worked. His mind was still chaotic but he tried to stay focused. And no matter how difficult the problem is Lyra always calm and live it well. There was nothing wrong in his work, but he chose to take a nap during the break.

"Lyra.." call Kenzo who's standing right in front of his desk.

"Hmm. prof. sorry.." said Lyra.

"Are you tired? it seems you're sleep deprived." said Kenzo.

"Yes.I couldn't sleep last night.What's the matter prof?" ask Lyra.

"Lusa will have surgery, and you will be my assistant" Kenzo said.

"Good prof.." said Lyra.

"Patient xxx is the patient that we will operate the day after tomorrow.. You learn yes and observe before surgery." said Kenzo.

"Good Prof. "reply Lyra.

"If you're not feeling well, just rest.I'll take your place today" Kenzo said.

"No, isn't the professor coming home soon?" ask Lyra.

"Yes, but I can help you" said Kenzo.

"No prof, I'm fine." said Lyra.

"All right, just tell me if you're in trouble." Kenzo replied.

"Of course prof." said Lyra smiling.

Lyra's smile also made her heart feel calm after seeing the woman look tired. And I don't know what made him back up so he couldn't sleep that way. Kenzo was a little anxious though couldn't do much because Lyra always covered her life.

Come to think of it, Lyra's lover is herself a good man?? and is Lyra happy? because Lyra rarely talks about it in the office. Kenzo's thoughts were on many topics, but he realized that he could not get into Lyra's personal life.

Meanwhile, James woke up when the sun was already scorching. He realized that Lyra must have gone to work. And when he got off, James asked the waiter at his house. And they said that the nonanya had left early in the morning and had prepared breakfast.

James went to the dinner table and asked to prepare his wife's cooking. But he saw Ben was already there and ate first.

"Ck. You eat first of me." said James.

"Sorry James, I'm hungry to find you all night." said Ben.

"Is the office okay we haven't arrived at this time?" ask James.

"I've been contacted by the secretaries and asked for time because you're not feeling well" Ben said.

"Good Ben." said James.

Then James had breakfast and went to work with Ben. They also have to keep working even though the condition is not good. And anyway James owns the company so there's no problem if he goes to the office during the day.

Upon arriving at his office, Bella appears to be there waiting for him. Ben is upset and leaves his master with Bella. I don't know what they're gonna talk about.

"What's wrong?" reply James to the point.

"Let's talk in a more private room" Bella smiled.

James takes her to a quiet meeting room and no one dares to go in but Ben. Until Sandra's secretary was banned from entering the room.

"Say what do you want?" ask James.

"Do you remember last night?" ask Bella.

"I know, but it was a mistake and remember I was married" James said.

"I get it, but in exchange you have to compensate for your actions" Bella said.

"Compensation? don't you enjoy it too? so you're not harmed, are you.?" james' reply was upset that he had been framed and now Bella was about to rob him.

"Listen to me first James" said Bella.

"Say..I want to hear a woman mura*** and you want what." said James.

"Ckk.. You're too demeaning to me James. But I'll still talk nicely. As compensation I'm asking for project C that you're going to do with the foreign company" Bella said.

"Is your company capable?" ask James.

"You underestimated me and my people?" ask Bella.

"No, it's just that if you fail you have to make up for the loss" James said, attacking Bella.

"OK, but you have to give it to me" Bella said, taking out a number of photos where they did the hot night.

"Ck. So it's true that you did it on purpose last night?" ask James.

"Alright, you can take the project, but keep everything secret especially from my family and wife" said James.

"Okay, let's sign Project C now so you don't change your mind" Bella said.

In his heart Bella was furious, how could James be interested in the lowly woman. What's so interesting?? although his profession is currently a doctor, but still his status as an orphan has not changed. Even James was willing to trade big projects to keep his wife's heart and continue to lie for some time.

Bella finally signed the project she wanted. Even Ben blatantly showed his dislike for Bella. But what James did was good for the sake of keeping Lyra and her household feeling. Ben also believes that Bella will not stop acting here, there must be other plans.

Guilt also haunts James for lying to Lyra when the relationship has begun to improve. James even wanted to take Lyra on a honeymoon after several years of a vacant marriage.

"I'm sorry Lyra I have to keep lying to you." James murmured inwardly as he looked at Lyra's sleeping face.
