EP.21 First Night

Lyra came out of the bathroom fully dressed. He is also ready to sleep, because according to agreement they will not do anything without the consent of both parties as long as there is no love between them. Lyra is still in college and has to pursue her dreams. And for James his marriage was a formality to please his grandfather.

"Are you going to sleep?" ask James.

"Yes, by the way what should I call you now?" ask Lyra.

"James.

"Well, if that's what you want. Then the bed problem?" ask Lyra.

"You wanna sleep on the couch?" ask James.

"If asked that I certainly don't want to" said Lyra.

"Well, just sleep in this big bed anyway nothing will happen" James said.

"Didn't you feel awkward, sleeping 1 bed with a stranger?" ask Lyra.

"Should I sleep on the couch?" ask James.

"Yes.well I'll sleep here. Then keep your promise." said Lyra.

"Of course." said James.

Of course it was easy for James because he didn't love Lyra. Although Lyra was scared to death the man next to her lost his mind and touched her. Until Lyra can't sleep all night.

Lyra got up from the bed and grabbed her bag that was brought by Ben earlier. There was a book he could read. Finally Lyra also chose to read books and study rather than think that no-not just because beside her there was a man.

The night was getting late even before morning, Lyra was asleep with a book in her hand. He fell asleep on the couch in the room. And when James woke up, he was surprised to see Lyra was not there beside him. Then he looked around and found Lyra asleep on the sofa with a book in her hand.

"Ck. You must be very uncomfortable tonight." muttered James.

James took a shower and went to the office. He left Lyra in the room. Lyra wakes up with an alarm on her phone that goes off.

"Akh. It's not 7." said Lyra.

Lyra got up and went to the toilet. But unfortunately the door was locked and Lyra just realized, yesterday she was married and surely James was in the bathroom.

"Akh. did I skip today, I have no clothes or books for today's course" said Lyra.

"Yes truant today, after all, the time is not enough to go back and forth to the foundation and to your campus.. You haven't had a bath and are ready either." said James.

"Yes, I think so too." said Lyra.

"Today I go to the office, you go home with the driver I've prepared." said James.

"OK." said Lyra.

"Well I go first, maybe half an hour's breakfast will come" James said.

"OK. careful" said Lyra and went into the bathroom.

James left because he had to go back to work. He felt nothing even though he was married. The feeling of love or lust was not in his mind at all. Even he sees Lyra as a child that he must watch over and take care of.

While in his office, only a few people knew about Lyra and didn't know her. Even all the information was sealed off by Simon according to Robert's orders. James also worked hard because their shares had fallen yesterday. Ben even has to overtime tonight to help James.

While Lyra, she was already in the car that was going to go to Robert's mansion. Although already accustomed to Robert, but his new status that makes Lyra a little awkward.

Lyra arrived at the house and was greeted by the waiter there. Robert was waiting for her too. Although the conditions are better but he insisted that he could welcome Lyra at home comfortably.

"Welcome my grandson." said Robert.

"Thank you for the welcome" said Lyra.

"Maybe James is in the office" said Robert.

"Yes, he said he'd be busy till night" Lyra said.

"Yes cake, I'm quite sleepy" said Lyra.

Robert smiled when he saw Lyra who looked sleepy with a daze under his eyes. He had thought that the two stayed up all night enjoying their first night.

"Well Lyra, you rest in the room and the waiter will serve you." said Robert.

"Thank you for the cake" said Lyra and left with the waiter who drove her to James' room.

Lyra was escorted to James's room on the 2nd floor. The large room with a classic design that also looks so big and luxurious in the eyes of Lyra. Then the waiter left her and Lyra saw that some of her belongings had arrived in the room, but she was confused where to put them because the one who had the room had not returned home.

"They're really sat sets until my stuff is here. But James hasn't come home yet and I haven't got permission to put my things where." Lyra murmured inwardly.

Lyra who did not dare to open the contents of James' closet or look at what is in the big room. Until Lyra just fell asleep in the big bed until sound asleep.

Even Robert did not dare wake him up to say goodbye to go abroad. He still thinks Lyra must be tired after spending her first night. Then Robert just leave a message to his servant if he wants to go to Singapore to undergo treatment.

Before heading to the airport, Robert stopped by his company to see James and say goodbye to him. All staff and employees in the office greeted him with great respect. Everyone lowered their heads when Robert arrived and he asked all employees to continue their work.

Now Robert is in James' room, while James is in a meeting with some of the higher-ups.

"Sorry cake, make you wait a long time" said James.

"Yes.I know you're going to be busy today.I just want to say goodbye." said Robert.

"Grandfather left immediately today?" ask James.

"Yes, I did it on purpose so that you and Lyra could be free at home" Robert said.

"I mean grandpa? we're fine." said James.

"Pretend not to understand, whatever but remember James, Lyra is still young but do not get too excited until she is exhausted" said Robert smiled.

"Alright" said James who still does not understand because his brain is thinking about the company.

"OK. remember to use safety" said Robert before leaving and smiling widely.

"Wear safety??" james was silent.

"I mean??. Akh grandpa must have thought there.." said James.

"Of course, sir, that's normal, but what makes Mr. Robert think that?" said Ben.
