At the hospital, Jasmine is very worried about her father, Robert. He waited with a fearful expression in case his father could not be saved. While Eva and Ferdinan were waiting, but with a calmer expression.

Shortly afterwards the doctor came out after a thorough examination and made sure Robert's condition was stable.

"Doctor what about my father?" ask Jasmine.

"We found a number of toxins in Mr. Robert's body, but we are still investigating what kind of poison entered his body" said the doctor.

"Then how's doc?" ask Jasmine.

"The condition is still weak, but it has stabilized and has gone through a critical period" said the doctor.

"Thank God." said Jasmine.

"The next few hours maybe the lab results of the poison will come out." said the doctor again.

"Well, thank you doc." said Jasmine.

"Finally my father survived" said Eva lying when she was so eager for her father to die quickly in order to get his inheritance.

"Mom better go home, grandfather's condition is stable" said Ferdinan.

"alright.. We go home first, Jasmine." said Eva.

"Yes, please." said Jasmine.

How could they go straight home without seeing her in the room?? that's how Jasmine thinks. But for him this is common because Eva is just thirsty for her father's treasure.

They just went home, and a look of disappointment appeared on Eva's face. How could his plan fail?? it must be because Lyra said that her father had been poisoned, she thought. While Ferdinan, he did not know about the actions of his mother. What he thought was the condition of his mother who was shaken because his grandfather was suddenly poisoned.

A few minutes later, James arrived with Lyra. The two headed straight to Robert and James's room to learn about his poisoned grandfather and tightened security around the room and hospital.

"Mother how is grandpa?" ask Lyra.

"The condition is stable but still weak, so we can only visit it for a while" said Jasmine.

"All right, so is it true that grandfather was poisoned?" ask James.

"Yes, and in the next few hours the lab results will come out" said Jasmine.

"Okay, I'll handle it." said James.

"All right, I'll be standing guard in front of dad's room" Jasmine said.

"You just go home" James kicked Lyra out.

"Well, I'll go home after seeing Grandpa" Lyra said.

Lyra and James enter the ICU room where Robert is being treated. Robert was unconscious and Lyra was sad to see him. While James stared at him intensely, how could this old man make him sad if he was lying weak like this, while being healthy he always made James troubled and upset.

"Based on old man, how could you be this way? I should have taken care of your guard." James murmured inwardly.

After a few minutes, Lyra and James left the room. Their faces were so sad and upset. Lyra said goodbye because she was advised to go home.

"Mother, tomorrow I'll come and bring you a change of clothes" said Lyra.

"Yes, thank you dear.You're home late." said Jasmine.

"Yes mother" said Lyra.

"I'm sorry sir." said Lyra.

"Hmm." James replied briefly while focusing on his phone.

Lyra came home in a taxi because it was very late. And he also told some staff at the foundation that Jasmine would take care of her ailing father for a few days without mentioning the poisoning incident. "This is your order, along with the breakfast you asked for." said Lyra.

"Thank you Lyra.. Would you like to see me for a minute or leave?" ask Jasmine.

"I'll see grandpa for a second. Mother how is her condition?" ask Lyra.

"It's improved, so grandfather was moved into this room" Jasmine said.

"Good, this place is more comfortable than it was yesterday" Lyra said.

"Of course." - James replied.

"James.you are a surprise." said Jasmine.

"You're finally noisy" said James.

"I just came to deliver clothes and food" said Lyra.

"It's good that you're finally useful" James said.

"Oh my God, his mouth is spicy like chicken chili. " Lyra grunts in the heart.

"If you'll excuse me, I have morning class" Lyra said.

Lyra passed by, and left the room before she got even more upset with James who liked to say something he liked. He also rode an online motorcycle to his campus.

Meanwhile, Jasmine changed clothes and enjoyed her breakfast. Lyra brought her favorite nasi uduk complete with fried. Jasmine had deliberately exaggerated it if James wanted to eat as well.

"What did aunt eat?" ask James.

"Nasi sat down, but bought it on the side of the road. If your tongue sultan won't be able to swallow it." Jasmine said.

"Nasi sitting on the side of the road?? is that healthy?" ask James.

"At least it won't make me die" Jasmine said.

James was speechless and only enjoyed the delicious aroma of Jasmine's rice. In his heart he wondered if it smelled as good as it felt. Moreover, there is still one more pack left.

"Is this for me?" ask James.

"Says the village." Jasmine replied.

"I'm just kidding auntie. I'm getting hungry" James said.

"You are the sultan's tongue, just buy good food" said Jasmine.

"Our aunt must not waste food" said James grabbed the package of rice and opened it.

James was slowly looking at the contents in it, where there is sambal, fried vermicelli, tempe orek, then there are fried and krupuk in separate plastic. Slowly James spooned the rice into his mouth. For the first time he found a different taste in his food. Spicy, savory and salty flavors blend, not to mention added krupuk and fried.. Ahh Steady..!

"Enak right.so do not be arrogant to be human" said Jasmine saw James enjoying the rice.

"It's not bad" James said.

"Eat it and don't leave it." said Jasmine and then cleaned up the food marks.

Jasmine also wanted to laugh to see James who enjoyed the rice he had been insulting. Bak licks his own spit, now Jasmine sees that James is educated with a luxurious life just like he was. Even if it wasn't for Kevin himself wouldn't know happiness in simplicity.
