EP.119 Playing the Role

Sammy was upset with Wendy's actions, whether the woman did not understand or how because she still approached when Sammy had put distance and had a lover. If a normal woman is certain they will stay away if a man has a lover, but it seems that is not the case for Wendy.

"Mother and child are both abnormal..!" sammy grumbled inwardly after seeing Wendy return to her hospital.

Sammy accepted the results and explained them to the woman. There seems to be nothing wrong with her condition, until Sammy asks Wendy to take care of her health more.

"Miss, I recommend to maintain health and exercise lightly. Then take this pain medication if it starts to hurt. And you can go to the hospital if the pain does not go away in 3 days" said Sammy.

"What if I'm dying and in pain?" ask Wendy.

"There is a scale between 1-10. if it is still below the scale of 5 it means it can still be handled by taking this drug" said Sammy.

"Well, I'll come back if the pain exceeds that scale" Wendy said and walked out of Sammy's room.

"Haaahh... You shitty woman, how could she be my sister?" sammy muttered in his heart.

Until a knock was heard and Sammy let him in.

"Hi Samm." said Antonio, a fellow doctor who came from Singapore.

"Hi, what's wrong?" ask Sammy.

"The woman who just seemed to come here too often" he said.

"You're right, he seems to have done it on purpose" Sammy said.

"So he's not really sick?" ask Antonio.

"Yes, if he is sick, it is impossible for him to appear like that" said Sammy.

"Yes, I accidentally saw the nurses talking about that woman because they always asked for you."

"Yes that's how he really sucks.If it wasn't for his history of illness I wouldn't be this careful either" Sammy said.

"Well, if you need my help, just say it." said Antonio.

"Okay, maybe I need it later" said Sammy.

Antonio came out of Sammy's room and smiled. Between pity and feeling funny to his friend. Where there are people who pretend to be sick to meet their friends. If you see the history there is no way Sammy will relax so inevitably he examined it carefully.

Elsewhere, it appears Devi is discussing some things with James and some other clients. And Wendy arrived with some requested files.

"Excuse me.." said Wendy.

"Yes, please miss Wendy." said Devi while reading some proposals.

"Dad.this is the file." whispered Wendy.

"OK.." James replied.

"Miss Devi, this is the file you requested earlier." said James.

"Okay, I'll check on you" said Devi to immediately accept and examine it.

"Bob.. Is there an agenda today?" ask Devi.

"After this there is no miss, you just have to finish some files" said Boby.

"OK good.please get your help." said Devi.

"Well miss."

Devi also completed the meeting well and in accordance with the desired results. Then he wanted to eat lunch outside to relieve his fatigue. A phone call appeared on his phone. Sammy was in front of his office waiting for him to take lunch together.

"Sam.you were so sudden" said Devi.

"Surprise.." said Sammy smiling.

"okay.. Let's have lunch." said Devi.

And Sammy saw Wendy get in her dad's car. However, Sammy came out for a while to greet Mr. James and Wendy.

"Mr James. Miss Wendy, it turns out you're here." said Sammy.

"I thought Miss Wendy was really sick because this morning came to the hospital, it was not as sick as it could even still come here" said Sammy.

"Wendy you sick, baby? why didn't you say??" ask James to worry.

"Sorry dad.I just don't want to worry dad." said Wendy.

"So you don't know sir that Miss Wendy has been to the hospital 3x this week.. ?? and I think you should know this." Sammy smiled.

"Wendy you go home now." James asked.

"If it hurts you should be honest with me" James said.

"Well, I just wanted to tell you that, Mr. James, I'm sorry" said Sammy to go and see Devi.

Sammy approached Devi and took her hand. Devi is also getting used to it and Sammy did it on purpose. Devi and Sammy just laughed not because they were happy to meet but happy because they showed their theatrical relationship openly.

"How's my acting?" sammy whisper.

"Very good, you should be an actor not a doctor." Devi replied.

As they whispered to each other, Wendy began to get hot and agitated. He was also arrested by James.

"What is this, baby? " ask James smiling.

"No dad." said Wendy.

"You go home when you're tired" James said.

"No." said Wendy.

"Or do you want an honest story to dad.?" james asked smiling.

Wendy kept quiet and said nothing. While James who already knows just silently understand the condition of his daughter who has begun to like the opposite sex but it seems Wendy likes the wrong person. Because after all Sammy already has a lover, and the woman is Miss Devika the successor to the big Mall. There will be a lot of chaos if Wendy imposes her wishes or annoys Devi.

"Why should you like someone's girlfriend?" james in the Heart.

James stayed silent in the car. And so was Wendy in the other car. James wants to pull his daughter down the right path, and confess his feelings for Sammy.

In the evening after dinner, James invited his daughter to talk 4 points in his room. Wendy's not okay.

"Darling, what's the truth to dad." James asked.

"There's no dad. I'm still fine not as bad as you think." said Wendy.

"I know your physique is fine, but not with your heart" James said.

"How can dad.." said Wendy shut her mouth.

"I am your father and have been with you since birth, I know you better than your own mother. I know you like Dr. Sammuel and purposely visited him 3 times in 1 week. I know everything is my daughter, everything is clearly visible on your face" James said.

"Alright if dad already knows" said Wendy.

"Dad just wants you not to take the wrong path like your mom" James said.

"What does dad mean?" wendy asked confusedly.

"He set me up so I could marry him" James said, telling his daughter everything.

Wendy shed tears hearing that.

"Honey, don't be that kind of woman.if she's your match, you'll meet at the right time" James said.

"I'm saying this so you know, keeping it is harder than taking it. Look at us finally parting ways too." said James.

"Dad wicked..!" wendy.

"Dad just wants you to be mature at your age.You can fall in love but don't force your desires on others. I can fulfill everything you want with my money but except the love of a man" James said.

"I understand." said Wendy and went to her room.

Wendy was crying in her room, she did not expect that her father would say that to her and did not expect the love story of her mother and father would be like that.
