EP.111 Meeting with grandma

Sammy, who had just finished his class, opened his phone and smiled. He knew sooner or later that his biological father's family knew of his whereabouts because they weren't just any family. Sammy was not afraid of it and immediately met them to see the reactions of grandmothers he had never met.

"Grandmother? interesting too." muttered Sammy.

"What's Samm..?" ask Davi.

"I have to see my mom, so I'm sorry I can't come with you guys." said Sammy.

"OK.." said Davi.

Sammy left in a taxi because he still could not drive himself after the terrible tragedy. He met his mother to speak 4 eyes.

Arriving at the clinic, Sammy went straight to his room.

"Sammy. You came straight here apparently."

"Yes ma, so my real father's grandmother knows?" ask Sammy.

"Yes, while there are only 2 people.your grandmother and secretary of your great-grandfather." said Daphny.

"All right, but did they harm you?" ask Sammy.

"No, they're good people, but you have to be careful of a woman named Bella" Daphny said.

"Who else is he?" ask Sammy.

"Women who make me have to jump into the ocean and leave everything in Indonesia" said Daphny.

"He did it? isn't he in jail?" ask Sammy.

"He's free, son, and now he can hang around" Daphny said.

"Mommy take it easy, I'll protect you" said Sammy.

"Yes mama knows, there are you and papa who are always on standby" said Daphny patted his son's back.

"Then what do you want to know?" ask Daphny.

"My grandmother's goal." said Sammy.

Daphny also shared all the information he knew with his son. And Sammy listened carefully. Now Sammy understands, and wants to see how his grandmother is. Whether the old woman loved her and protected her mother or not, because the most important thing for her was her safety.

"OK. I understand ma. thanks for the info." said Sammy.

"Yes.mama will not force you, you can get to know your family and choose your way of life.do everything you want and like Sammy, as long as it is still reasonable" said Daphny.

"Okay ma, I understand." said Sammy smiling.

Sammy left her mother's clinic. He believes they are currently looking for information about him. But Sammy chose to go home and see how her grandmother acted.

The next day, when Sammy dropped out of class with Davi they walked together as usual, and Davi as a friend gave a ride to Sammy who still could not face the trauma of driving a car.

"Where are we going today, bro?" ask Davi.

"We're looking for a quiet place to eat to study." said Sammy.

"Studying?? oh no, you're not cool." said Davi disappointed.

"If you don't want me to go alone" said Sammy.

"OK. okay." said Davi would not agree.

They also walked towards Davi's car, until suddenly some people approached them.

"Sir Sammuel??"

"Yes, what's wrong? I don't have a problem with you guys." said Sammy.

"Please come with us."

"Yes, but who are you? just play with it without a clear purpose." said Sammy.

"It's an order from Miss Devina." they said.

"Mrs Devina? it could be my grandmother." Sammy muttered inwardly.

"You know Samm?" ask Davi.

"Don't know, but I'll follow them." said Sammy.

"I'm coming, if you guys mess I'll report you" Davi said.

"Sorry, only Mr. Sammuel has been asked to come."

"Dav, calm down. I'm fine." said Sammy calming the situation.

"Call me if there's a problem" Davi said.

"Yes.you take it easy." said Sammy.

"All right, I'm coming with you" Sammy said voluntarily.

While Davi looks at them from a distance, Sammy is treated well but has no idea behind him. Davi just wishes Sammy wasn't dealing with the bad guys.

Meanwhile, Sammy sits quietly in their car. There was no fear or tension on his face. Instead, he plays his phone and puts a headset in his ear to listen to music without saying much or asking questions. Sammy is ready for everything.

And they have arrived at a villa. Sammy was asked to come down and directed to go somewhere. Along the way Sammy still did not budge and just obeyed them without asking much.

Even the guards were confused, because there was no resistance or question from the person they were guarding.

"Please sit down, the lady will come" said one.

Sammy sat quietly while listening to music. He is not stupid and looks around. Nothing strange, there are some complete cctv and also the villa looks normal like a building in general.

Until an old woman appeared with her fashionable look. With the look and care of her life, the woman does not look like a grandmother in general.

"Finally you've come." said Vina.

Sammy just gave a smile, while talking in his heart. "Just like what mama was talking about, she still looks youthful with a fashionable look."

"You go.." drive Vina out to her bodyguards.

"Good mistress." Then everyone went and guarded the entrance.

"You don't seem surprised, or did your mother tell you?" ask Vina.

"There are no secrets between me and my mom.. Hello Grandma, we can finally meet." said Sammy smiled as he bent his body.

"You're a very well mannered young man, just like your mother." praised Vina.

"Sit down son." pinta Vina and the two sat down.

"How are you doing, son?" ask Vina.

"Well.. grandma herself?" ask Sammy.

"Grandmother is also good, even though grandma always feels unsettled" said Vina.

"Is there something disturbing?" sammy asked confused.

"Your father is too stupid.that disturbs my grandmother's mind." said Vina.

"Wow, grandma is very honest" Sammy smiled.

"That's a fact, son, so grandma is happy to see you" said Vina.

"Why? I thought even if the Clintons knew about me, you wouldn't budge" Sammy tested her grandmother.

"You've just met already pissed me off, how could I ignore you.. Wendy who came from the snake woman was still considered a granddaughter." said Vina.

"I'm sorry if grandma is offended. So my dad's grandma doesn't mean to be trusted?" ask Sammy to the point.

"Yes, I hold 55% of the inheritance from my father-in-law Robert Clinton and your father 40%. The remaining 5% is held by your father's half-brother" Vina said.

"What does this have to do with me?" sammy asked back to pull back.

"Ck. you're that.." said Vina a little annoyed.

"Don't listen to grandma, grandma can give everything to you, my company shares and all the luxuries" said Vina.

"Then my mom?" ask Sammy.

"You mean..?" ask Vina doesn't understand.

"How is my mother's safety? grandma must know why my mom hid here until she changed her name" Sammy said.

"You're really smart. We can think of it that way." said Vina.

"Sorry Grandma, if the luxury that my grandmother offers threatens my mother's life I choose to be myself, after all we do not lack anything" said Sammy.

"Grandmother can understand, but think again son. grandmother's age is not a productive age anymore" said Vina.

"But the problem is that my dream is to become a doctor and I don't want to leave him" Sammy smiled.

"You inherited your mother's blood, Grandma likes your thoughts, but if you change your mind call grandma anytime" Vina said.

The two talked and ate together. Time goes by, and Sammy has to go. Vina seems comfortable talking to Sammy whom she just met rather than her biological child who she gave birth to. If only, when Vina found Daphny, surely Sammy could replace him to continue his company.

After Sammy left, Simon came.

"How's madam?" ask Simon.

"He rejected Simon, he preferred the safety of his mother, what a filial son." said Vina amazed.

"He does look like a good boy" Simon said.

"What's your plan then?" ask Simon.

"I will leave all my possessions to him.. He can own shares without having to work in the company. At least she didn't reject me as her grandmother" Vina said.

"Well, if that's your decision" Simon said.
