EP.155 Wendy's Death

Time doesn't seem to go too fast either. Likewise with Wendy's growing pregnancy. He had fallen too deep and it was hard to go back. All the treatment and the way James has done, but it does not produce results. Until finally Wendy will give birth.

The first time the door was opened, a nurse appeared, carrying baby Wendy out. James was moved to see his grandson, but that did not indicate everything was okay. Wendy still has to do another operation to get her heart back in trouble.

Minutes passed, and James continued to hope and pray his daughter survived. The operating door was opened the second time, but what was seen was the nurse was rushing to collect blood and couldn't tell her anything.

"What's the nurse doing?" ask James.

"Sorry sir, we're in a hurry."

James was silent in his place. Tears also fell because of concern for the fate of his daughter. Until Vina arrived there to see the condition of Wendy and her baby.

"James how?" ask Vina.

"The baby was born, but Wendy was still inside." she said in tears.

"Keep yourself together, pray that your daughter Wendy will be okay" Vina said.

"Yes mom." said James.

Minutes passed and the two of them waited in the hope that Wendy could be saved. But fate said otherwise, Wendy could not be saved. He died of complications he experienced.

The doctor came out of the operating room and apologized for failing to save Wendy. They all even bowed their heads for failing to save their patients.

"I'm sorry sir, we've tried our best" they said, bowing their heads.

"What?? whatdoes thatmean?? my daughter??" said James.

"Oh my God" said Vina, crying.

"Doctor must have you wrong, check it out again.My daughter must be alive." James said.

"Sorry sir, we have failed."

"James control yourself." said Vina.

"Mom. my daughter." said James.

"All things are destiny" said Vina.

"How could mom..?" said James.

Vina slaps her hysterical son. The doctors were surprised to see that.

"Beware everyone will die someday.and Wendy may have her destiny." said Vina and James were silent.

"Thank you doc. I'm sorry my son he's devastated by the loss of his daughter" Vina said.

The doctors lowered their heads and apologized. While James is still silent because his daughter is now lifeless.

"Pacify yourself.You now have other responsibilities." said Vina.

"I mean mom?" ask James.

"The child that Wendy gave birth to is your responsibility as her grandfather" Vina said.

James was crying again considering the tiny baby that had come out of the operating room that he even forgot because he was waiting for the results of his daughter's surgery. James also realized, if the baby is none other than his grandson is his responsibility. Although the baby was the result of rape, but still the blood flowed to the baby. And Wendy risked her life to give birth to him.

Vina also helps James take care of everything about Wendy and then look at the tiny baby who has not even felt the warm embrace of his mother. They both looked sad at the little baby.
