EP.142 Meeting with Mr. Tian

After speaking a lot, Davi immediately expressed his grandfather's wishes in front of Devi. Sammy was surprised but did not refuse to meet. Devi begins to panic for fear that Sammy will be forced to marry her. Although Devi must be happy but still in marriage must love each other.

"Samm, don't do it if you can't" said Devi.

"I'm not a coward so let me face it" Sammy smiled.

"That's my new friend." said Davi smiling.

"Later I'll arrange Sam's meeting" Davi said.

"Yes tell me." said Sammy.

While Devi is anxious, what her grandfather will plan for. What would be Sammy's fate if they were forced into marriage?? Devi was more silent after discussing this. Sammy and Davi understand and look at each other. Sammy hints at Davi to appease his sister.

Davi also knows Devi well, of course, can face his sister. Sammy will also face master Tian, the grandfather of the two of them. In his mind thinking many things, perhaps master Tian was curious about himself and his relationship with Devi. Especially the reason why Sammy came to the bar when it happened that night.

Long story short, Davi arranged their meeting. And Sammy came to their family's villa. Sammy came by himself with his car that night after work. It's a long distance, but Sammy keeps coming as promised.

When he arrived, he was greeted by security guards and welcomed in. Master Tian had been waiting for him inside and invited him to dinner.

Sammy went into the room.

"Excuse me sir, your guest has arrived" said a waiter who came with Sammy.

"Alright" said Mr. Tian.

"Good night, Mr. Christian." said Sammy.

"Good night, Dr. Sammuel Ivander."

"How was your trip?" ask the old man.

"Fluent service." said Sammy.

"Sit down, let's have dinner first" said Mr. Tian.

"Thank you." reply Sammy.

The two ate together without any sound except for the sound of a fork and spoon. After he finished, master Tian took him to another room to speak with four eyes.

"I heard you were in a relationship yesterday with my granddaughter" said Mr. Tian.

"Yes, that's right sir, just ask whatever you want to know." Sammy smiled back.

"Why did you split up?" ask mister Tian.

"I think that's a pretty personal question, but I'll still answer it." Sammy and Mr. Tian smiled back.

"So we separated because of our respective activities" said Sammy.

"Or are you just pretending?" ask mister Tian.

"So you want to believe which one, sir?" reply Sammy smiled.

"Sadly, you are an impolite young man" said Mr. Tian.

"If you know, why do you ask?" reply Sammy.

"I just want to see how brave you are to face me. You are quite reckless" said Mr. Tian.

"Yes, at first I asked Devi for help, but she also wanted to take advantage of this moment to reject the matchmaking" said Sammy.

"Then the reason you split up? though the matchmaking problem will still continue." said Mr. Tian.

"Because of Mr. James's daughter's scandal and her assault on your home.. Devi decided to stop for fear of you doing something." said Sammy.

"However you are his grandfather of course he is very familiar with your nature" Sammy smiled.

"But why did you come to rescue him at the bar that night?"

"Why? the answer is I'm just worried." replied Sammy.

"You sure you don't like it?" ask mister Tian.

"You sure I can like it?" reply Sammy.

"You're replying to the question with a question.It's really reckless." said Mr. Tian.

"I know you're a very perfectionist, so I'm afraid you're investigating my background and don't like it." Sammy replied.

"What are your shortcomings? I can't even see it." said Mr. Tian.

"I'm also a human master Tian, I definitely have. Honestly, I like Devi, that's a fact." said Sammy.

"Ck. you're very honest as it turns out." said Mr. Tian smiling.

"Then you should get married" said the old man.

"I don't want to lie to you, sir, I'm the son of Mr. James, an ex-convict?" ask Sammy.

"What??? you kidding?? how could your father beat up his own son." mister Tian said in surprise.

"Of course I can.because my mother kept her pregnancy a secret and my whereabouts.there were some dark things that I couldn't tell you about my mother but I'm her legal son not a child outside of marriage" Sammy said.

"You.." said Mr. Tian surprised.

"So, I just want to hear your opinion, sir, because Devi's parents in Singapore know everything about me and definitely agree to it" Sammy said.

"You're threatening this old man?"

"Not really.. How can I deal with you who have power.?" reply Sammy.

"I'll think about it. Remember I haven't agreed to it." said Mr. Tian who was still curious about Sammy's past.

"Alright, then I'm sorry." said Sammy resigned.

Sammy left master Tian, while the old man was so curious and kept silent in his chair. A few minutes later, he asked some people to find out the origin of Sammy's mother.

While Sammy smiles, he throws a bomb before it explodes and destroys everything. Now it was only a matter of waiting for whether master Tian would accept it or not. And think of a way to express her feelings for Devi.

For Sammy to be born without a father he wants Mr. Tian to know everything early. Moreover, the old man was so conservative and concerned with seeds, bebet, the weight of the future husband of his grandson. If Sammy is dishonest and in the middle of the road, Mr. Tian goes berserk, surely everything will be a mess. Sammy also avoids the help of either his biological father James or his grandmother.

The next day, Mr. Tian got what he wanted. Sammy's mother was the first ex-wife of James to have committed suicide. Though it was an assassination attempt, there was even news that made him stunned. Where Sammy's mother survived after jumping into the open sea and going to Singapore by changing her identity and meeting her siblings.

Mr. Tian also considered how James who has now been detained was imprisoned by his own son. As well as the news that the man had cheated on his first wife, the old man worried that Sammy would be just like his real father.

As his favorite grandson, Mr. Tian will not let Devi be hurt by anyone. In order to satisfy his curiosity, Mr. Tian asked his son and daughter-in-law to return to Indonesia. They were surprised but still took time.

After arriving in Indonesia, the interrogation by Mr. Tian took place on Santi and Dion, his son and daughter-in-law.

"Dad..why so curious about my best friend's son.?" ask Santi.

"Tell me the truth." asked Mr. Tian.

"Alright." said Santi.

Santi told me everything, and Mr. Tian listened once again to the story of Daphny and Sammy. Then he fell silent without answering questions from his daughter and daughter-in-law. Santi and Dion did not understand, so they left Lord Tian and visited Devi and Davi to ask further questions.
