EP.18 Defeated

Robert goes back to the hospital and panics Jasmine and Lyra. They went straight to the hospital after being notified. That night, Jasmine and Lyra visit Robert, who suddenly returns to the hospital.

"James what's wrong?" ask Jasmine.

"Grandfather, had a heart attack" said James limp.

"What did you tell him?" jasmine asked because the only one who could hurt her was James.

"Tante even knows it's me" James said.

"Even if I talk to you harshly and loudly, he loves you the most" Jasmine said.

"I've hurt him." said James speechlessly.

"Lyra you go in first." said Jasmine.

Lyra also entered because it seems that Jasmine wants to have a four-eye talk with James. That's where James told Jasmine everything. As Jasmine's son was furious at Camila, James was still defending her. But seeing James who looks sorry makes Jasmine heartless.

"So what's your decision after seeing your grandfather like this?" ask Jasmine.

"I have to give up" said James.

"It's not about who's giving in, but Camila's attitude is pretty dangerous" Jasmine said.

"I knew and didn't expect that" James said.

"James, you can love someone but use your logic.If Camila loves you she will try to be liked by grandfather, not vice versa." said Jasmine.

James was silent and realized Jasmine's words. Both of them were silent with their own thoughts. The heavy Jasmine leaves her father and whether she will return to the mansion. Robert blinked his eyes to understand, and Lyra immediately tempted Jasmine and the doctor. Jasmine goes inside with James, and the doctor arrives soon. Jasmine was immediately at his father's side and cried.

"Dad, you have to be strong.You can hold on." said Jasmine.

While Robert could only cry seeing Jasmine grieve. A princess who never even depended on her and left home because she could not stand the seizure of the throne that made Robert so guilty. And James also looked so sad from the look in his eyes.

The doctor came and checked her condition. Robert's consciousness began to return, but he should not be a lot of thoughts or feel sad even excessive emotions. His family was asked to obey all his wishes in order to accelerate his recovery.

"Thank you doc." said Jasmine.

"I'm sorry then" said the doctor.

After the doctor left, James asked for time to talk to Robert. That's where he sat down and apologized to his grandfather.

"Grandfather.I'm sorry I was guilty of hurting you" James said.

Robert could only sit still and cry.

"From now on I have nothing to do with Camila anymore, and I'm going to obey my grandfather" James said.

Robert smiled behind the device that covered his mouth. While crying because James finally realized the wrong choice.

"Should I suffer first you trust me? stupid boy." muttered Robert inwardly.

From now on Jasmine and the nurse will take care of Robert in the hospital. And slowly the condition of Robert's body improved. Moreover, plus Jasmine who took care of him painstakingly assisted by a private nurse hired James.

For Camila, he was detained for some time. Although her relationship with James had ended after James openly broke it off, Camila still did not want the relationship to end just like that and would return to take James after his release later.

While James, he must now busy himself to relieve the pain in his heart. Although it's hard leaving Camila but Grandpa and Jasmine are right, Camila shouldn't be doing that. He prefers to work than be at home. Home is just a place to sleep at night, the rest will be in the office or fitness center.

Several months passed after Robert returned from the hospital. His health improved, and Jasmine occasionally stayed at his father's house. Although he still feels traumatized but slowly he must be able to fight the fear.

Every day he always went to his house, to check his father's condition and then returned to the foundation. He even uses his own car that he has not used for a long time. Sometimes Lyra also goes with him and comforts Robert. Robert also likes to talk to Lyra. He only remembered Jasmine when he was young. Moreover, Robert saw sincerity in Lyra.

"How's college?" ask Robert.

"Good cake." said Lyra.

"Why don't you report the exam results to Grandpa? is there anything ugly? grandpa's not mad at me." said Robert.

"I'm just embarrassed that tomorrow I'll bring it." said Lyra.

"You really have to take him tomorrow" Robert said.

"I must have taken him." said Lyra.

Thus, Lyra and Robert became more and more intimate like their own grandchildren and grandfathers. Lyra loved Robert as much as her own grandfather and so did Robert. While James can only smile from a distance to see Robert who is always entertained when Lyra comes.

One day, Robert's health declined. Until James called a private doctor to his house to treat Robert directly. Nothing was wrong all this time, but Robert suddenly dropped his body and weakened to make him worry.

"Sir, I hope Mr. Robert doesn't have much in mind" said Robert's personal doctor.

"Good doc. I will do it." said James.

James also gritted his forehead thinking about what problem made Robert think. He asks Simon and Ben to investigate what Robert is thinking. They were called one by James. The first is Simon.

"Simon, what news have you been telling Grandpa lately.?" ask James.

"Regarding the progress of the company and the problems of Miss Camila" Simon said without hesitation.

"What?? what are you talking about Camila?" james was surprised.

"Himself will be released by his family in the next few months" Simon said.

"It's just fitting that his grandfather's health is declining, it's all because of you Simon" said James.

"My job is to say whatever Mr. Robert asks, and my boss is him, not you" Simon said, insisting that James had no right to be angry with him.

Simon went out and changed with Ben.

"Not Ben, you go to my office" James said as he looked at Ben's face.

"Okay sir." said Ben.

"And do the office work there, I'll catch up" said James.

"Well sir." replied Ben.

Ben only sighed because his master suddenly became emotional when it came to the health of Mr. Robert.

"What's my fault, sir??" ben's grumbling when he had just entered had already been expelled but only said it inwardly.
