The Young Man One
Stories of the Past

Jennifer waved her hand when she saw Kelvan's figure as if she was looking around in the party room. They met also in the end to talk after a long time, something that was not ready to be done for them before.

"Mister Kelvan has arrived. I'm going to leave this show now, because I have needs at home" Ivon said.

"Thank you for bringing me here, Ivon."

Hugs become markers of separation, Kelvan and Jennifer stay there. They move to the far side of the event to be able to talk comfortably.

To dilute the atmosphere, Jennifer pushed her glass to touch Kelvan's glass. They looked at each other then, making him smile. "It's good to toast your success first."

They both drank. Jennifer leaned back against the porch fence, while Kelvan was still looking straight ahead there with his firm stance.

"You married without notice. It disappointed me, hearing it from Ivon."

"Ah, that ...."

"But among us there are still things to be done. I think we both need time. So, I chose to stay away from you."

"It's been a while since you said it. And I feel like we've really broken up, because you've always avoided me and no longer wanted to see me. At that moment, I thought that you had given up on me and Nea. I don't want to force you, so think about ending it. It's a pity, that our relationship that started well should just crumble."

Jennifer nodded slowly. "I can tell you that everything was my fault. If I could communicate our problems better, we wouldn't be what we are today."

"No. It was also my fault. I gave up too soon. If only I could maintain our relationship a little more, maybe we wouldn't be what we are today."

Jennifer stared at the two eyeballs of the man who once occupied the recesses of her heart firmly. "May I say something?"

"I miss you so much. It hurts so much when I have to avoid our meeting. My words about my feelings aren't messing around either, even to this point where I know that you already have a wife. I'm also jealous of Livia, because she has what I used to have, but I don't have it anymore."

"Nurren ...."

Kelvan was shocked to hear the confession. He doesn't know how to behave. If the words had just been spoken in the past, perhaps he would have been very happy, but in fact now it was much different. He already had a wife in his life.

"My feelings for you are very sincere. We have also thought about living together, unfortunately it takes a long time to convince Nea. I choose to no longer look towards the past, because there will be many regrets if I continue to remember."

"I understand. It's a warning to me that intends to take you." Jennifer smiled ignorantly. "Just calm. Ruining people's households is not my job. Even though my husband used to cheat on me, it doesn't make me the same person. I learned from my mistakes at home and with you there is only the intention to be happy."

Jennifer turned around, no longer leaning. He looked at the dark sky while exhaling a sigh of relief. "I'm wasting the people I love again. It all happened to me. After this, I should fix myself up more so as not to be let down."

"I'm sorry, Jenn."

Jennifer turned her head. He hit Kelvan's arm until the man slightly shifted from position. "Let's forget the past. Now tell me how you met. Does Nea like Livia so much more than me that you can get married?"
