The Young Man One

The Young Man One
Two Ice Creams

Not as easy as one might imagine, Kenzi had great difficulty raising grades. The promise to go together to visit grandma on the weekend becomes void, Livia goes alone. Even so, Kenzi increasingly spurred his desire in learning.

Even when they did not meet, Kenzi kept opening the book. All of that is evident from the incoming phone that he often receives from the child just to ask about a way out of a problem.

Walking past the ice cream parlors she had visited, Livia accidentally saw Kelvan there. He immediately looked for a place to hide, for some reason he did not want to meet the man now after making his heart goosebump.

But Livia is hiding in the wrong place. Kelvan immediately found the woman when he was about to board the car, especially Livia crouched beside the driver's cabin door. They were both shocked to learn of each other's whereabouts.

As a result, Livia sat in the car with ice cream given to her. While Kelvan is buying one more ice cream. After what he went through, he never expected that they would eat ice cream together.

Kelvan came in not long after, swapping out their ice cream. Livia refused the favor when she saw the ice cream in her hand had melted, but she was not listened to at all.

"You're such a naughty student, don't want to listen to me."

Kelvan smiles. "You're like this because of me."

Livia was speechless, thinking whether Kelvan knew about her extremely frustrated self not being able to express feelings due to this change in the attitude of this one childless widower?

Kelvan thrust out a tissue and said, "The cream ice wouldn't have soiled your hands if it wasn't for me."

Livia was speechless. I don't know what's on his mind now. One thing he realized was that Kelvan was an insensitive plain man.

"Thank you" said Livia.

After finishing with ice cream, Kelvan drove off the car. That situation made Livia wonder, would it remain the same as the last time where they just kept quiet without a word?

Livia flinched, not believing that Kelvan would open a conversation between them. "Ah, yes ... By the way, you just came to buy ice cream?"

Kelvan scratched his head. "It's so embarrassing."

Livia chuckled, she thought Kelvan was now very funny. How can an adult be embarrassed just for wanting ice cream?

"I always hid it, even from Nea. Only my wife knows, sometimes buying it secretly under the pretext of liking ice cream. In fact, he himself does not like sweet foods."

"I don't know how you can hold back when Nea and Kenzi ate ice cream that time."

"Maybe we're going to hit another car, because all I hear in my ears is the sound of them enjoying ice cream."

Livia's dumbfounded. "Oh, is that the reason why you're quiet during the trip?"

Kelvan nodded his head. "Why indeed?"

Livia lowered her head. He put on a sad look. "You made me misunderstand, thinking that you didn't want to get in touch with me again after becoming Nea's private tutor."

"How can you think like that? I never assumed that our relationship was over."

Kelvan massaging forehead. "I shouldn't be like this at an adult age. But I make you feel that way because of an inconsistent attitude."
