The Young Man One

The Young Man One
Livia is my wife

Livia fiddled beside Kelvan who started to enter the elevator. He quickly followed so as not to miss. Unexpectedly, on a certain floor the door shifted into two parts revealing a horde of employees.

Livia pulled over in the opposite direction from her husband's position. There is no particular reason, only reflex movements when avoiding people. After their distance was too far away, Kelvan who looked half outstretched his hand stopped reaching because he thought it impossible to get Livia who had been blocked by many people. While the woman who was about to be helped was fixated on the spot, could not go anywhere due to a system error in her brain.

Aware of the existence of higher-ups in the company, the employees standing near Kelvan immediately saluted. Kelvan himself just nodded his head clumsily, still thinking about his and Livia's situation a few seconds ago.

"I've never seen you before. What division do you work in?"

The voice of a man, Kelvan's eyes could not reach the sight of Livia who was probably in trouble. The officers who came this swarm had blocked his visibility.

"Oh, you're right! I've never seen it either." A woman's voice this time.

"No matter in any division, I think that in this company there are rare flowers that are hard to find."

"Ah, you're a sweet-mouthed man."

Livia stands between the views of the female and male employees who are beginning to be interested in knowing who she is. He was obviously very awkward and uncomfortable being the center of attention so, let alone blatantly.

"Am I wrong? This woman is so beautiful. By the way, what's your name if we can get acquainted?"

"Livia."

All employees in one elevator turned their attention in one direction. They heard the voice of someone else, not the mouth of the woman they were invited to meet. And wonder, why is it their bosses who answer?

"Be—right? Your name is Livia?" whispered a man standing behind Livia.

Right after the unanswered question was thrown, the elevator door opened. Kelvan stepped out, only to see Livia. He immediately grabbed the woman's hand and pulled her to leave together.

Kelvan didn't leave right away, because he said, "Livia my wife. Don't make him feel uncomfortable again after this." Only then did he leave, leaving a shadow of impenetrability on the faces of the servants.

Kelvan closed the door, taking his wife to occupy the sitting area. He folded his arms around his chest, watching Livia down there quietly dumbfounded.

"I was wrong to bring you here. The officers looked at you as they pleased. Why did your parents have to give birth to such a beautiful daughter?"

Livia laughed. "Is my husband jealous now?"

"Say that."

"What should I do to make you no longer feel that way?"

Kelvan grins. "You sure you asked me?"

"I'm sure you can't possibly ask me to do something that's hard for me to do."

"It's not hard and you can do it, because you'll do it sooner or later."

"So, what is that?"

Kelvan rubbed his chin, then smiled. "I want you to accompany me to come to a party."
